Saras and Kumud On Starlife Saturday 18th January 2025 Update, Saras asks Chandrika why Kusum looks sad. Chandrika hesitates, unsure of how to explain, but eventually reveals that when Saras entered the kitchen, he mistakenly thought Kusum was Kumud. Saras is surprised and laughs, realizing how easily someone could fool him by mentioning Kumud’s name.
Meanwhile, Kumari tells Umesh that she cannot come because of the Bhoomi Pujan. Umesh mentions that Ghuman visited him, offering her help for their marriage. Kumari expresses happiness about Ghuman’s support, stating that she feels like a daughter to her. Umesh encourages her to accept Ghuman’s help and visit him.
Ghuman approaches Kumari and urges her not to keep Umesh waiting. She promises to inform everyone that she sent Kumari, which makes Kumari happy. Ghuman smirks, planning to see how Dugba, Kumari’s mother, will face the world after her daughter is supported by her.
As Kumari walks in the village, a car splashes dirty water on her. She angrily confronts the driver, who apologizes and offers her a napkin. Their exchange escalates into an argument, and he offers to drop her home, insisting he is genuinely sorry. Kumari, initially resistant, eventually agrees to ride with him. While in the car, he casually asks for her name, but she brushes it off. She shares details about Kumud, mentioning that she was the first to graduate and received a proposal from Dubai from Mr. Saraswatichandra, which surprises him as he recognizes Saras’s name.
At home, Vidyachatur is urging everyone to get ready, while Badimaa wonders about Kumari’s whereabouts. Ghuman keeps quiet, holding the information to herself. When Kumari arrives, covered in mud, everyone is shocked. Badimaa questions her about her condition, and Kumari explains that she met someone on the way. Danny then enters the house, and Ghuman’s excitement is palpable as she hugs him tightly, expressing her eagerness to see him.
Saras greets Danny warmly, and they engage in playful banter. Danny asks about his bhabhi (sister-in-law), joking that she might like him more than Saras does. Saras admits he sent Kumud away to give them some time together. Vidyachatur encourages everyone to leave for the Bhoomi Pujan, while Ghuman asks Danny how he met Kumari. He reveals that he inadvertently got her clothes dirty with his car, prompting laughter from the group.
As they prepare to leave, Saras ponders how the puja will feel complete without Kumud. Just then, a car pulls up, and everyone smiles as Kumud steps out. Saras rushes to her, overjoyed that she decided to come. She explains that Badimaa encouraged her to attend, which Badimaa acknowledges, stating she knew Saras wouldn’t be happy without Kumud by his side. Saras expresses gratitude and hopes they can take their mother’s blessings together.
Danny gifts Saras a memory from their childhood, recalling how he used to borrow his clothes. They reminisce about their past while Kumud arrives, making Saras smile. Danny asks Kumud who is more handsome, to which she playfully replies it’s him, knowing Saras won’t mind. He compliments her beauty, addressing her as “Bhabhi,” which makes Kumud smile. He gifts her a Ganesh idol, and they discuss potential gifts for her, including a long skirt.
Ghuman suddenly interrupts, taunting Kumud about her clothing choices, implying that wearing western clothes in Dubai would force them to hide. The episode closes with Saras looking visibly annoyed at Ghuman’s remarks.
Ghuman taunts Kumud, saying she can’t wear traditional Ghagras in Dubai, which Saras overhears. While Danny laughs it off, Kumud feels hurt and leaves.
Later, Kusum and Kumari browse designer magazines, imagining Kumud in modern attire. They tease her about becoming “Ms. Dubai” and suggest a makeover, but Kumud prefers her traditional style. Despite their encouragement, she refuses to change her look or cut her hair.
Meanwhile, Saras gifts Kumud something special, telling her to wear it in private. Though she initially thinks he wants her to change, he reassures her, saying he loves her for who she is. Touched, Kumud agrees to try it on, and they share a sweet, intimate moment.
At the dining table, Gyaan praises Guniyal’s cooking while Ghuman criticizes the use of ghee, contrasting it with Dubai’s diet. Saras, however, appreciates the food, making Ghuman visibly annoyed. Vidyachatur teases Danny about Kumud cooking for him in Dubai, and Kumud smiles shyly as Saras beams at her.
Kumari’s Conflict
Kumari speaks to her father, who expresses concern about her future and mentions her upcoming marriage to Umesh. Badimaa overhears and interrupts the call, leaving Kumari uneasy.

Kumud prepares veg kababs for Laxminandan, but Ghuman intervenes, saying fried food is unhealthy. Despite Kumud’s insistence, Ghuman tries to impose her own dietary rules, causing tension. Badimaa supports Kumud, but Ghuman dismisses her efforts.

Saras and Kumud
Saras repeatedly calls Kumud but finds her phone unattended. Kusum informs him that Kumud is in the kitchen. Later, Saras finally speaks to Kumud and playfully insists on seeing her. As they talk, Kumud accidentally burns her hand. Saras, concerned, asks her to send a photo of her injury.
