Jhanak asks Beeru and Kusum not to worry because she has met Parashar and will do everything possible to get him released. However, Beeru blames her for Parashar’s arrest, while Kusum says the village has become weak since Jhanak left. Beeru reminds Jhanak that she promised to return to Simulboni after completing her studies. Jhanak assures them that she will support the villagers and help improve their lives, but Kusum points out that Parashar dedicated his entire life to the village, whereas Jhanak forgot them after moving to Kolkata. Jhanak insists that this is not true, but Kusum argues that she only returns whenever a problem arises. Jhanak reminds them that they are her own people, yet Kusum questions why she abandoned them in the first place.

Rishi asks Beeru and Kusum not to be angry, assuring them that he has spoken to a lawyer and believes they can win the case. He encourages them not to lose hope, but Beeru says it is easy for him to make promises when they are the ones suffering. He declares that nobody will be able to eat that night and reminds Jhanak that they once feared she would take Parashar’s life. He then orders her to leave, before walking away with Kusum.
Jhanak admits to Rishi that the villagers are right because she had promised to return to Simulboni after completing her studies. Rishi tells her not to feel guilty, reminding her that Parashar’s arrest is not her fault and assuring her that he will be released soon. However, Jhanak decides to stay in the village because the villagers believe she has forgotten them, and she feels responsible for making things right. Rishi asks her not to punish herself and reminds her that they had planned to travel to Purnea together. Jhanak promises to join him later and asks him to understand her situation. Rishi says he understands her decision and wants to support her, but asks her to come to him after they win the case. He then leaves.
Later, Tanushri becomes worried when Rishi fails to answer her calls. When he finally returns home, she asks where Jhanak is. Rishi explains that Jhanak has decided to remain in Simulboni. Dritimaan asks whether they had an argument, but Rishi shakes his head and explains everything that happened. Tanushri worries about how Jhanak will manage in the village, but Rishi asks her to remain calm. Sanjhbati believes Jhanak has made the right decision, while Dritimaan questions what will happen to her career. Rishi explains that helping the villagers is now Jhanak’s priority and that she will not change her decision. Dritimaan feels she is missing a major opportunity, but Dadabhai defends her, pointing out that Jhanak studied despite having very few comforts and now wants to do something meaningful for the villagers. He believes she is right to follow her heart.
Meanwhile, Jhanak feels hurt because nobody in Simulboni is willing to speak to her. Tusu explains that everyone is frightened, which is why they are keeping their distance. Jhanak insists that she must do something to help them. Tusu reminds her that Nutan used to speak in the same way. When Jhanak asks about the initiative Nutan started, Tusu explains that everything eventually fell apart. Jhanak decides that they must revive it and proposes forming a committee for the women in the village. She asks Tusu to gather the women, and Tusu leaves to do so.
Elsewhere, Rishi returns from the office and misses Jhanak. He calls her, but she does not answer. He assumes she must be busy and tells himself not to become insecure. He reflects that the burden of responsibilities can sometimes overpower love, gradually creating distance between lovers.
Meanwhile, Jhanak gathers the village women and asks whether they want to continue living under the same difficult conditions or work towards bringing change. One woman argues that nothing will change because they are poor. Jhanak encourages them to work hard and stand together if they want to improve their lives. She explains her plan to establish a committee for the women, assuring them that nobody in the village should feel alone. The women agree to support her.
Jhanak then calls Rishi, but he ignores her call. She assumes he must be angry with her and turns to Nutan’s photograph for comfort. Speaking to Nutan, she admits that she feels lonely without her. She explains that she has become a doctor and that everyone praises her achievements, yet she still feels like a failure because she could not save Nutan. Jhanak says she cannot afford to lose Parashar as well and has reached a point where she no longer cares about her own life. She also feels hurt that Rishi could not answer her call, even if it was only to scold her.
Tanushri later asks Rishi why he is still awake and whether he has spoken to Jhanak. Rishi admits that he deliberately ignored Jhanak’s calls because he wants her to understand how he felt when she left him behind. Tanushri reminds him that Jhanak is probably busy, and Rishi admits that he knows this but still misses her. Tanushri reassures him that Jhanak will never abandon him and points out that she is helping them, making him fortunate to have someone like her in his life.
Just then, Rishi receives a call from the DIG, who informs him that he has failed to report to his new posting and that an inquiry will be conducted the following day.
The next morning, Rishi calls Jhanak and updates her about the lawyer. He explains that Parashar’s case is complicated and that they must approach it practically. He asks her to gather documents and evidence proving Parashar’s good deeds. Jhanak tells him about the committee she has formed for the village women. Rishi then asks whether she has eaten, and she assures him that she has. Jhanak asks whether he is angry with her, but Rishi tells her to keep her phone nearby because the lawyer may call. He insists that he is not angry and explains that this is not the right time to discuss his feelings because they have many problems to handle. He asks her to take care of herself before ending the call.
Later, the DIG reprimands Rishi for disobeying his orders. He reminds Rishi that he is only a small part of a much larger system and accuses him of trying to become a hero by helping Parashar. Rishi defends his actions, insisting that Parashar has been falsely accused. However, the DIG argues that Rishi has allowed his emotions for Jhanak and the villagers to influence his judgement, making him a danger to the administration. Rishi maintains that he is simply fighting for justice, but the DIG reveals that he has received a complaint accusing Rishi of interfering in Parashar’s investigation. He then suspends Rishi.
Meanwhile, Athnu thanks Dadabhai for his help. Rishi becomes angry when he sees Athnu there again and scolds him for returning. Dadabhai tells Rishi not to insult their guest and reminds him that he cannot treat Athnu like a criminal. Rishi warns Athnu to stay away from Mishti, but Athnu explains that he has only come to thank Dadabhai.
Later, Jhanak receives a call from the lawyer and learns that Parashar’s bail application has been rejected. Devastated, she cries while hugging Nutan’s photograph. She tries calling Rishi, but he does not answer. She then calls Dadabhai and tells him that Rishi is not picking up her calls. Dadabhai explains that Rishi has not been behaving normally since returning from Simulboni. Jhanak says she never wanted to hurt Rishi, and Dadabhai assures her that he understands. When she reveals that Parashar’s bail has been rejected and she wanted to speak to Rishi about it, Dadabhai explains that Rishi is punishing himself for the situation. He promises to speak to Rishi on her behalf. Jhanak asks him to take care of himself before ending the call. Keep visiting blastersseries.com for fastest updates.
