Jhanak On Starlife Sunday 16th August 2026 Update, Jhanak is worried about how she can save Rishi because the kidnapper’s demands are very high. She wonders who will help her, knowing she has to do something to find Rishi. She remembers Abhimanyu and Tanushri’s words and starts crying.

Meanwhile, in Simulboni, Parashar wonders whether Rishi has returned or not. When Jhanak calls him, he asks whether Rishi returned. Jhanak struggles to tell him the truth and cries. She decides not to tell Parashar at first because she fears he will create a scene at Rishi’s house, causing Rishi’s parents to complain against him and possibly get him arrested. She tells him that everything is over. Parashar says he should have stayed with Jhanak, but she then tells him that Rishi has been kidnapped. She says they cannot inform the police because Rishi’s safety is at risk.
Parashar asks who kidnapped Rishi, and Jhanak tells him about Ankush and his men. He asks her to do something with the help of Rishi’s family. Jhanak says she has already left the house. When Parashar asks what she is planning to do, Jhanak reveals that they threw her out of the house. Parashar is shocked and asks how they could do that.
Jhanak tells him that she cannot go to the police, so she will go to Indranath. Parashar says politicians cannot be trusted, but Jhanak says Indranath is a kind and good person. Parashar then tells her that he is coming to Kolkata to support her and will not leave her alone in this situation. Jhanak asks him to come and disconnects the call.
On the other side, Arshi says she has never seen fools like Aditi and Aniruddh. Aditi says she loved Rishi, so it matters to her if anything bad happens to him. She asks Arshi not to stop her from helping Rishi’s family. Arshi questions why Aditi wants to help when Rishi’s wife, Jhanak, is not doing anything.
Aditi says she does not accept Jhanak as Rishi’s wife. She believes Rishi always ends up in danger whenever Jhanak claims her rights over him. Aditi thinks this is the best chance to prove that she is better than Jhanak.
Aniruddh tells Arshi that Aditi should go and says she can meet her ex-husband’s family. He asks Arshi not to fight over every matter. Arshi says she is only saying what is right. She warns Aniruddh not to give money to Rishi’s family and says Aditi could end up in danger because of him.
Aditi says Rishi will regret leaving her if she supports him now. She wants to prove that she truly loved Rishi. She then leaves with Aniruddh.
After some time, Dritimaan says the news about Rishi’s disappearance has been published in the newspaper. Neelu says Ankush’s enmity is with Jhanak, which is why Ankush’s men kidnapped Rishi. Tanushri asks Abhimanyu to bring Rishi back safely.
Mishti says they should give the kidnapper the money he is demanding to save Rishi. Sanjhbati says it would be wrong to fulfil the kidnapper’s demands. Abhimanyu asks why she is worried about injustice when Rishi’s life is in danger. Sanjhbati asks him not to misunderstand her and says the police will not release Ankush just because they ask them to.
Tanushri prays to God to protect Rishi. She says Rishi was happy with Aditi, but Jhanak ruined everything. She tells Dadabhai that Jhanak may be a good person, but she is not the right person for Rishi or their family. She also says Jhanak has no rights to the house.
Dadabhai reminds them that Jhanak is Rishi’s wife. Abhimanyu says he cannot tolerate Dadabhai’s interference anymore. Dadabhai says he will not say anything from now on. Tanushri tells him that he is not Rishi’s parent, so he cannot understand their pain. Dadabhai is hurt by her words.
Aniruddh and Aditi arrive there. Tanushri cries as she hugs Aditi and says Rishi’s fate was ruined when Aditi left his life. Indumati says they do not know how Rishi is doing now. Aditi says she still cares about Rishi, which is why she came.
Aniruddh asks where Jhanak is. Abhimanyu tells him that he threw Jhanak out of the house. Aniruddh gets angry and says Jhanak is legally Rishi’s wife. Tanushri says her priority is Rishi, and she cannot think about Jhanak right now.
Aniruddh says Jhanak’s father is still alive, so he should have been informed about what happened. Aditi asks him to stop fighting for Jhanak and focus on Rishi’s situation. Dadabhai tells Aniruddh about the kidnapper’s demands and asks him to do something.
Aniruddh says no one can find Rishi except Jhanak. Aditi tells him that she knows Jhanak is his daughter, but that does not mean Jhanak is the only person who can do everything. She says the news has already been published in the newspaper, so they should go to the police.
Later, Aditi tells the DIG about Rishi’s kidnapping. The DIG says they should have informed him earlier. Dritimaan explains that they did not understand what to do at that time. The DIG asks where Rishi’s wife is. Aditi says it seems like he does not want to cooperate at all and tells Aniruddh, “Let’s go.”
Aniruddh tells the DIG that Jhanak was thrown out of the house and says he will find her. Aditi says they should find both Rishi and Jhanak, who may have gone to Simulboni. The DIG says he will do his work according to the proper protocols.
