Marriage For Duty On ZeeWorld Friday 26th December 2025 Update, Reet asks who locked the door from outside. She soon notices a snake on the floor. Reet grabs a stick to defend herself and starts looking around the room for the snake.

Anuradha prays to God, hoping for Reet and Dhruv’s safety. She notices the Diya has blown off and fears it is a bad omen.
Reet tries to hit the snake but misses. The pandit asks the bride and groom to sit for the Pooja. Raghav looks around but doesn’t see Reet. He asks his family where she is. Pratik suggests that Reet might not want to witness Poonam’s happiness. Sharda says they should forgive Reet since Raghav already has.
Anuradha calls Raghav to ask where Reet is. Raghav says she must be somewhere nearby and promises to make her talk to Anuradha. She agrees.
Raghav searches for Reet and hears her shouting. He unlocks the storeroom door.
Reet warns Raghav not to enter, saying there is a snake inside. Raghav says that’s impossible. Reet shows him a trail of snake on the flour. Raghav insists there is no snake and asks her to give him her hand. Reet climbs down from the table. While leaving with her, a snake bites Raghav’s hand.
Raghav, now outside the storeroom, tells Reet he’s been bitten and loses consciousness.
Reet calls for help but no one comes because of the Dhol sound. She decides to suck the poison out of Raghav to save him. After she does, Raghav regains consciousness. Reet tells him she sucked the poison out, then loses consciousness herself.
Raghav reaches his family and says Reet was bitten, asking them to call a doctor. Later, he informs Anuradha over the phone that Reet is safe. She thanks him. Raghav says it was Reet who saved his life.
Back with his family, Raghav wonders how the snake entered and who locked Reet inside. Sharda says it’s auspicious for a snake to appear on Maha Shivaratri and suggests one of the servants may have locked the storeroom by mistake.
Sharda says preparations for Maha Shivaratri Pooja should continue. Reet agrees. Raghav tells her to rest while others manage arrangements. Sharda leaves to call Pooja to their home.
Viren asks Sharda if she thinks Raghav is taking good care of Reet. She comments on it and asks if Viren put the snake in the storeroom. He denies it and leaves.
That night, Poonam tells Viren she liked the surprise, and he flirts with her. Divya tells Pratik that they are the most unromantic couple in the house. Pratik notices Reet and Raghav and thinks they are number one. Raghav helps Reet to the hall.
Reet sees her family and tries to move, but her doree loosens. Raghav holds her. Anuradha asks if she is okay. Reet says she is fine. Unnati asks Raghav if he won’t hug her today. Raghav says today he will just be Reet’s bodyguard.
Suman asks Reet what happened. Reet explains about the snake in the storeroom. Meanwhile, Raghav sneakily ties Reet’s blouse lace while she talks.
Pavan, the servant, delivers Pooja’s pen drive and places it on the kitchen counter before leaving. Reet makes sweets and leaves. The envelope falls to the floor.
Unnati sees the envelope and goes to check it. Sharda stops her and asks her to go to Dhruv instead, saying she is looking for him. Unnati agrees.
Sharda picks up the envelope, thinking of sending it to the right person.
Reet finds the envelope in the kitchen and sees the pen drive inside. She tries to play it on a laptop. Dhruv asks Reet to make more dessert for everyone, and she agrees. He watches the video and learns how Unnati framed him and married him.
Unnati calls the hospital and learns about the pen drive sent to Reet. She searches for Reet, sees the empty envelope, and approaches her, saying she wants to talk alone.
Dhruv announces to the family that he will play a video of his marriage with Unnati, calling it “Deception, Cheating, etc.” The video shows Unnati giving money to Dhruv’s friend to make him drink an intoxicant and then creating a fake video of Dhruv.
Dhruv blames Unnati for destroying his life and Reet’s life as collateral. Unnati stays silent when Raghav asks her if it’s true. Reet pleads for her to lie, but Unnati says Reet couldn’t stay silent and had to expose her. Raghav reacts to Unnati’s words.
Dhruv also blames Raghav for Reet’s troubles. Pratik tells Unnati that Raghav has always given her what she wanted, and she could have asked him for Dhruv. Unnati denies making a huge mistake and asks Sharda to clarify to everyone. Sharda says Unnati has left nothing out.
Dhruv asks Raghav to handle Unnati. He tells Reet they should leave. Unnati says she will come with him. Dhruv warns her that if she steps forward, no one will face worse consequences. He tells Reet she doesn’t need to remain in this marriage. Anuradha asks what he means. Viren and Sharda agree that Reet no longer needs to stay as a guarantee wife. Dhruv takes Reet and leaves.
Sharda’s husband asks Unnati if she ever thought about what would happen once Raghav finds out the truth. Raghav tells him he is responsible for Unnati’s mistakes and no one else should be blamed. He leaves.
The Chowdary family returns home. Reet tries to calm Anuradha, but she says Unnati has left deep wounds on Dhruv, and it won’t be easy for him to recover. She asks Reet to talk to Dhruv.
Reet meets Dhruv. He apologizes to her, saying he didn’t know about Unnati’s true character and wanted to marry her with chivalry. He blames himself for Reet’s ruined life.
Raghav thinks about Reet. Unnati approaches Raghav, asking him to fix what happened. He asks her what she means. Unnati says Dhruv should be happy since a rich, beautiful girl like her loves him. Raghav scolds Unnati for not feeling remorse. She says she loves Dhruv. Raghav tells her to leave, warning he might raise his hand if she doesn’t.
