Saras and Kumud On Starlife Friday 24th January 2025 Update, Kumud tries on red bangles and smiles while looking at the mirror. She says, “I’m feeling shy; how can I send photos?” She looks for her mobile. Saras is waiting for Kumud’s photos. He gets a photo of a cow (LOL!). He thinks it might be a mistake. Then, he gets silly photos of animals. Danny and Kusum are laughing. Kumud comes there, asking for her phone. She says, “You both have done something.” They both run. Kumud sees her phone and the photos. She smiles and thinks about what Saras’s reaction might be. She decides to take her photo in her room.

Saras is still waiting. Laxminandan comes and asks why he looks worried. Saras says, “I’m fine.” Laxminandan tells him about another important meeting lined up for tomorrow and asks him to make a good presentation.
Kumud takes her photos, thinking of different angles, and clicks pictures. She remembers Saras’s words. She looks at the moon, talks to it, and then closes the window before taking more pictures. She sends them to Saras. He receives them and watches them on his laptop. Kumud says a few poetic lines for him. He is happy to see her photos and smiles, staring at them. She says, “Come soon.” She takes a photo of her bangles and sends it to him. He sees it and smiles (Gleeeeee!!!!).
She says, “My breath is taking your name. Come soon.” He touches her photos and feels them. Ghuman enters and watches him staring at Kumud’s photos. She thinks, “This is the preparation for the presentation? Great.”
Laxminandan talks to his client and says Saras is ready with the presentation. Ghuman goes to Laxminandan and tells him Saras has to give the presentation. Laxminandan is getting ready and asks if Saras is prepared. He also asks about Saras’s medication. Ghuman says Saras has changed. She adds, “He is sleeping, dreaming about Kumud.”
Laxminandan defends Saras, saying, “Saras has made himself more even in my eyes. He is sleeping peacefully, and he will give a good presentation. You watch.” He leaves. Ghuman says, “I will not be happy for Saras. I will try to make him alone again” (Bitchy Duck!!).
The scene shifts to Kumud:
Kusum and Kumud are arranging a video chat. The sisters have a light talk, and Kusum teases Kumud. Kusum says, “How can I get a husband like Saras?” They both make a bet. Vidyachatur comes and talks to Laxminandan and Saras. Vidyachatur says, “We have sent invitations to our relatives.” He asks how many people will come from Dubai with them. They have a marriage-related discussion on the video chat. Guniyal says, “We will do everything. You bring the baaraat soon.”
Kumud tells her mother that she is going to school. Badimaa stops her. Kumud says, “I’m going for the last time.” Her mother says, “Invite everyone at home so that you can talk.” They give her permission to go but on the condition that she applies uptan.
The kids come to Kumud, and she asks, “What are you doing here?” They say they came to meet her. She says, “I’m glad to see you all.” Kumud tells them, “I’m going to Dubai, and I will bring computers and chocolates for you.” They say, “Okay, go soon and bring computers for us.” They bring a gift for Kumud. She opens it and sees a Maa Saraswati idol. Kumud smiles and says, “This gift will be with me always.”
The scene shifts to Saras:
Saras gets hiccups and thinks, “Kumud might be thinking about me.” He calls Kumud, and she says, “I was thinking about you.” He says, “I know. I was getting hiccups.” She says, “It will stop now.” It doesn’t. She says, “Someone else might be thinking about you.” He says, “Yes, 800 girls emailed me after my engagement, asking me to break it.” She says, “Send me the emails. I will reply to them so they forget you.”
His hiccups stop. He says, “Maybe the girls feared you.” She says, “My school kids gave me a Saraswati Maa idol. They don’t know this name is linked to me for a lifetime.” He says, “You know, come soon to me.” She says, “Come back and take me with you.” Mann Ke Dor plays.
He asks, “Which colour do you like the most?” Kumud says, “Red.” He asks, “Which fabric do you like?” Kumud says, “Silk.” She smiles. He asks, “Which furniture do you like, wooden or metal?” She says, “Metal.” She asks, “Why are you asking this?” He says, “I will tell you later.” He says, “I have to go to the meeting. Catch you later.”
She says, “I forgot I will be going away from my home.” Kumud gets sad.
Kumud hears Vidyachatur asking Kusum to do the math. Kusum says, “Ask Kumud to do it.” Kumud sees this and cries. She goes toward Badimaa’s room. Badimaa is scolding Kumari. She talks about Kumud. Kumud cries further.
Badimaa asks Kumari to learn from Kumud. Kumud looks at her house and thinks of her childhood. Her memories are attached to the house.
Guniyal is talking about Kusum and Kumud. Kumud comes to her mother and hears her talk. She feels sad. Her mother sees her crying and asks what happened. Kumud says, “Maa, you all are preparing for my departure, but how will I manage? What will I do when I wake up in the morning and won’t be in my room? When I step outside, I won’t see you. How will I leave from here?” Her mother says, “You will be with Saras, and it will be much better than here. We won’t be there, but you will have new relations. This will bring happiness, and you won’t feel that you left us.”
Badimaa, Kusum, and Kumari arrive. Kumud hugs her mother and Badimaa and cries.
Scene shifts to Saras:
Saras is making changes to his room. He says, “How does our room look?” He has many photos of Kumud on the wall. He says, “Mrs. Kumud Saraswatichandra Vyas (Long name, shorten it, please… LOL!).” He goes online, and they have a video chat. Kumud says, “My laptop is charged.” Saras replies, “I want to give you a surprise,” and shows her the room.
She sees it and feels happy. Looking at her photos, she smiles. Saras asks, “How is it?” She says, “More beautiful than my dreams.” He responds, “You said you like red color and metal furniture, so how can you like this? I know you were lying.” She asks, “How did you know?” He says, “You like peaceful colors, and I know you love your home. That’s why I made wooden furniture, like you have at home.”
Kumud says, “Now I know how much you love me and how well you understand me.” Saras replies, “Yes, I see my life through your eyes. I want to give you every happiness. You are in my heart just like every corner of this room. If you want, see into my heart.” Kumud smiles.
The video chat is about to end. Kumud says, “The battery is about to die. You won’t be able to see or hear me.” Saras says, “No, you live in me.” (Wow… What a superb line! Saras, you are leaving us spellbound with your amazing acting.) The battery dies. Kumud touches her screen, thinking of what Saras said. Saras also touches his laptop screen while looking at her photo.
Guniyal comes to Kumud and says, “Food is ready. Let’s go.” Kumud says, “Maa, I don’t fear now. I’m going with someone who knows me better than myself, someone who cares about my happiness and sadness.” Her mother hugs her.
Scene shifts to the hall:
The next morning, everyone is having breakfast. Badimaa says Guniyal is keeping a Karwachauth fast. Kumud is about to eat but stops when she hears about its importance. Vidyachatur and Guniyal share a light moment. Kumud thinks, “Maybe you are far away, but you will see my love in my fast.” Kumud leaves.
Badimaa asks, “Where are you going?” Kumud makes an excuse and leaves.
Scene shifts to Ghuman:
Ghuman is deciding on food. Laxminandan asks, “What’s special today?” Ghuman says, “Today is Karwachauth.” (Ghuman and Laxminandan are like romantic oldies. LOL!) Laxminandan tells her not to fast, as he knows how much she loves him. (Sometimes, Ghuman looks a bit caring towards Laxminandan.)
Saras hears this and says, “I love being hungry for Kumud’s sake.” (Hungry in what sense? Heh… silly line.)
Laxminandan asks Saras to have food. Saras says, “No, I’m not hungry.” Laxminandan asks, “Are you fasting?” Saras denies it and adds, “Why would I?” Laxminandan reminds him of the merger. Saras says, “How could I forget? I’m going to make your dream come true tomorrow.”
Scene shifts to Kumud:
Kusum is tasting pickles and asks Kumud to try them. Kumud declines. Kusum asks, “Are you keeping the fast for Saras?” Kumud denies it, then admits, “Yes.” Kusum teases her, saying, “I’ll tell Saras.” Kumud pleads, “No, don’t tell him.”
Kumud adds, “Badimaa says this increases love in couples.” Danny overhears and thinks, “They both love each other.”
Scene shifts to Saras:
Saras is talking to Kumud’s photo, saying he’s fasting for her. Sunny comes in and jokes, “You’ve become sensitive since returning from India.” He offers green tea, but Saras refuses. Sunny says, “Oh, it’s Karwachauth. I know you love Kumud a lot, but dude, only women fast.” (Thanks for the info, Sunny. We had no idea… LOL!)
Saras replies, “I wish for Kumud’s well-being.” Sunny says, “I didn’t think that way. I don’t love Ayesha as much as you love Kumud.”
Scene shifts to Kumud:
Kumud calls Saras, but he’s busy in a board meeting. He steps out to answer. She asks, “Why do you sound like you haven’t eaten anything?” Saras says, “I was in a conference.”
He then asks, “Did you eat?” She lies, saying, “Yes.” He says, “Liar! Danny told me you kept the fast.” (The word ‘liar’ sounds cute coming from Saras. Keep saying it!) Kumud admits, “Yes, I kept the fast because I think of you as my husband.”
Saras says, “I need to fast for you too.” Kumud replies, “I don’t need that. I want to live with you, near you.” Saras promises, “I won’t leave you.”
She says, “I’ll break my fast by looking at your photo.” He says, “When you see my photo, I’ll come into existence for you.”
