Back home, Gauri recalls how Vihaan saved her. Vihaan wishes her good night, and Gauri tells him a person can change if they want to. She then opens up to him, revealing that her mother was a bar dancer who abandoned her on the road after birth, and she doesn’t want anyone to know. Vihaan tells her he had asked about her mother before, but she didn’t share. He promises he will not tell anyone.
Vihaan takes his pillow and says good night. Gauri teases him, saying his hips will hurt if he sleeps on the sofa, and challenges him that he’s afraid to share the bed with her. As she tries closing the door, Vihaan playfully stops her and teases her before settling back on the sofa. Gauri sleeps on the bed while Vihaan takes the sofa. Later in the night, Gauri wakes up and starts staring at him. She takes her phone and asks Ai how to know if she has fallen in love. Ai tells her that her heart will start beating fast whenever that person is near. At that moment, Vihaan stirs awake on the other side.
The next morning at the police station, Arjun is waiting for Vihaan. He teases Harsh about Sia. Harsh explains that he is stuck in a situation, which is why he sent Sinde to keep an eye on Sia. Suddenly, Sia arrives at the station, and Arjun leaves. Sia questions Harsh about letting someone go free, but Harsh warns her that her life is in danger from that man. Sia replies that her life is actually in danger because of her brother.
Meanwhile, Gauri prepares tea for Vihaan. When she goes to serve it, she gets lost in a dream in the kitchen and instead asks Arjun to give the tea to Vihaan. Arjun asks Gauri if Vihaan has misbehaved with her and why she looks scared of him. Gauri insists she isn’t scared and that her heart doesn’t beat for him. Arjun tells her that if she serves the tea, Vihaan will be impressed and hug her. Gauri decides to serve the tea herself.
At the police station, the lights begin to fluctuate. Harsh asks Varun to check the problem. Varun notices the issue is only with their station and sends Sia away, but suddenly she senses her brother is coming there. Sia urges Harsh to leave, but he refuses, saying he won’t go anywhere.
Back at home, Gauri takes the tea and hears Veena crying in her room. Veena tells Sarda that if the truth about her comes out, no one will trust her, and Vihaan will leave her. Sarda comforts Veena and promises her no one will ever find out. Gauri, curious, wants to know what’s really happening.
