Saras and Kumud On Starlife Thursday 23rd January 2025 Update, The episode starts with a scene in Dubai. Saras greets Laxminandan with a good morning. They discuss their business. Laxminandan says the clients want to merge with some company in Dubai, and he wants that company to be theirs. Saras says it will be theirs, and Laxminandan asks him to prepare a good presentation for the clients. He adds that Saras got this opportunity after his engagement to Kumud and says she will be prosperous for him. Saras leaves.

Scene shifts to Kumud:
Kumud reads the message on the kite written by Saras. She hugs the kite and says, “I will not let anything of yours go away from me.” She sees a plane, and Badimaa comes to her, noticing her looking at the plane. Badimaa says, “Kumud, in a few days, we will also look at you like this, going with Saras.” Badimaa adds, “I can read your face. You are missing him, right? He left suddenly, so are you annoyed? You both couldn’t talk, that’s why you’re sad. He must be in the same position; he will call you soon.” Kumud smiles and hugs Badimaa.
Danny bumps into Kumari. She sees his cigarette, and he says, “I don’t smoke, just sometimes.” She says, “I will not tell anyone.” Danny replies, “You cannot say because your big secret is with me.” Kumari says, “Don’t try to scare me. If you want to tell everyone, then go and tell.” Danny says, “I was just joking. I’m sorry.” Kumari leaves, and Danny calls her, but she does not stop.
Scene shifts to Saras:
Saras is working in his office and thinking about Kumud, wondering what she might be doing. He decides to call her. Kumud runs to her room when she hears the ringtone. She answers the call. He says, “You were waiting to talk to me.” She replies, “Now you got time to call me. You are not missing me.” He says, “It’s not like that. It was late yesterday, so I didn’t call, and in the morning, I was busy with office work.” She says, “If you are so busy, you could have called later.” He responds, “I had to call you because my focus is on you.” Kumud smiles.
He continues, “Kumud, I have your photo on my laptop’s screen.” She says, “I don’t even have a photo. You left suddenly.” He says, “Look at the sky.” She looks up. He says, “The land is different, but we share the same sky.” Kumud stays silent, and Saras asks, “Are you crying?” She says, “No.” Saras tells her, “I told you to wait for me with dreams, not with tears.”
Kumud says, “I’m not crying. The weather is good; maybe it will rain.” He says, “I told the clouds to go and make my Kumud’s mood good, and that she should not cry.” He tells her he will call again after finishing his work. She agrees, saying she will stay awake till he calls. She looks at the sky and smiles.
Scene shifts to Umesh:
Kumari’s father is with Umesh and tells him that Saras has stopped his marriage. Umesh says he will write an FIR against Saras and have him arrested. They plan to get Kumari back. The constable informs Umesh that Saras is not in the village and has returned to Dubai. Umesh says, “When you come back with the baaraat, I will stop your marriage.”
Scene shifts to Kumud:
It’s night, and she is checking the time, thinking Saras might be finishing his work. Saras is busy working. He keeps reminders on his phone. Kumud waits for his call, looking at the moon and thinking the call might come any moment. Saras is still working. He looks at the time and calls her, but the call does not connect. Kumud is sleeping by then. He decides not to disturb her and ends his work before going to sleep.
The next morning, Kumud wakes up and says, “He did not call till now. Shall I call him or give him a missed call?” She calls him. Saras is getting ready. He calls her back and asks, “Didn’t you go to school?” She asks, “Are you fine?” He says, “Yes, I will call you later.”
Kumud says, “Okay.” He asks, “What happened?” She says, “I was waiting for your call.” He is shocked. She adds, “I didn’t know you won’t have time for me.” He says, “It’s not like that.” She says, “I can wait for you my whole life.” He says, “Now our lives will be one.”
Ghuman sees Saras talking with Kumud. Saras says, “Sorry, Kumud. I will call you daily throughout the day.” Kumud says, “Okay.” Ghuman thinks Saras might not go to the airport to receive the client. She leaves.
Later, Ghuman comes home, and Laxminandan asks her where she went. She says, “I went for Saras’s work. He didn’t go to receive the client. He was talking to Kumud and has become careless in work.” She adds, “It’s good I went on time. The client was asking about you and Saras.” Ghuman wishes for the deal and says Saras and Kumud will be responsible if the deal does not happen.
Ghuman talks to Laxminandan, saying Saras and Kumud will be responsible if the deal does not happen. Laxminandan feels happy and says, “Ghuman, do you remember I told you a right life partner can change Saras? This is really happening. Saras is giving space to Kumud.”
Ghuman says, “That is right, but the client would not have given the deal if I had not reached the airport.”
Laxminandan replies, “Saras will give a good presentation. Let the kids enjoy their romance.”
Ghuman thinks, I did not think Laxminandan would go blind in Saras’s love. I will plan and make his love fade.
Scene shifts to Kumud:
Kusum is talking with her mum and Badimaa. Chandrika is also making plans for the wedding. Kumari enters and remembers what Ghuman told her. She comes to them and says she will also help.
Badimaa says, “Are you fine? You are doing the work without anyone telling you to.” Everyone smiles. Badimaa notices a change in Kumari.
Scene shifts to Saras:
Laxminandan and Sunny meet the client, who says, “Saras did not come; your wife came to pick us up.” They ask for Saras and proceed to the conference room.
Saras arrives and starts the presentation. He impresses the client, who praises Saras’s company. The client says, “Maybe another company would give us the same technology, so why should we merge?”
Saras speaks confidently, saying, “We complete the dreams, and it’s a big responsibility.”
The client responds, “We give you the deal, and we can merge.”
Laxminandan smiles and introduces Saras to the clients, saying, “He is my son, and he is responsible for the company’s success.”
The client adds, “Our merger will create history in the construction business.”
Scene shifts to Kumud:
Kumud recites poetic lines and wonders when to share her poem with Saras. Kusum, Badimaa, and her mum enter.
Kusum says, “You are always on your laptop.”
Kumud replies, “I’m doing school work.”
Badimaa says, “We will apply uptan to your face.”
Kumud says, “I don’t like it.”
Kusum teases, “Kumud will not let us apply it, and she doesn’t need it because Saras always eyes her.”
Kumud smiles, seeing Saras’s messages. She asks Kusum to take Badimaa and Guniyal away. Kusum makes excuses but eventually leaves with them.
Saras and Kumud have a video chat. She feels happy seeing him. She says, “I have written something for you,” and tells him her poem.
Saras listens patiently and says, “Our love will not change. I don’t have any doubt or fear now. I want to see that trust in your eyes. Our relationship will be complete after marriage. Till then, I want to live these moments with you.”
Kumud asks him about the presentation. He says it went very well. She congratulates him, and he says, “Not like this. You have to gift me.”
She asks, “What do you want?”
He says, “Kumud, call me by my name once, please.”
She says, “That’s a big gift, and I will take your name when you come here.”
He says, “There’s still time.”
She replies, “I’ll send you another gift – my photos.”
He says, “Yes, send them. I’ll see them.”
She agrees, saying, “Now go.”
He says, “Okay, bye.”
They end the video chat.
Kusum comes with oil and uptan. Kumud thinks she will look good after the uptan effect. Kusum teases her.
Meanwhile, Kusum notices Kumud’s phone and takes it.
Badimaa appears worried. Guniyal asks what happened.
Badimaa says, “I feel like Kumari is hiding something. She looks changed. She is helping us.”
Guniyal says, “You should be happy about this.”
Badimaa says, “It feels like she has a burden.”
Vidyachatur comes and gives a guest list, asking Badimaa to check it.
Kusum goes to Danny with Kumud’s phone. They talk about Kumud and Saras’s romance. Danny jokes that Saras is waiting for Kumud’s photo, but they will send a different one.
Danny takes a cow’s photo, and they both laugh.
Scene shifts to Saras:
Saras is waiting for Kumud’s photo. Sunny comes and teases him, asking, “Don’t you get tired of chatting so much?”
Saras says, “No, I love her.”
Sunny says, “What?”
Saras replies, “I’m waiting for the photos.”
Sunny asks, “Whose photos?”
Saras jokes, “An architect is sending me photos.”
Sunny laughs and says, “On the phone?”
Saras laughs and says, “These days, I do everything on the phone.”
Scene shifts to Kumud:
Kumud gets ready to take the photo. She smiles, wearing her engagement ring. Mann ke dor… plays.
She wears the red bangles Saras gave her and remembers the moment he kissed her palm. She smiles, recalling those memories.
