Unfortunate Love On Zee World Tuesday 25th August 2026 Update, Rishi confesses his love to Lakshmi in front of everyone. He tells her that he knows he has hurt her a lot and that she no longer believes him. Rishi says he is confessing his feelings in front of everyone to prove how much he truly loves her. He tells Lakshmi that he only sees her as his wife, loves only her, and has no love for anyone else. He adds that he only learned how to love because of her.

Rishi then tells the Oberoi family that he is nothing without Lakshmi. He admits that he made many mistakes with her, but none of them were intentional. He begs Lakshmi to give him one more chance and promises that he will always keep her trust. He asks her to give him a chance so that he can make everything right.
Kiran comes to comfort Malishka while Rishi continues his confession. Aanchal asks Neelam to stop what is happening, but Neelam says she is waiting for the right moment to stop Rishi and do what she wants. Aanchal asks when that right time will come. Neelam explains that if she stops Rishi now, he might stop her from doing what she wants.
Harleen says she has never seen such a lovely Lohri celebration. Karishma asks what she means, and Harleen says Rishi finally spoke his heart to Lakshmi. Neelam then asks Rishi to complete the ritual. Rishi tells Lakshmi that they should take the Phere as husband and wife. When Lakshmi is about to step forward, Rishi notices glass shards on the ground and stops her. He picks up all the glass pieces before they continue.
Rishi then ties the Gathbandhan with Lakshmi’s Dupatta, and they take the Phere around the Lohri fire. After completing the seven Phere, Rishi takes out the Sindoor box. He tells Lakshmi that she will be the only woman who has the right to wear Sindoor with his name. He applies Sindoor to her hairline, leaving Lakshmi emotional. Rishi promises that he will earn her trust again and once again asks her to give him a chance. Shalu and the family members clap for them. Rishi and Lakshmi take blessings from Harleen and later from Rano.
Meanwhile, Anushka calls Neel, but he does not answer. Shalu regains consciousness and tells Anushka that she will not let her get away. Anushka pushes Shalu, causing her to hit the floor and lose consciousness again. Anushka prepares to leave but then changes her mind. She decides to kill Shalu because she believes Shalu has destroyed everything for her.
Anushka takes a pillow and tries to suffocate Shalu with it. Varsha sees Anushka trying to kill Shalu. She also notices the necklace lying on the couch and quickly takes it. When Varsha hears footsteps, she hides behind the bed.
Ayush enters the room and catches Anushka trying to kill Shalu. He pulls Anushka away and places Shalu on the couch before sprinkling water on her face. He asks if she is okay, and Shalu says she is fine. She then sees Anushka trying to hit Ayush with a stick and quickly warns him.
Ayush protects himself and asks Anushka if she is trying to kill him. Anushka responds angrily. Varsha tries to sneak out of the room, but Ayush and Shalu spot her with the necklace. Varsha hits the door and loses consciousness. Ayush also pushes Anushka away, causing her to hit the cupboard and lose consciousness. Ayush and Shalu then lock the door from the outside and leave.
Ayush and Shalu return to the Lohri celebration. Ayush asks Shalu if they should tell the family about Anushka immediately or wait. Shalu says they can tell them later because everyone is enjoying the celebration, and Anushka and the servant cannot escape because the door is locked from outside. Ayush agrees.
Malishka cannot bear watching Rishi and Lakshmi take the Phere, so she decides to put out the Lohri fire. Kiran stops her and says that if their first plan failed, the second plan will work. Malishka agrees to follow the new plan.
Varsha regains consciousness and takes the necklace. She realizes that the door is locked from outside and calls Kiran for help. Varsha sees someone passing by the room and asks him to help her get out. The man agrees and lets her out. Varsha then locks the room and leaves.
Kiran tells Malishka that Varsha has stolen the necklace. She says they now have to move on to the next step of their plan. Malishka says they need to make everyone believe that they urgently need the necklace and are trying to get it back. Kiran agrees.
Kiran goes to Neelam, Karishma and Aanchal and tells Neelam that Malishka is very worried about the necklace. Karishma asks why Malishka is so worried about it. Kiran explains that Malishka believes everything happening to her is because she removed the necklace. She tells Karishma that Malishka wants to wear the necklace again immediately. Aanchal and Kiran then go to get it.
Meanwhile, Anushka regains consciousness and decides that she must escape before anyone arrives. She sees that the door is still locked and worries about getting caught. She calls Neel but struggles to reach him because of the poor network.
Anushka finally gets through to Neel. He asks if she has found the money. Anushka tells him that she is locked inside a room and asks him to get her out. Neel agrees and asks where she is. Anushka gives him directions to Rishi’s room.
Neel arrives, unlocks the door and takes Anushka away. Kiran sees Varsha holding the necklace and feels relieved. She then takes Aanchal to get the necklace. When they reach Rishi’s room, they find the room completely messy. Kiran tells Aanchal that the necklace has been stolen.
Anushka worries that the Oberoi family will call the police. Neel calls his friend Pankaj and asks if he has an inspector’s uniform. Pankaj says yes. Neel tells him to come over and sends him the plan through a message. Anushka asks what he is doing. Neel says he is taking revenge on the Oberoi family and asks her to trust him.
Meanwhile, Ayush asks Shalu to come with him. Shalu asks where he is taking her, but Ayush asks her to trust him. He takes her around the Lohri fire and they begin taking Phere together.
Karishma sees them and asks Ayush what he is doing. Ayush says that he is performing the Pooja with Shalu. Karishma asks if he even knows what he is doing. Shalu tells Ayush not to create a scene, but Ayush reminds Karishma that this is what they want.
Karishma criticizes Ayush and tries to pull his hand away from Shalu’s. The priest stops her and says she should not interrupt them because they have already started the Pooja. He explains that if they do not complete it, it will be inauspicious for both Ayush and Shalu.
Neelam asks the priest what he means because she has never heard anything like that before. The priest says she may not have heard it before, but it is the truth. Since Ayush and Shalu have already started the Pooja, they must complete it. Hearing this, Karishma and Neelam allow Ayush and Shalu to finish the ritual.
