Between You And Me on zee one Friday 26th May 2023 update, Mishri is crying in her room. Vansh wipes her tears. Mishri tells him to believe her. Mapu isn’t like this. She cannot stoop this low for money! I trust her. She has taken care of everyone in the village and has never taken any money from them. She shows her photos in which Ira is wearing the same saree. She hasn’t bought any new saree for her over so many years but she used to get me new dress every time. She isn’t like this. She is very nice. Vansh asks her why Ira did this then. Mishri is clueless. There must be a reason behind it. We have to get Mapu out of jail. Bapu and Badi Ma wont help us. Vansh says I know you only trust those who speak truth. Pushpa Dadi might help us.

Adi comes inside Kunika’s room with colour. I have been trying to apply colours on her since morning
but not getting any chance. He decides to hide in the cupboard as he hears some noise. He finds the papers of Banaras Ceramics there and realises that Kunika wants to get entire property in her name. I will tell mom.
Pushpa tries cleaning the ink mark but in vain. Mishri and Vansh come there. Pushpa tells her she isn’t interested in hearing anything if she has come here to vouch for her mother. Mishri requests her to listen to her atleast. Pushpa says you are the apple of my eye but I can never accept your mother. Vansh calms Mishri. He asks Pushpa why Ira took this step now. If she only wanted Mamu’s money then she could have done this long ago. Pushpa tells him not to be Ira’s lawyer. I am already worried as this colour isn’t going. Vansh looks closely. This is ink pad’s ink. She wonders who applied this. I will clean it. Go and have food. Mishri looks at Pushpa with hope but Pushpa tells them to leave. Outside, Mishri tells Vansh she was sure Badi Ma wont help them. She will never believe us. Vansh suggests talking to D. They come to Devina’s room but she isn’t there.
Devina asks Kunika about the papers. This was what you were up to? How dare you cheat us? You thought we are stupid like Pushpa? Just like we want to throw Pushpa out of the house after gaining hold of her property you wanted to do the same right? Kunika shouts that she had a reason for that. Lawyer would have suspected you if the papers were in your name. Akhilesh would have sent you back to Banaras. I am Akhilesh’s business and life partner. Devina refuses to believe her and so does Adi. Kunika asks for the papers but Devina refuses. They struggle for it and the papers get torn in two pieces. Akhilesh asks them what these papers were about. Devina and Kunika cook up a fake story. Akhilesh tells them to stop fighting over small things. Kunika suggests going out for lunch. He is reluctant but she insists. Kunika comes back for a second to tell them to tear the papers. Adi complies. Devina shouts at him for his stupidity. We can use these papers to blackmail Kunika. Pick up the pieces and join them!
Akhilesh opens his cupboard and Ira’s photo falls down. How many times should I try to get rid of you? Why do you keep coming in front of me whenever I try to push you away? Why can’t I stop thinking about you? Ira replies that it is because he still loves her. He denies. She calls him a weak liar. He insists it isn’t true. She tells him not to dismiss the truth by shouting. You may try to ignore it but you know you cannot see me in pain. I am sure you will still come to bail me. Akhilesh denies. You were striking a deal with me for my daughter! She asks him if he really believes it. I wouldn’t have to wait for these years if this is what I wanted! People will keep talking but ask yourself once. Do you think I can sell Mishri for few bucks? Do you think I am this cunning? Akhilesh recalls an incident where Ira was offered a scholarship but she said no. Kunika breaks his reverie and asks Akhilesh why isn’t he ready yet. I will call to make reservations. He looks here and there for Ira. Kunika says I will set your mood right. Come soon. He nods. Akhilesh looks at Ira’s photo. The girl I saw after closing my eyes is a cheater! I don’t love you anymore. I hate you!
Devina and Adi hide the papers hearing Vansh’s voice. Vansh asks Devina to help them. We have to get Ira aunty out of jail. Devina appreciates his concern. Kids shouldn’t interfere in the matters of grownups. It isn’t possible to get Ira out of jail! She tells Mishri to forget her mother for 4-5 years. She walks out with Adi. Mishri prays to Bajrang Bali to help her. You know Mapu isn’t greedy. No one believes me. How to get Mapu out of jail? She throws something angrily which hits the box in which Adi had hidden the papers. They look at it curiously and find thumb prints on it. It rings a bell in their head. It is of Badi Ma! They join the pieces using tape. Vansh reads it for her. Khalnayika aunty is the owner of Banaras Ceramics! Mishri says why Mapu went to jail then. Vansh says I am worried that Khalnayika aunty plans to rule the house. She already got a company in her name. He imagines Kunika torturing everyone including Ira. Mishri refuses to let it come true. Police will find out the truth if they get hold of these papers! Mishri imagines Police arresting Kunika. The kids beat her happily with a broom as police takes her away. Akhilesh and Ira hug. Mishri decides to go to police station. We have to get Mapu out of jail!
Kunika enters just when the kids are going out of the room. She closes the door from inside. I warned you both not to act smart with me. Give me the papers! Mishri argues with her. Kunika fights with it. Vansh bites on her hand to help Mishri escape from the room. Mishri runs outside. Kunika slaps Vansh.
Mishri stops her Papu. I want to show you something. You will get Mapu out of jail yourself then. She shows the papers to him but Kunika snatches them out of her hand before he can see them. Kunika lies that Mishri has drawn Ira on the papers. It is her emotional drama. Mishri denies but Kunika does not let her talk. She sends Akhilesh outside. Mishri grabs hold of the paper again. Kunika chases her around the house. Listen to me you little devil. You haven’t seen my anger till date. I will teach you such a lesson that you wont mess with me again!

Kunika asks her how she got out of jail. Ira asks her how she dare raise her hand on her daughter. Mishri hugs her. I told you Khalnayika aunty isn’t good. She shows the papers to Ira. Ira calls it impossible but Mishri says Khalnayika aunty did it stealthily. Kunika lies that she did it willingly but Mishri calls it a lie. Ira reasons that she is the one who taught Moti Ba how to sign. Why will she put thumb impression then? Your truth is out!
Kunika admits she is right. I always wanted Akhilesh’s money. Why do you think I would bear your irritating daughter and that illiterate Pushpa? All this will be mine one day! I will make sure I make Mishri’s life hell. She will shed tears of blood and Ira wont be able to do anything! Ira slaps her. How dare you threaten my daughter?
Kunika notices Akhilesh there and starts crying. Why do you have to be so harsh? I am trying but I don’t have an experience of being a mother. I will take some time. My God knows how hard I am trying. Akhilesh asks Ira what she is doing here. Everyone else comes there as well. Akhilesh asks Ira why she slapped Kunika. How did you get out of jail? Bhavik says I got her bailed. Pushpa and Devina reprimand him for supporting Ira. Ira says you can say anything to me but don’t say anything to Bhavik. Maybe you guys cannot realise who the real cheater in the house is! Ira asks Pushpa if she knows that Kunika got her thumb impressions on the papers to gain hold of this property! Mishri adds that the ink impression on her thumb was because of that reason only. This is true. Believe me. Pushpa refuses to doubt Kunika. She can never do it. Ira asks Kunika to show the property papers in her hands to Moti Ba if she can. Everyone looks at Kunika. She walks up to Devina and Adi stands behind them. Devina holds Kunika’s hand. Don’t be afraid. I know you aren’t lying. Adi replaces the papers as Devina speaks in support of Kunika.
Kunika gives the papers to Pushpa. Akhilesh also reads it. It is an NGO donation form. Ira looks at Devina who smiles. Kunika plays the sympathy card before Pushpa. You said you donate every year in NGO during Holi. These are the same papers. You were inebriated on Holi due to Bhang so I took your thumbprint. Ira calls her liar. I saw it myself. I don’t know when she changed it. She also asks Akhilesh to believe her. Kunika is after your money! Akhilesh says we very well know who is after our money. Pushpa asks her why she is here now when she got what she wanted. Akhilesh replies that she cannot see me happy. Ira says I know you think I am the worst woman ever but you cannot be right always. You are not a God. She tears the company papers right in front of everyone. Mishri asks her Bapu if he knows the truth. Ira tells Akhilesh she has no interest in his money, property or him. It was my duty to warn you but you are most welcome to trust this cheater woman! Maybe you deserve it! You will think of my words the day you will be cheated by this woman! Kunika sheds fake tears. Please don’t insult me before my would-be daughter. Pushpa tells her not to cry due to what Ira is saying. She is a liar and cheats everyone. Ira vows not to interfere in their lives after today. You can live it your way! Mishri runs after her Mapu as she leaves. Bhavik goes after her. Devina, Adi and Kunika smile slyly.
Mishri and Bhavik stop Ira. She tells him not to stop her. Nothing is left in this house! Bhavik says they don’t know why you overtook the company and how you saved that pregnant woman too. Mishri smiles. I knew you cannot be wrong! Ira says the members of this family will always think I am up to something even if I try to do good for anyone. Mishri says Khalnayika aunty is bad. You know it. Ira scolds her to talk like this. Talk like your age. Bhavik asks her why she is scolding Mishri. Ira says what I should do. I am not a bad woman. Mishri keeps falling down as Ira talks to Bhavik. Ira tells her to hold her hand if it is going to happen repeatedly. Mishri reasons that Akhilesh wont have anyone’s hand when he will fall. Bhavik seconds her. He needs to know Kunika’s truth for the love you guys shared once. Mishri asks her Mapu to promise her that she will save Bapu from Khalnayika aunty. Ira promises her. I will do it only for you though. I will try to bring out Kunika’s truth in front of Akhilesh. You will have to stay away from her though! Mishri promises her and hugs her. I love you.
Everyone is seated for dinner. Akhilesh comes there holding a carton which contains Mishri’s books, bag and other stuff for school. Pushpa asks him how he takes care of everything even when he has so much to do. Akhilesh says it is ordered in the name of Kunika. Pushpa is impressed. Devina whispers to Kunika that she ordered it. Kunika takes credit of it in front of Pushpa. Pushpa wonders what Ira has taught her against Kunika. I will tell her everything. Akhilesh advises her against it. She will forget everything after meeting new friends.
Kunika thanks Devina for her plan. Devina asks for diamonds or cash in return of it. Kunika says you don’t know how many sacrifices I have made for it. Devina starts talking but Kunika receives a message. Devina asks her how her face turned pale suddenly. Is Ira sending you a threat message? Kunika lies it is a marketing message. Her phone starts beeping continuously with texts. She excuses herself. Devina gets suspicious.
Ira is worried how to help Mishri. Kunika has done some kind of magic on everyone. She orders a ginger tea at a tea stall when she notices Kunika passing from there. She talks to someone angrily. My plan is failing badly. I will tell you everything when we meet. Ira wonders who might be helping Kunika in her plan of cheating Akhilesh.
Kunika meets a guy and hugs him. I am sorry for getting upset. Ira notices Kunika’s car parked on the sideway and goes to look for her. Don’t know why she came to such an isolated place. Why did her ally call her here? Kunika is seeing talking to someone. Ira is nearby. A guy sprays mosquito repellent just when she inches closer to Kunika and the mystery guy. They disappear by then. Ira is sure it must be the same guy who is helping Kunika in her plan.
Pushpa is ironing Mishri’s dress while Akhilesh prepares her notebooks. Vansh tells Pushpa there is still a wrinkle on pocket. He next tells Akhilesh that the covers are very old type. Akhilesh thinks to change it but Mishri compliments it. Pushpa reads the names of subjects funnily. Vansh helps her read it right. Pushpa says Mishri will teach her right. Everyone agrees. Akhilesh takes the responsibility of waking up the kids in the morning. He tucks them in bed and asks Mishri if she is scared. She shakes her head. He kisses her on the forehead. I am afraid. Pushpa and Akhilesh bid them goodnight as they go.
Akhilesh keeps 4 alarm clocks next to him. I don’t want to take any risk tomorrow. It is Mishri’s first day in school. He lies down to sleep.
All the alarm clocks start ringing at once in the morning. Akhilesh switches them off and runs to wake up the kids. Pushpa packs their lunch. They help the kids get ready. He gets ready too and serves them breakfast. He keeps a hand towel in their bags. Pushpa has packed 4 lunch boxes for them. Mishri says we are going to school and not mountains. Akhilesh reasons that they might feel like eating one of those things so they kept everything. the kids get one more bag. Vansh points out that their school isn’t out of country. Akhilesh replies that it is better to be prepared for any problem. Pushpa does their aarti and feeds them sweetened curd. She does Akhilesh’s aarti too. Akhilesh and Pushpa want to drop them to school on Mishri’s first day. A surprise (dhol) is waiting for Mishri. Pushpa and Mishri dance happily on dhol. Pushpa offers sweets to everyone. Vansh finds it embarrassing but Mishri and Pushpa don’t mind it. Vansh tells Pushpa not to tell anyone that they are his relatives. She laughs. Vansh talks to a boy. They seem to be her relatives and they have come to school for the first time. Mishri notices everyone staring at them. She asks Bapu about it who tells her not to bother about this. I will come back in an hour to pick you. She reminds him that the school timings are for 6 hours. He panics. Pushpa asks him if he remembers his school timings. Akhilesh asks her what if someone misses their kids. He decides to stay near the school. Kids run inside.
Pushpa tells Akhilesh not to worry. I know you are worried as you are sending your daughter away from you for so long. Sit down somewhere. I will go to temple. He agrees. Akhilesh talks to another parent that it is his daughter’s first day in school.
Mishri realises that there is no water bottle. She shouts for it when Ira gives it to her. Mishri smiles broadly. Ira says I couldn’t stop myself from coming here. I knew that Akhilesh will forget something. Mishri says you know Bapu so well. Talk to him and tell him not to marry Khalnayika aunty. You know how bad she is. She points at Akhilesh. Go to him. Ira agrees recalling her promise. I love you. Mishri says I love you too to her as she heads for her class.
Ira looks at Akhilesh. I don’t know if I should talk to him or not. He will get angry the moment he will see me! I have to fulfil my promise to Mishri. She says his name and he tells her to go away. She tries telling him about Kunika but he puts earphones. Her pleas go unheard. The women sitting on nearby benches look on. All the husbands are same. They walk up to Akhilesh and pull his earphone away. She is trying to talk you since so long. Why aren’t you listening tom her? Akhilesh replies that she isn’t his wife. Ira acts that he refuses their relation. She does some drama before the ladies. Akhilesh takes her aside. Are you in your senses? She replies that she dint have to do this if he had listened to her. Ladies tell him not to argue with his wife. He too starts his acting. You only see the plight of women. He complains about small menial tasks. Ira calls it rubbish and warns him to stop but he refuses. She beats me using these hands. She ends up kissing him to stop him from talking. The women leave.
Akhilesh asks Ira what she did. Ira says I knew no other way to quieten you. Please listen to me. He stays put. Kunika must be waiting for me. He leaves in a rickshaw. She follows him in her scooty.
Akhilesh peeks out of the rickshaw and notices her following him. Ira stops the auto but he isn’t inside. She wonders where he disappeared. She suddenly notices Kunika with the mystery guy in the car. They kiss. Ira gets angry. She picks a stone. A Majnu got hurled by stones in the past and this Majnu will again get beaten today. Ira realises it isn’t Akhilesh. Who is he? Why is Kunika sitting closely with him? She kneels down next to the car to hear their convo.
Kunika thanks the mystery guy for getting the papers ready on short notice on Holi. He tells her to hurry up. We need money. She nods. We must not rush into it though. We will get everything after my marriage to Akhilesh. Ira thinks to tell everything to Akhilesh asap.
