Dadi talks to Beeji about their visit to the temple. Palki takes some prasad from Beeji’s bag, but Beeji questions whether they can offer it to the Luthras when it was bought from a small shop. Palki explains that prasad is sacred regardless of where it comes from, and Shanaya agrees with her. Meanwhile, Kareena tells Daljeet that she likes both Palki and Shanaya and praises her for giving her daughters a good upbringing. Daljeet asks the Luthras whether Shaurya has a brother, revealing that she wants her daughters to marry into the Luthra family. Beeji remarks that Daljeet is always joking.
Varun’s family arrives and greets the Luthras. Shaurya, Sandy and Varun dance together, and everyone applauds them. Dadi says she is enjoying Kavya’s mehendi function, while Roma asks where Kavya is. Palki offers to bring Kavya and goes inside.
Meanwhile, Nidhi cries as she recalls the moments Karan has shared with Preeta. Aarohi arrives and asks Nidhi why she attempted suicide, reminding her that she has always been a strong person. Nidhi explains that Karan brought Preeta into the Luthra house as Dadi’s physiotherapist and reveals how he refused to love her. Aarohi scolds Nidhi for attempting suicide, but Nidhi asks how she is supposed to live without Karan. Aarohi points out that Nidhi already has everything she wants, leaving Nidhi to reflect on her situation.
Elsewhere, Mahesh questions Rajveer about who opened the locker. Rajveer lies that he mistook it for a cupboard because he was looking for a hand towel. Mahesh gives him one and explains that he found an important file under the bed, so he changed the lock’s password. However, he admits that he has forgotten the new password. Rajveer enters the bathroom and blames himself for failing to steal the file when he had the chance.
Palki compliments Kavya and asks why she looks nervous. Kavya admits that she is scared, but Palki reassures her that it is normal for every bride to feel that way. They then go downstairs. Meanwhile, Beeji tells Daljeet that Shanaya will live like a queen in the Luthra house. Daljeet says Palki missed her chance by choosing Rajveer, and Beeji suggests that they break up Palki and Rajveer’s relationship and find a wealthy man for Palki instead.
Shaurya notices the detective serving drinks and scolds him for failing to focus on Karan. Elsewhere, a guest asks Rakhi whether Preeta is her daughter-in-law. Rakhi clarifies that Nidhi is her daughter-in-law.
Rajveer, Shaurya and Varun dance together, and Kavya joins them before the other guests join in. However, Varun becomes nervous when he receives a phone call and leaves the function. Preeta notices his behaviour and tries to follow him, but Roma stops her.
Meanwhile, Nidhi tells Aarohi that she will never get anything from Karan beyond friendship. Aarohi suggests that they go downstairs, but Nidhi asks to be left alone for some time. Aarohi agrees and leaves.
Varun meets a woman in a room, and she embraces him. When Shaurya approaches, the woman hides. At the same time, Preeta questions Roma about why she seems determined to stop her from going inside. Roma scolds Preeta for speaking to her that way. Kareena intervenes and tells Preeta that she needs to speak with her privately.
Kareena takes Preeta aside and scolds her for being rude to Roma, reminding her that they are representing the bride’s family and should not behave that way towards the groom’s family. Preeta argues that they are giving their daughter in marriage and are just as important as Varun’s family. Kareena questions whether Preeta considers herself Kavya’s mother and reminds her that Nidhi assigned her the wedding responsibilities, so she should concentrate on those duties instead of interfering elsewhere.
Preeta insists that she did not say anything wrong to Roma. However, Kareena warns that she will not tolerate Preeta’s behaviour if it causes Kavya’s marriage to be cancelled. Kareena leaves, and Dadi asks what happened. Kareena explains that Preeta spoke rudely to Roma. Rakhi then declares that if Kavya’s marriage is cancelled because of Preeta, Preeta will not be allowed to remain in the Luthra house. Dadi agrees that Kavya should stay away from Preeta.
Meanwhile, Beeji tells Daljeet that they must separate Palki and Rajveer that very day. Daljeet argues that Rajveer rarely makes mistakes, but Beeji believes they can manipulate Palki into doubting him. Daljeet approaches Palki and tells her to pay attention to Rajveer because he no longer seems to care about her. She lies that she overheard Rajveer speaking to someone on the phone and saying that Palki is madly in love with him and refuses to leave him alone. Palki insists that this cannot be true, but Beeji claims that she heard the same thing.
Elsewhere, Shanaya asks Shaurya when their mehendi function will take place. Shaurya tells her that their family will decide. Meanwhile, Karan notices that Preeta is troubled and wonders what is bothering her. When the mehendi artist arrives, Preeta goes to meet her. Rajveer tries to learn the locker password from Mahesh, but Palki asks him to choose a mehendi design for her. Rajveer refuses and walks away, leaving Palki upset.
Preeta recalls Rakhi and Kareena’s harsh words. Karan asks what is troubling her, but she lies that she is fine. He leaves, and Aarohi approaches Preeta, telling her that Karan loves Nidhi very much. Preeta calmly says that she knows this, leaving Aarohi wondering why she does not appear jealous.

Rajveer approaches Rakhi because he wants to ask her something, but he changes the subject when Mahesh appears. Rakhi remarks that the Luthra men tend to forget everything and says that sometimes she feels Rajveer could be Shaurya’s elder brother. She becomes emotional and leaves before Rajveer can ask about the locker password. Rajveer regrets missing another opportunity to get the information he needs.
Meanwhile, Shanaya asks Palki to dance with her, but Palki refuses. She confides in Shanaya about what Daljeet and Shukwinder said regarding Rajveer. Although her heart does not want to believe them, she feels that Rajveer’s recent behaviour is proving their claims right. She explains that he did not even bother to choose a mehendi design for her.
Shaurya overhears their conversation and decides to choose mehendi designs for both Palki and Shanaya. Shukwinder witnesses this and informs Daljeet that Shaurya has selected a beautiful design for Palki. Palki and Shanaya apply mehendi to their hands, while Shukwinder tells Daljeet that their plan is working. Daljeet is delighted to hear this.
Elsewhere, Rakhi asks Dadi whether she has seen Karan. Dadi shakes her head, and Rakhi explains that Preeta went to the kitchen, so she is sure Karan must have gone there too. She complains that despite Kavya’s mehendi function taking place, Karan does not seem to care about the celebrations.
Meanwhile, Karan tells Preeta that he wants to explain the difference between love and care. Preeta says she already understands, but Karan clarifies that he does not love Nidhi romantically.
