Unfortunate Love On Zee World Wednesday 26th August 2026 Update, Rishi completes the Sath Phera with Lakshmi while Neelam watches. Karishma and Aanchal turn their backs, feeling helpless as the ritual continues. Rishi applies vermilion to Lakshmi’s forehead and promises to be her husband in every lifetime. He also makes it clear that only Lakshmi has the right to apply vermilion with his name. Malishka is devastated by what she sees and decides to move ahead with Plan B.

Meanwhile, Kiran goes to Neelam and manipulates her by saying that Malishka is going through mood swings and wants to wear her necklace again. Aanchal joins Kiran to bring the necklace for Malishka. However, when they enter Malishka’s room, they are shocked to see the locker open. Kiran becomes happy, believing that her plan has worked.
At the same time, Shalu regains consciousness and realizes that she is trapped inside the room. She seeks help from Neel, who helps her get out. Neel then comes up with a plan and calls the police to the Oberoi family’s Lohri celebration.
Aayush decides to take a step towards Shalu and begins the Lohri Pooja with her. He takes Sath Phera with Shalu, determined to welcome her into his life. Karishma tries to stop him, but the priest warns her not to interfere because stopping the ritual could bring problems for Aayush and Shalu. Shalu also tries to stop Aayush, but he remains determined to complete the Pooja with her.
Soon, the police arrive at the Oberoi mansion. Rishi asks the cops why they have come there. The police tell him that they received a call from the house. Kiran steps forward and admits that she called them.
Kiran tells the inspector that her necklace has been stolen. The inspector asks if she suspects anyone. Kiran says that she knows exactly who stole it. She then points at Lakshmi and accuses her of stealing the necklace.
Neelam is shocked and tells Kiran that she cannot believe Lakshmi would do something like that. Harleen also stands up for Lakshmi and says she will not tolerate Kiran accusing her. Rishi, Aayush and Shalu also defend Lakshmi.
Malishka makes a comment about Aayush and Shalu, while Rano argues with Kiran. Rano says that Lakshmi would never even think of stealing the necklace. Karishma tells Rano to keep quiet, but Rano does not back down and gives her a strong reply, also criticizing the Oberoi family.
Rishi tells Kiran that he will not tolerate her accusing Lakshmi of theft. Aayush also defends Lakshmi and tells Kiran that if Lakshmi wanted to buy a necklace, she would only need to tell Rishi. He says Rishi would bring an entire jewellery shop and put it in front of Lakshmi.
Rishi insists that Lakshmi could never do something like this and continues arguing with Kiran. Kiran says Lakshmi is staying quiet because she knows she stole the necklace.
Lakshmi arrives and asks Kiran what she expects her to do. She says that guilty people and those who try to frame others are usually the ones who shout, while an innocent person does not need to prove anything by shouting.
Rishi tells Kiran that Lakshmi is his wife and he will never stand by while she is accused. Malishka tells Rishi that he should not speak to Kiran like that. Rishi replies that he is speaking to Kiran that way because she is Malishka’s mother, and if it were anyone else, he would have taught that person a lesson.
Aayush and Shalu continue defending Lakshmi and say that she could never steal the necklace. Malishka argues with them and claims that Lakshmi stole it because she is jealous of her.
The police inspector finally stops everyone from arguing. He says that Lakshmi is under arrest because she is being accused of the theft. Rishi, Harleen, Aayush and Shalu immediately protest and tell the inspector that he cannot arrest Lakshmi.
Shalu then asks Kiran if the necklace was kept in Rishi’s room. Kiran confirms that it was. Aanchal asks Shalu if she is suggesting that Rishi stole the necklace. Shalu says no and explains that she is not accusing Rishi.
Shalu reveals that she saw someone inside Rishi’s room. She identifies the person as Anushka and tells everyone how Anushka attacked her and made her unconscious. Lakshmi immediately asks Shalu if she is okay. Shalu assures her that she is fine.
Before the family can continue the argument, the cops stop them and reveal that they have come to arrest Aayush for kidnapping Anushka. The Oberoi family tries to stop them, but the police refuse to listen and arrest Aayush.
