Marriage For Duty On ZeeWorld Wednesday 7th January 2026 Update, Raghav tries to help Reet by tying the dori, but Reet says boys can’t do it. He cuts the doris with scissors, and Reet scolds him. Raghav tells her she’s Mrs. Suryavanshi, and if one dress is ruined, it’s not the end of the world. He leaves, and Reet smiles, repeating “Mrs. Suryavanshi.”

Sharda says she knows Reet is trying to learn the truth but she has foiled it. She crumples the bill related to Neeta’s locket and replaces it with a new one under a different name. Sharda says she will not let Reet learn that Neeta is Raghav’s mother until Neeta dies.
Dhruv asks Reet why she came late. Reet says the situation didn’t favor her. Dhruv is about to tell her that he met Neeta earlier and she gifted him the locket for Unnati, but the nurse stops their conversation. They go to meet Neeta.
Unnati comes home to meet Raghav, but Sharda stops her and asks what happened. Unnati says she learned that Neeta’s health is not good and came to talk to Raghav about his opinion. Sharda says Raghav doesn’t like Neeta, so talking to him is useless. Unnati agrees. Sharda notices Neeta’s locket with Unnati and tells her she will give her five modern lockets, trying to take the original locket from her.
Raghav calls Unnati, and she hurriedly goes to meet him. Sharda stops the vase, which injures Unnati’s feet. She takes the locket from Unnati before Raghav sees it. Raghav takes Unnati to the hospital, while Sharda thinks she will not let Neeta and Raghav unite.
The doctor asks Reet and Dhruv to find a donor quickly as Neeta’s condition is deteriorating. Raghav brings Unnati to the hospital, and the doctor takes her to the ward for dressing. Raghav sees Neeta in the hospital and tells her, while she is unconscious, that she is getting the punishment for hurting them in childhood. He says he hates the word “Mom” and the relationships because of her.
Raghav tells Neeta that he gave Unnati all the love in the world, but he could never erase the bitterness in her heart. He says because of it, Unnati has hurt many people to get love.
Reet and Dhruv enter Neeta’s room. Reet comments to Dhruv about how a son can be so far from his mother. Raghav thinks in his heart that the fault may lie with the mother. Suddenly, Neeta has an attack, and Dhruv goes to call the doctor.
Viren comes to Sharda’s room and finds her performing last rites for Neeta. He reminds her Neeta is alive, but Sharda says she is just making sure by doing the Pooja. Viren says until Raghav donates bone marrow, Neeta will not survive. Sharda reminds him that Unnati might also donate. Viren asks if Unnati knows Neeta’s condition. Sharda says she only knows Neeta is ill, not that she has blood cancer. Viren comments that by the time Unnati knows, Neeta will be dead.
The doctor checks Neeta. Reet asks about her condition. The doctor says they already told her and asks her to bring Neeta’s son quickly, or she doesn’t have much time left. Reet asks how much time she has, and the doctor replies, one day at most. Raghav overhears this.
Unnati walks in the hospital corridor, sees Neeta on a stretcher, and learns from a nurse that Neeta has blood cancer. She cries to herself. Reet and Dhruv ask Unnati why she is crying. Unnati tries to explain her relationship with Neeta, but Raghav interrupts and takes her away.
Unnati asks Raghav why he didn’t tell her Neeta is fighting for her life. Raghav says Neeta isn’t really their mother, commenting in his heart. Reet prays to God for Neeta’s wellbeing, asking Him to send Neeta’s son soon. Raghav is shown stuck in traffic. A kid comes to him, asking Raghav to save his mother and pledges to follow his instructions. Raghav recalls Neeta’s words about doing good deeds and promises to help the kid.
Viren tells Sharda that the compounder he hired confirmed Neeta only has 24 hours left unless she gets bone marrow from her son. Sharda says it’s good news, noting that Raghav is supposedly leaving for Delhi.
Raghav sees a coconut, remembering the boy’s words, and understands what to do. The kid thanks Raghav for calling the doctor and gives him the coconut as a blessing, saying it is auspicious. Raghav takes it.
Reet goes to her room, sees Raghav’s clothes, folds them, and puts them in the cupboard. She finds a box and opens a letter written by Raghav for his mother. Raghav says he made a bracelet for Neeta during summer camp and asks her to always wear it. Reet wonders why he loves his mother yet hates her so much now. She hides the letter and the bead when Raghav enters.
Raghav notices his clothes are folded and asks Reet where they are. Reet tells him she put them in the cupboard. He asks for her help packing, but she thinks he will see the letter and initially refuses. Later, they get tangled by threads while helping, and Raghav says they shouldn’t help each other since it always causes trouble. Reet says at least they try to help. She notices he wants to help but is forcing himself not to. Raghav brushes it off.
Sharda enters, offering to help Raghav pack, but he refuses. Sharda leaves, thinking she only came to check if he really intends to go to Delhi since Neeta has one day left.
The next day, Sharda prepares for a Pooja. Unnati tells her that everyone in the Chowdary house is sad and if Neeta doesn’t get a bone marrow transplant today, she will die. She says she will donate her marrow, but Sharda reminds her she is pregnant and can’t donate.
Raghav is shown leaving for Delhi. Reet gets into an auto to buy flowers for the Pooja. Unnati dreams of revealing the truth about her fake pregnancy and her desire to donate to Neeta, but fears the Chowdary family will hate her.
The auto driver drops Reet at the flower market, notices her worry, and advises her to perform a ritual at the temple for answers. Reet thanks him and begins the ritual. Meanwhile, Sharda performs Pooja at home, thinking no one can save Neeta now.
Raghav notices the coconut in the car, remembers the boy’s words, and urgently tells the driver to go to the hospital. He enters the operation room, announcing he is Neeta’s son and ready to donate his bone marrow.
At the temple, Reet completes 500 rounds holding a lit lamp but collapses from exhaustion. Devotees rush to help. Raghav, holding the coconut, recalls childhood moments with Neeta.
Reet prays earnestly to Maata Rani to save Neeta. A flower falls as a blessing. Shortly after, Reet receives a call from the hospital confirming Neeta’s son has arrived to save her. She feels overjoyed relief.
However, Unnati misunderstands and assumes the worst, collapsing in devastation thinking she has lost her mother forever.
Reet rushes to the hospital and learns the surgery has begun. Spotting a bracelet, she grows suspicious. Dhruv tells her Neeta gave the same bracelet to Unnati. Determined, Reet enters the operation room.
