Ranbir jumps in, saying he has always seen Zoravar insulting their mom.

Zoravar scolds Meher and walks away. Meher, breaking down, says she’s tired of his behavior and questions what her mistake is. Diljot tells her not to listen to Zoravar, but Meher loses her cool. Ranbir tries to pacify her.
Meher fears that Zoravar will insult her in front of the new bahu. Balveer assures her that he won’t let that happen. Arjun agrees, saying they can’t overlook Zoravar’s mistakes. Meher breaks down in tears and hugs Ranbir.
Meanwhile, Chandan mentions that Meghla didn’t come for dinner. Mahua says they didn’t send her an invitation—she never comes unless she’s called. She tells Adrija to call Meghla, but Adrija refuses and argues.
Mahua goes herself to call Meghla. Meghla, lost in thoughts of Ranbir, refuses to come. She insists that it’s just weakness and nothing else. Mahua confronts her, saying she’s been hearing that excuse for two days, and asks what’s really wrong.
Meghla admits she always wanted Ranbir and Adrija to get married. Mahua urges her to come and have food. Chandan asks how she is feeling now. Meghla says she’s fine, just feeling weak.
Adrija asks why she isn’t eating. Meghla says she doesn’t feel like eating and only wants soup. Mahua brings her some vegetable soup. Mahua and Chandan argue.
