Barrister Babu on Joyprime Wednesday 11th January 2023 update, Thakumaa asking Rimjhim to take Bondita and deck her up. Sumati says you did the same thing as her Mami did, Bondita is in her senses, you are doing her Ashirwad rasam today. Thakumaa says you are comparing me with that greedy woman, her intentions weren’t good, my intention is good, I have no selfish greed in this, I m getting her married in a good family, I want her to settle down, she gets her husband’s name, don’t you want good to happen with her.

Sumati says I m afraid that she won’t respect you after this, relations fall weak after trust breaks. Thakumaa says if Bondita’s future gets better with this, then its fine, I want to get her married and insult Anirudh, then my revenge fire will get calm, I mean I just want Bondita to settle down, even if they all hate me. Rimjhim says yes, let Bondita’s marriage happen, else Tapur and Tupur’s marriage will get obstacles. Sumati gets sad.
Anirudh says I m worried for Bondita. Bihari says I just saw Thakumaa taking Bondita to the temple by intoxicating her. Anirudh says Bondita refused for the child marriage, Thakumaa is doing this to get her married, I will stop her. Trilochan says I will come along. Thakumaa makes Bondita sit in the mandap. The man asks pandit to see the bride’s hand. Rimjhim shows Bondita’s hand. Pandit says this girl is Laxmi, very lucky. The ladies smile. The man says we should not delay the puja. Thakumaa asks Bondita to touch their feet. Anirudh and Trilochan come there. Anirudh says Thakumaa had turned her semi-conscious. A man stops Anirudh by keeping a sword at his neck.
Thakumaa says we shall complete the rasam now. The man says its Thakumaa’s command to stop you all. Trilochan scolds the men. The men beat up Anirudh. Anirudh screams in pain. Trilochan shouts. Thakumaa thinks now Bondita’s relation with Anirudh will end. Anirudh gets dizzy. Tapur thinks sorry Bondita, I couldn’t help you. Trilochan asks Anirudh to come with him. Anirudh says I have to save Bondita. Trilochan says I worry for your life at this time. Anirudh says Bondita isn’t able to save herself, we have to get her to senses. Trilochan says you do it from here, else Thakumaa will kill you. Anirudh says my relation isn’t so weak, Thakumaa can stop me from reaching Bondita, but not stop my voice. He goes to the temple and rings the bell. Trilochan looks on. Thakumaa and the groom’s family turn to see. Bondita opens her eyes. She gets to senses. She lifts the ghunghat and sees the gifts. She asks why are you doing this, I m already married to Anirudh.
The groom’s dad asks what, but Thakumaa told that you are unmarried. Bondita says she has lied to you, I m married and then my marriage broke, because it was a child marriage, its a bad custom, child marriage is a crime now, that’s why Anirudh and I broke our marriage. The lady says such a big cheat, her marriage is broken. Thakumaa says no, she is lying, she doesn’t want to go away from her mum, so she is making stories. She asks Bondita to let this happen. Bondita says whatever I said is the truth. Thakumaa holds her hands. Bondita shows the tattoo and says this is the proof of my marriage. The lady says we don’t know if her relation broke, or she was thrown out, you should have thrown her in the river instead getting her married again. The ladies start insulting Bondita, and also Thakumaa. The groom’s dad calls off the rasam and they leave. Anirudh looks on happily. He says Bondita has won her fight. He smiles.
Thakumaa stopping the groom’s family and begging them to accept Bondita. The man scolds Thakumaa. Thakumaa says women and coal have blackness and burning in their fate, but Bondita is a diamond. She says I assure you, your house will get happiness and Laxmi if Bondita goes to your house. The man says fine, I will take this girl along, but not as my bahu, as a thing to entertain us, she can stay in some corner of the house. Thakumaa shouts on the man Narayan. The man argues. Bondita scolds the man. She says your thinking is impure, you think women are like things to keep it of leave it.
She answers him. She says look at your family women and me, am I different, if my marriage broke, I m better than them, I m educated, I know my betterment, I raise a question on the bad custom like child marriage, I argue and understand right and wrong, I fight against child marriage, Anirudh and I sacrificed our marriage to save other girls’ lives, every girl is a diamond, I snatch a right from men to judge us. She says you can’t reject me, I will reject this alliance, the house where women has no respect, that house has no respect at all, I break this alliance myself.
The man asks Thakumaa to control Bondita, else she will make her ashamed. Trilochan asks Anirudh to come, Thakumaa would have taken Bondita home. Anirudh says Thakumaa is playing this game, Bondita isn’t talking to me. Trilochan says Thakumaa can’t separate you too, can anyone separate a heart and heartbeat, if you are the heart then Bondita is the heartbeat. Thakumaa asks Bondita to stop.
Thakumaa says I want your betterment, I wanted to lie and get you married, did I do anything wrong, you are getting insulted, how did you get these bad names, its because of Anirudh, I was going to do good for you by making you a Suhaagan. Bondita says he wanted to give me freedom, you are confining me, he wanted to give me a sky and flight, you are giving me a cage, you are also getting insulted this way.
Bondita says I will not bow down in front of a wrong decision, even if you are in front. Thakumaa slaps her. Thakumaa goes home. She talks to the pandit. She asks for some solution to get Bondita married. Pandit says there is a solution, but its tough. Sumati takes care of Bondita. She talks to her and ties her hair. Bondita recalls Anirudh’s words. Pandit says its not easy, Bondita may not do this. Thakumaa asks him what is it. He explains about purity ritual, once she is proved pure, then her relation can happen, it will be like her new birth. He tells that the girl is sent to the dark isolated house at night and then the door opens in the morning.
Thakumaa says there are many wild animals, no person can do there. Pandit says she has to go. Sumati says I can’t see your tears, I know this is tough for you. She asks Bondita to try and understand. Bondita goes. Thakumaa says if the girl is impure, then she can’t come out of the place, if Bondita is pure, then she can also come out.
