Between You And Me on zee one Monday 12th June 2023 update, Mirchi cuts one leg of Adi’s chair because of which he falls down on the floor. How did it break suddenly? Devina says it cannot happen suddenly. Pushpa says he might have gained weight. Mirchi says it might be a hint from God that food is enjoyed the most when we are seated on the floor. Pushpa loves the idea. Devina is reluctant but has no option. The AC is off. Devina complains about it.

It is so hot! Mirchi says we have to care about the environment too. It is time for your son to take care of you. Vansh hands a hand fan to Adi who starts fanning himself but Mirchi suggests it to do to Devina. Vansh whispers at Mirchi not to eat food by getting sentimental. She says I am not eating it. Devina wants to go but Mirchi suggests playing a game together. Ira is impressed. You are acting way too
smart today. Akhilesh nods worriedly. They start playing hide and seek. Mirchi is blindfolded while everyone else hides. She easily scans the room and catches Pushpa. It is her turn next. Pushpa is blindfolded. Devina says everything will become normal soon if everyone will be so happy together. I wont let it happen. She hits Pushpa intentionally but Ira holds her. Pushpa thinks it was Akhilesh but is surprised to see Ira as she removes her blindfold. They get awkward. Pushpa thanks Ira. Ira says now a mother would say thank you to her daughter. Pushpa shakes her head. She is about to pat her cheek but Devina pretends to be concerned for Pushpa. Mirchi asks everyone to sleep now as it is 10 PM. They head to their rooms. Adi tells his mom they have to do something about this ideal daughter. Devina says I will do something to ruin the entire ideal family now.
Next morning, Ira is working on her laptop. Akhilesh checks about Mishri’s condition with someone. Ira receives call from a nurse who shares that there is no improvement in Case number 52 since last week. Ira and Akhilesh say the same thing in unison. She asks him who he was speaking to. He lies that it was about a business deal. Who were you speaking to? She says the word hospital when Mirchi enters. She is dressed just like Ira. Ira asks her if she would like to become a doc when she grows up. Mirchi tells her to pay fine for using English. Vansh comes there with a box for fine. Ira says I don’t know the Hindi for all these words. Mirchi repeats everything in pure Hindi which surprises Ira. You start talking differently every day since some days! Don’t you find it weird, Akhilesh? Akhilesh says she got into acting classes recently. Ira asks Mirchi why she is dressed like her. Mirchi shares that it is Mother’s Day today. Ira asks her how she is so sweet. No one becomes a doctor by putting this stethoscope around their neck! You have to study hard for it. Mirchi replies that she knows everything already. She checks Ira’s pulse and blood pressure shocking Ira and Akhilesh. Ira asks her how she knows all this. Akhilesh tells Mirchi not to fool her mother. She gets scared. Mirchi and Vansh collect fine from him too. Ira is confused. I loved your attire though. Mirchi asks her to also dress like her mother today. She will like it very much. Ira says no and walks away sadly. Mirchi asks Akhilesh why Ira was crying. Akhilesh says she does not have a mother just like you don’t have one. She might be missing her.
Ira cries holding her mother’s photo. Mirchi apologizes to her for reminding her of her mother. Ira says I could never tell her how much I love her while she was alive. I miss you very much, Mumma. Mirchi reminds her that she also has Badi Ma. Bapu told me that she used to tell you stories and feed you whenever you were hungry. You should do something special for her today as she loves you very much. She would like it. She leaves with Vansh. Akhilesh and Ira are quiet. Ira recalls how sweetly Pushpa had welcomed her in this house.
Vansh is impressed with Mirchi’s idea. Now Ira aunty will dress up like Badi Ma. Your idea was great! I hope you will succeed. Mirchi says there are chances of 99% of it succeeding. There is a chance of 1% failure as we have Devina too. Vansh is sure her plan is full proof.
Devina and Pushpa are arguing over Prasad. Mirchi asks Devina to pay fine for speaking in English. Everyone must speak in Hindi today as it is Mother’s Day. You just 4 English words which amount to Rs. 200. Devina says I have no money. She ends up showing her purse. Mirchi scans her body. You have Rs. 1240 right now. You have hidden some of it behind the mobile cover and some of it in sandal. Vansh takes her phone. Mirchi shows the cash to everyone. Pushpa is shocked. Mirchi takes out the remaining cash from Devina’s sandal. Pushpa compliments Mirchi’s idea. Why are you dressed like a doc though? Mirchi replies that she has done it for her mother. Devina tells her not to become dangerous like her mother. Pushpa tells her to be quiet. I wish even I had a daughter who would do something similar for me. They hear someone talking like her and look in the direction from where the voice is coming. Ira is dressed like Pushpa and talks like her too. She offers parathas to everyone. Vansh tells her that she looks just like Pushpa. Ira says I will dress up like my mother on Mother’s Day after all. It is my genuine love and respect for her. She has done so much for me. She took care of me when I was ill; forgave me whenever I made any mistake. She never let me feel that my mother isn’t alive! Pushpa is touched. Devina cuts her off. This fancy dress wont change anything. You would have heard Pushpa sometimes if you really respected you. Pushpa tries to object but Devina says I wont let anyone harm you now. Mirchi tells Vansh how she spoke of that 1% virus named Devina.
Devina is about to take her away when Akhilesh enters. He gives a gift to Pushpa and Devina each. Pushpa is reminded of their village. You used to pluck mangoes for me back in the village. Devina is disappointed. They decide to make Aam Panna together.
Everyone sits down to drink Aam Panna together. Adi is irked by all the drama. He asks his mother when she will do something to break them. Devina tells him to wait and watch. Akhilesh keeps a competition as to who will finish off max glasses of Aam Panna. A delivery guy comes to give a parcel for Akhilesh. Pushpa receives it. Devina opens it but Mirchi snatches it out of her hand. It is bad manners to open the letter addressed to someone else. Devina is irked but Mirchi stays put. Akhilesh takes it from Mirchi. Inside, there is a small note with a photo where Ira is posing with some other guy. Devina smirks.

Whose letter is it? He lies that it is something related to office but she keeps insisting upon the letter. Is everything fine? She asks Pushpa if she does not think that this letter upset Akhilesh. Pushpa asks Akhilesh but he lies to her too. She catches his lie. You wouldn’t have turned pale if it was about work! Devina takes the envelope from his hand and drops the photo on the floor intentionally. She acts surprised. Even Pushpa is shocked. Devina says Ira is posing with a stranger. I was right that the letter has something which upset Akhilesh. I cannot believe that Ira is cheating us! She dint let us find
out anything. Akhilesh calls it a dirty trick of someone but Devina calls out to Ira to confront her. She shows the photo to Ira who looks at the photo in confusion. Who is this guy? I don’t even know him! I fail to understand as to who sent it. Devina says the sender isn’t important. What is in this photo is to think about! I understand you have needs as you have been away from Akhilesh for 5 years but how can you do this after being married. Ira tells her to stop. She asks the kids to go to their room. She tells Devina she cannot hear all these things about her. Devina says I would have thrown you out of the house right away if you were my DIL. Akhilesh tells her she is making a mountain out of a mole but Devina turns to Pushpa. Would you let it pass or will you act like me? Only an Agnipariksha can testify Ira’s honesty here. Do it! Akhilesh tells them against it. Pushpa says I don’t understand who I should trust but I think Ira must give Agnipariksha. Akhilesh and Ira are shocked but Pushpa stays put. Pushpa leaves. Akhilesh tells Ira not to do anything. He holds her hand to take her inside but she walks away. He follows her.
Devina and Adi shake hands. He compliments his mother’s plan. I am sure Ira wont be able to bear this insult. Akhilesh will support her and Pushpa will head back to Banaras. Devina nods.
Vansh asks Mirchi if she has any solution to this problem. She denies. He says now only God can save us from this problem.
Everyone has gathered in the house temple. Devina asks Pushpa where this Agnipariksha will happen. Pushpa says Ira will have to hold this burning Kapur in her hand and take 20 rounds of the temple to prove her innocence. Akhilesh tells his mother it isn’t right. Devina fuels Ira’s ears this time. Akhilesh tells Pushpa that last time she was proved wrong. If this happens again then I will stop respecting you. She tells him she doesn’t mind. Akhilesh tells Ira not to do this but she agrees to do it for Pushpa’s sake. He again tells her not to do it but she lifts Kapur. Pushpa tells Ira not to do this. It isn’t your but Akhilesh’s Agnipariksha. Devina and Adi are surprised. Why would he do this? Pushpa says even he stayed away from Ira for 5 years. Can fingers be not pointed at a guy? Adi says we have proof against your DIL. Pushpa warns them not to call Ira her DIL. She is my daughter. Pushpa and Ira look at each other emotionally. Pushpa says this photo was fake. Look at Mishri if you want proof of her love. She has raised her so well. I trust her all the more after hearing out Mishri. Everyone is curious to know what Mishri said to her.
Flashback shows Pushpa asking God if she should ignore what has just happened. I don’t want to doubt Ira or take her Agnipariksha but I am in a fix after all this. Why do you keep testing me? She overhears Mirchi praying for both her parents. Vansh asks her why she is praying for Mamu. Mirchi says even he was away from Mapu for 5 years. Vansh says you are right but women get blamed all the time. Flashback ends.
Pushpa says she opened my eyes. All those who doubt Ira can leave the house right away! I will even fight with God if I have to for her! She has fulfilled all the duties in every way! She died every day for my sake. She has saved me so many times from Devina’s traps. She is dressed like me today on Mother’s Day. I trust her fully. I am sure if I had a daughter, she wouldn’t have loved me like her. Ira hugs her overwhelmed. Pushpa says all this happened because of Mishri. I am very happy today and I will dance too. She dances with Ira. Akhilesh smiles. He looks at Mirchi. Pushpa pulls the kids too. Akhilesh stops Mirchi. For a second I felt Mishri is in this house. You have touched everyone’s heart even after being a machine. She takes fine from him for using English word. Devina says I am so happy to see everyone together. I couldn’t bear to see Ira and Pushpa not on talking terms. Mirchi says we haven’t found out who sent that letter. Devina coughs. The sender’s plan failed. It isn’t needed.
Mirchi insists upon finding out as to who sent it. She reads the note and scans the stuff in the room. It matches with a note kept inside Devina’s bag. Devina is the one who sent it. Devina calls it a lie but Mirchi takes out a paper from her purse. The writing matches perfectly. Pushpa checks it too and looks at Devina in shock. Ira says I wont be surprised. I told you that she wants to create a rift between us. The truth is in front of you now. Pushpa tells Devina she gave them enough chances. You proved that you cannot stay with us! Leave with your son right away. Devina and Adi request Akhilesh and Pushpa they wont do it again. Akhilesh asks her to leave. She agrees to do anything but again requests him to let them stay. Pushpa refuses to melt seeing her crocodile tears. Leave! Mirchi stops them. we are an ideal family where we should guide a misguided person to the right path. She thinks of such things as she does not do anything. Give her so much work that she has no free time. Ira tells Pushpa to let them stay. Pushpa gives in. We have to find out what they will do. Mirchi asks the servants not to come from tomorrow. Devina will do everything from tomorrow. Devina is stunned. Mirchi does thumbs up at Akhilesh.
Devina paces angrily. That little scoundrel! I never thought she will expose me before everyone! Adi tells her that no one can change what happened already. He gives her mop and soap. She hits him with the mop. You think I will work like a servant? He reasons that she has no option. We will be thrown out of the house otherwise! I am sure you have no experience to beg! She tells him to shut up. I was born to wear rubies and diamonds. I will pacify Akhilesh emotionally but I need a beauty sleep to act well. Don’t disturb me!
Next morning, Mirchi greets Akhilesh and touches his feet. My world is in my Bapu’s feet. Bless me. He says you might be a machine but girls don’t touch feet. When will this drama end? It is looking filmy. Why are you up so early? She replies that he put an alarm in her.
He asks her to be on sleep mode again but she wants to check on Devina first. He nods. Let’s go and see what she is up to now! He receives a call from nurse who informs him that Mishri’s condition has worsened!

He next tells Mirchi to manage everyone if they ask for him. MIrchi nods. She decides to keep a tab on Devina herself.
Mirchi scans the house for pending work. 90% of the work is not done. She calls out to Pushpa and Ira to inform them about the same. Pushpa and Ira ask her if she is fine. Mirchi tells them that Devina hasn’t done anything. I think she is still sleeping. Pushpa calls out to Devina. Vansh comes downstairs. Pushpa asks Vansh about Devina who comes there with a nail shaper. Why are you screaming? Pushpa and Ira ask her why she dint do anything. Everything is in a mess! Devina says I will do
it in minutes. Mirchi asks her how she can do this so quickly. You don’t have a 32 core CPU like me. Everyone shoots her a confused look. Vansh covers up saying that brain is the CPU of human body. Mishri means Devina isn’t as intelligent as her. Devina says I am intelligent and experienced. She calls out to her personal housekeeping team. They will do everything now! Pushpa reminds her that she was the one who should be working. Devina says you want the work done, right? Let them do it. I am the one who is paying them anyways. She asks her team to do the tasks and sits on the sofa herself. Mirchi calls her wrong for not fulfilling her promise. God wont give you place even in hell for this! You would have recognized your mistake if you had done all this yourself. This was the motto behind your punishment. Devina tells her to buzz off. Give this lecture to someone else. Mirchi says God is watching everyone. Devina asks her to disappear. Pushpa tells Mirchi to let it be. It is no point telling her anything.
Akhilesh brings flowers for Mishri. I know you love them very much. He sits next to her after giving her a forehead kiss. Your treatment will be decided after your tests reports. You should be in a happy mood so the results come out nice. He starts reading out a story to her. Nurse comes to take her blood sample. Akhilesh tells her to be careful. It’s a kid. Nurse asks him if patient is afraid of injection. He denies. She is strong. I am the one who is afraid of injections. She smiles. I hope doctors will be able to decide the next line of action after the tests.
Adi and Devina are enjoying while their team works. Ira says what’s the point of firing the servants. We thought people will look at her differently when Devina will do all this herself. Pushpa says there is no point teaching her a lesson. Mirchi tells them a plan. She has money which is why she got a team. She wont be able to do anything if there is no money! Pushpa likes the idea. How will we do that? Vansh says Mirchi and I will do it. Pushpa asks him who is Mirchi but he covers up saying that he said Mishri. They go to Devina’s room.
Mirchi creates a mess in Devina’s room. Vansh calls out to Devina. Mirchi has scattered everything in your room! Devina is shocked to see the condition of her room. Vansh blames Mirchi. Devina says it must be Pushpa and Ira’s plan. I wont give up so easily. She instructs a servant to clean the house. He replies that he did that just now. I will charge extra money to do this. She pays him extra money on the spot. Clean this room now. Pushpa calls out to Devina from downstairs. Devina throws her purse on the bed and heads downstairs. Vansh tells Mirchi their work is done.
