Rishi tells his family that Jhanak used to visit Ayushman’s house many times and asks what other proof they need. Tanushri points out that Jhanak could have visited Ayushman for work, but Rishi accuses her of suddenly becoming Jhanak’s favourite. He insists that he is not Jhanak’s enemy and explains that he loved her, which is why he married her. However, he claims that Jhanak betrayed him and declares that he is not the father of her child.

Dadabhai suggests that they discuss the matter further, but Rishi refuses to live with Jhanak and insists that he knows the truth. When Dritimaan asks why Jhanak cannot be pregnant with Rishi’s child, Rishi says it is a personal matter that he cannot reveal. He adds that it is his life, so he will make his own decisions and will not allow anyone to interfere.
Abhimanyu questions how Rishi can make such a statement when Jhanak is pregnant and needs his support. However, Rishi insists that supporting her is not his responsibility. Aniruddh says he will ask Jhanak whether she wants to stay with Rishi, but Aditi tells him not to interfere in their relationship and asks him to consider Rishi’s side of the story as well. Aniruddh accuses Aditi of instigating Rishi, but she warns him not to make such accusations. She explains that she received the information from her colleague’s sister and says they can verify it. Indumati then tells Aditi to stay out of the matter.
Dritimaan asks Rishi to make his final decision clear. Rishi repeats that he is not the father of Jhanak’s child. Aniruddh questions him about whether anything happened between him and Jhanak after their marriage, but Rishi refuses to answer and tells them to ask Jhanak instead. Aniruddh insists that Rishi should divorce Jhanak and tells Aditi that he is going to meet her. Rishi claims that Jhanak betrayed him even after he fought against his family to marry her. Aniruddh tells Jhanak that he has come to take her home because he believes she and Rishi cannot stay apart for long. However, Jhanak refuses to return to Rishi because he has rejected both her and their child. Aniruddh insists that she should come with him and declares that everyone must understand that she is not alone. He wants to fight for her and requests her to accept his support. Ayushman also encourages Jhanak to go with Aniruddh.
Jhanak worries that Aniruddh would have faced problems if he had stayed with her earlier. However, Aniruddh explains that he no longer lives with Arshi, so she cannot dictate his decisions. He adds that Aditi must understand that his younger daughter, Sanjhbati, can live with him.
Meanwhile, Sanjhbati and Dritimaan approach Rishi to discuss the situation, but he refuses to talk about Jhanak. Dritimaan insists that the matter is too important to ignore, while Sanjhbati asks whether Rishi does not even want to know how Jhanak is doing. Rishi assumes that Jhanak must be staying at Ayushman’s house. Dritimaan questions why he trusts Aditi instead of Jhanak, but Rishi says the source of the information does not matter because he can see the truth for himself. Sanjhbati asks what will happen to Rishi and Jhanak’s future, but he insists that they have no future because she betrayed him. Sanjhbati later says that Rishi has become egoistic and will regret his actions when the complete truth comes out. Rishi questions why he should go to Jhanak when she has betrayed him. Rishi responds that he has no intention of proving anything to anyone.
Elsewhere, Aniruddh takes Jhanak to his house. Jhanak worries that her presence will affect Aditi and says she would be comfortable staying in the doctor’s room. Aniruddh tells her that he will make his own decisions and that Aditi cannot argue with him over Jhanak. He then asks why Rishi has misunderstood her, but Jhanak refuses to discuss the matter. Aniruddh reminds her that he is her father and cannot ignore what is happening in her life. He also questions how Rishi can confidently claim that he is not the father of her child when there should be understanding between a husband and wife. Jhanak admits that she does not know why Rishi is making such accusations.
Aniruddh declares that he will not let Rishi get away with insulting Jhanak. However, Jhanak asks him not to take any action because Rishi and Aditi might reunite, and she does not want to return to Rishi’s life or his house. Aniruddh then warns that if Rishi and Aditi reunite, he will take away Aditi’s rights as a daughter.
Later, Sanjhbati calls Aniruddh and tells him that she wants to meet Jhanak. Aniruddh confirms that Jhanak is with him but doubts that she wants to meet anyone. Sanjhbati explains that the family does not agree with Rishi’s accusations against Jhanak. Aniruddh asks Jhanak whether she wants to meet Sanjhbati and Dritimaan, and she agrees. He then informs them that Rishi will not be allowed to meet Jhanak.
The next day, Dritimaan and Sanjhbati arrive at Aniruddh’s house to meet Jhanak. She is happy to see them and welcomes them warmly. Dritimaan explains that they have come to talk to her, but Jhanak assures them that she is fine and tells them not to worry. Dritimaan then reveals that his family does not support Rishi’s actions. Aniruddh makes it clear that Jhanak will not return to Rishi’s house, while Sanjhbati encourages her to stand up for herself. Jhanak declares that she will raise her child alone and take care of everything herself. However, Sanjhbati tells her that the entire family wants her to stay with them.
