The next morning, Kumud questions Prashant about Saras’ whereabouts. Prashant nods as if confirming something. Later, Kumud rings the bell at Sanjana’s house. She urgently asks Sanjana if she met Saras that day. Under Prashant’s sharp gaze, Sanjana lies, denying she ever saw him. Kumud shows her a picture, pressing her again, but Sanjana shuts the door in fear.
Kumud, confused, turns to Prashant, asking why Sanjana would deny the truth when the watchman confirmed it. Prashant recalls in flashback how he once threatened Sanjana, warning her to stay silent about Pooja or face deadly “accidents.” Returning to the present, he smoothly suggests that maybe it was some misunderstanding and they should go home to think of another way. Meanwhile, Badimaa serves breakfast to Vidyachatur. He refuses to eat until Saras is found. She tries to console him, saying Danny and Kabir are also on their way, but he blames himself for sending them. When asked to call Kumud, Badimaa resists, saying Kumud would immediately sense something is wrong. Vidyachatur remains adamant.
At the godown, Saras regains consciousness and overhears Prashant and Mahesh talking. Mahesh questions Prashant’s plan, but Prashant insists that by tonight, Kumud will be his forever. Saras struggles, thinking desperately of Kumud’s safety. Prashant enters the room to check if Saras is alive. Mahesh points out the danger of keeping him, but Prashant insists on feeding him, saying there’s a special reason he’s still alive—though he keeps it secret. Saras waits until they leave, then slowly unties himself.
Back home, Kumud receives Danny’s call and breaks down in front of Badimaa, saying Saras can’t leave her like this. Badimaa comforts her, urging her to trust her love and Lord. At that moment, Prashant appears, pretending concern. He tells Kumud that people in the market spoke of an accident victim, possibly Saras. He convinces her to come with him, while thinking to himself that this is the final game—soon Kumud will be his.
Prashant takes her to the spot and points out blood stains on a stone. Kumud panics at the sight, nearly fainting, but Prashant holds her and pretends to console her, secretly thinking she will only ever find Saras’ blood and nothing else. Just then, the inspector arrives. Kumud explains, but the officer firmly tells them no accident was reported there. Prashant quickly covers, claiming he must have heard the wrong road name.
