He says our youth is the future and the youth will hoist the flag. Parashar thinks where is Paragi, and hopes she don’t miss the function. Sushma asks Sanjay to get ready to hoist the flag. Vinod says you will get the chance like always. MLA announces that the flag will be hoisted with the daughter of the nation Paragi pathak. Paragi reaches there and says I have reached MLA.

Everyone claps for her. Sushma and others are shocked. Sanjay smiles and looks at her. Paragi comes to Sushma and recalls coming out of the window. She says whatever my badi mummy have done, was wrong and asks why did you lock me at home? Sanjay thinks that’s why paragi is late and gets upset with Sushma. Paragi says I got a mother after marriage. MLA welcomes Paragi on the stage and asks everyone to clap for her. Paragi says she is Paragi Pathak and says sorry, says it is my identity now. Chanda comes there with Atul and Kinkar. She says you was Paragi Parashar and will be Parashar always, your roots will be attached to your mayka. Sushma recalls Chanda getting her humiliated and gets scared.
Chanda tells Parashar that Atul checked on phone and came here. She says we shall go to stage. She goes to stage and asks MLA if she can say few words for her. She gives good wishes to everyone for republic day and says she is Paragi Pathak’s badi mummy and tells that she became Pathak later. She says I taught her and made her capable to clear UPSC. She says I used to give her almonds for faster brain, books etc and says she has to take care of her like taking care of a patient. She says I gave her everything while she was on the chair. She says she used to make her awake before sunrise and says Paragi made them famous. She says Parashar made Paragi reached here and Pathaks got UPSC bahu without doing anything. She says we have sowed the seed and made it grow, and now when the plant has grown, someone is eating the fruits. She says I don’t want to say anything now. Paragi thinks she can’t tell her anything now else Chanda will insult them further. Sushma goes from there. Sanjay goes behind her and asks if she is fine. Sushma says how can I be fine, when your place is given to someone else. Sanjay says your heart is not small. Sushma says she can’t see his insult. He says this flag is our pride and what is important is that it will be hoisted today. He says we wil leave after seeing its pride. MLA asks Paragi to hoist the flag. Paragi says I want to say something before that. baby says it seems Paragi will insult us. Nutan says she can’t be left behind to insult us.
Paragi says jai hind and says we honor the heroes of the nation today, but they are always behind the curtain. She says it is not easy for poor people to do UPSC and gives credit to Parashar for seeing UPSC dream before her, and says he has done many sacrifices for me and whatever I am today is due to him. Pramod says she is selfish not to take Sanju’s name. Paragi then tells that her husband gave hopes and wings to her talent and dedication. She says I am just the face, but actually it was Sanju, who helped me pass the test. She says I couldn’t pass the UPSC if Sanjay wouldn’t have been there with me, and says it was my fight, but Sanju fought with me, he was the only one who stood by me. She praises Sanju and thanks him for doing everything for her. She says you are thinking that I am capable to hoist the flag and it is big honor for me, but Sanjay to hoist the flag being my hero and says she is lucky to have him in her life. Everyone claps. MLA praises Paragi and say even your hidden hero shall get this honor and asks Sanjay and Paragi to hoist the flag together. Sanjay smiles. They hoist the flag together and salute.
everyone celebrating Republic day. Paragi touches her inlaws’ feet to take their blessings. She makes Sushma move the flag and hugs her. Chanda goes to Sushma and tells that her Paragi is smart and is more superior than you in cleverless. She says did you think that Paragi has ruined your respect, and says Sanjay failed in UPSC and Paragi gave this honor in charity which is more worse than begging. She says when she don’t regard me anything, then why she will regard you. She provokes her against Paragi and says first she trapped Sanjay in love and then made him failed in UPSC. She says you are a good person, and that’s why I told the truth. She smirks and thinks you didn’t miss your badi mummy, and says I have ruined it. Sushma feels insulted and angry at Paragi. Chanda and her sons walk away from there. MLA asks Paragi for pics. Paragi says she wants pics with her family. People gossip about Paragi and Pathaks. Baby tells Sushma that people talk bad about them. The photographer clicks their pic. Vinod invites MLA for Lakshmi puja. MLA says he will surely come. The photographer asks sanjay to move as he wants to click MLA’s pic with Sanjay. Paragi says she will not take pic without him. Sanjay asks her to take the pic and get down the stage.
At home, Pramod and others blame Paragi for the drama. Abhay tells that Paragi has handled everything which Chanda tried to ruined. He says we shall be happy as Paragi cleared UPSC and asks why are they having a bad thought. Pramod asks him to shut up. Abhay asks if I am saying wrong. Vinod says he is not wrong. Sushma gets upset and goes.
Nutan says you should stop Abhay and you are supporting him. Vinod says he is not wrong. Sushma comes to her room. Paragi comes there and tells that my mother left me in my childhood, and I used to make cards in school. She says today my card reached my mother and I am saying sorry to my mother in my first card and forgive my mayka. She says I know whatever happened in marriage, can’t be forgotten and asks her to forgive her for today. Sushma says this mother’s heart is broken, dye to your Tai ji, how to forget that my son failed due to you. She goes from there after handling the card to her.
Pramod tells baby that everyone is busy in Paragi and this situation is easy for us. He says we can do this in Saraswti puja and get our new project approved by MLA. Baby says the way can’t be straight and says now you can have issues with your brother, and says she can take our business in control after clearing the interview. She asks him to be careful and says this girl is very complicated.
Chanda tells Kinkar that the laddoo is tasty. Atul asks what did she tell to Sushma? Chanda says she has provoked Sushma against Paragi and says I know that she has weak ears and says our greed pot will be full now.
Paragi comes to the room and sees Thank you written on the study table. She gets glad. Sanju thanks her. Paragi apologizes to him. He asks her not to say sorry and concentrate on her interview. He says the finishing line is wonderful and asks her not to get defeated.
