Mea culpa episode 4 started with Laila ground mother telling Laila’s Mom that the woman who stole Laila doesn’t have any relative but Laila’s Mom said they didn’t see Laila’s body that means she’s not dead so she’s not giving up. Bosch wanted them to take Laila back to her mother but no one agreed even juris because she has gotten a daughter now . Greco told Bosch not to mention that case because they are done talking about this case.

Laila’s ground mother begged Fina Laila’s Mom to forgive her but Fina told her not to blame herself because she’s not the one who kidnapped Laila and she’s not going to give up looking for her as long as she’s alive. The friends asked Bosch what he can do about it and he said that the group has already decided so what can he do.
Fina visit her son Noah and promised that after she has graduated she will come back for him. Fina graduated and thanked her teacher for all the support they have given her. Noah guessed what Laila is now and if she will remember him as her brother, his mom promised him to find his sister sooner. Juris father went to Drei’s office to give Laila to him but he wasn’t there, his mother was. Drei’s mom insisted on looking after Laila but he didn’t give Laila to her.
Fina gave a speech on how she has suffered in her life and congratulated all the graduates. Drei’s mom hugged Drei and started talking about what she has achieved, Bosch from nowhere entered the room so Drei went out to talk to him. Bosch wasn’t taking it anymore so he asked Drei to turn himself in.
Drei called all the friends excluding Bosch and talked about what Bosch said. They asked where he is now, Drei said he told him to go and rest so they thought of calling him before he reveals their secret. Noah was said when he saw other family going to have their meal at the restaurant. Fina encouraged him to work hard on his studies and she will also get proper job so one day they will also have their meal at the restaurant with Laila.
Juris told Bosch to go for vacation because he’s stressed out. He didn’t agree to that start to ask Drei that didn’t we made a decision, I’m going to tell the truth. Greco told him to be careful because that would affect all of them but he insisted telling the truth so Greco started fighting him threatened him . Juris separated them from fighting.
When Bosch went home,he kept watching Fina’s video and heard someone knocking his door. All the friends couldn’t stop thinking about what Bosch said. Juris father asked her if there’s a problem because she seems to be worried. Juris lied to her father this time too. Gaylord came to juris crying for Bosch is dead.
Before Bosch was about to die,he called Fina to come to his house he wanted to reveal the secret to her. When she reached there he was already dead. Drei requested them to speak out if they know anything about Bosch dead. Gaylord blamed Greco because he threatened Bosch. Lolita also blamed juris because she didn’t want them to send Laila away. Juris encouraged them to be one and not blaming themselves. One of the inspector saw Fina wanting to meet Bosch so he asked her why she wanted to meet him.
Fina showed him the times Bosch has called her wanting to tell her where her missing daughter is and asked the inspector to help her find the person who killed Bosch. All the friends shared their condolences to Bosch and decided not to let that happen again. Juris father saw how juris was afraid when she saw Fina on the television.
Juris told his father that Laila is the child they are talking on the television. Bosch bother thanked the remaining five friends and requested them to help him to find the person who killed Bosch. All the rest of the friends offered their condolences to Bosch, which it was juris turn she saw Fina and was shock to see her there.
When she finished Fina asked if Bosch has revealed any secret about her daughter. They ignored her questions and pretended as if they don’t know what she saw talk about. They planned to hand the case to Greco so that they won’t be guilty.
