Gini silently apologizes to Kavya and, for the sake of her own happiness, believes Kavya should sacrifice her love.
After viewing the video, the judge announces that Yuvraj and his friends will be kept in custody for two weeks until the next court date. Anjali requests that the hearing be held on the next date due to the threat to Padma. The judge agrees.
Chandraman’s henchmen bring Pradeep and Stepney to him. Chandraman questions whether Aman visits their neighbourhood. They deny it. He threatens to kill them if they don’t tell the truth and demands to know who Aman’s girlfriend is. Pradeep and Stepney insist they don’t know.
Anjali goes to Yuvraj and taunts him. She tells Padma that this is their first step toward victory. Raghav tells Anjali not to get too happy, reminding her that Yuvraj is only in jail for two weeks and many hearings remain. He says the case could drag on for years and that she won’t be able to do much. Anjali replies, saying Pankaj has filed a strong charge sheet. Pankaj joins them and taunts her. Anjali then leaves with Padma.
Chandraman calls Aman and asks if he went to the slum yesterday and put a ring on his girlfriend’s finger. Aman replies that he loves someone else and tells Chandraman to marry off Kavya to someone else. He says he will find a match for her. Chandraman reacts to this. Kavya takes the phone and tells Aman that she loves him, asking who is coming between them. Aman tells her he can’t reveal anything until after marriage and cuts the call. Chandraman releases Pradeep and Stepney but instructs his men to keep an eye on them. They all leave.
Gini later approaches a waitress and asks if she could identify Aman’s girlfriend if she saw her. The waitress says yes. Gini shows her Anjali’s photo, and the waitress confirms it’s her.
