The Rules Of Love On Zee World Sunday 17th March 2024 update, Vasundhara telling the judge that she can hire the best nanny money can buy to look after Nandish. Maitree questions Vasundhara about the point of Nandish being in her home if he does not receive his grandmother’s love. Ashish takes that as a queue and tells the judge that Vasundhara is not interested in raising this child and that Vasundhara is only interested in winning this case to satisfy her ego. Vasundhara argues with Ashish, reminding him that in his house, only Maitree looks after Nandish, not them.

Vasundhara takes Nandish to court and tells the judge that they cannot separate a child from his mother. Maitree notices the child sobbing. Maitree takes the child away from Vasundhara and comforts him. The judge, seeing this, decides that Maitree will look after Nandish and asks Maitree to decide in whose house she will look after Nandish. The judge adjourns the court for 5 minutes to allow Maitree to make a decision.
Dinesh and Sadhana chastise Maitree for failing to inform the judge that she is unable to care for the child. Vasundhara appears and issues an ultimatum to Maitree, stating that one wrong decision could cost her her best friend, and that if she enters that house again, she will be that house widow.Dinesh and Sadhana also agree with Vasundhara.
Om instructs Ashish to go talk to Maitree, and he promises to listen to her. Ashish appears and tells Maitree that what Vasundhara said is correct. Because of Nandish, Ashish says he doesn’t want to bother Maitree. Ashish instructs Maitree to go to the judge and inform him that she will not be taking custody of the child. Om and Kusum request that Maitree transport Nandish to their residence. Maitree turns to Nandish and states that she has made her decision.
The judge inquires as to Maitree’s decision. Maitree tells the judge how important Nandish is to her and says she will take custody of him. Dinesh objects to Maitree’s decision and attempts to remove her, but the judge reminds him that this is his court and asks him to sit down. Dinesh concurs.
The judge inquires as to where Maitree will be staying. Maitree says she’ll stay at Tiwari’s house. The decision of Maitree is upheld by the judge. Maitree petitions the judge, requesting that Ashish and Nandish meet with Nandini. Vasundhara is opposed to it. However, the judge rules in favour of Maitree and Ashish and permits Maitree, Nandish, and Ashish to meet with Nandini.
After leaving the court, Maitree tries to take Nandish to Nandini, but Vasundhara stops her and reminds her of what she said, asking Maitree to wait until the court decides to meet them. Vasudhara removes Nandini from the area.
Dinesh questions Maitree about why she is destroying her life by caring for this child. Maitree remains silent. Ashish also tells Dinesh that he told Maitree not to take Nandish into custody. Dinesh accuses Ashish of coercing Maitree into taking custody of Nandish by forcing her to appear in court all the time. Dinesh and Sadhana then depart. Aashish questions Maitree about why she took Nandish into custody. Maitree claims she made this decision because she believes it is the only way for Nandish to have at least one of his parents’ love for him.
Sona is prepping for Nandish’s arrival. Sona notices Maitree welcoming Nandish into the house. Maitree is stopped from entering the house by Sona.
Sona questions her family members about their support for Maitree, who has humiliated them in public. Sona claims Maitree left our house during the Saransh 13th-day ritual and did not support us when Vasundhara accused us, so how can I forgive her? Ashish agrees with Sona Tai, saying that they will take care of Nandish and that Maitree does not need to stay here. Maitree expresses a desire to speak with him alone.
On the other hand, Vasundhara promises Nandini that she will teach Maitree a lesson for deceiving them. She claims Ashish is at the top of my hit list, but Maitree has been promoted to that position, and Maitree will now face my wrath.
Ashish asks Maitree to give his baby to him and asks her to leave. Ashish says think whatever you want but give my baby to me. He tries to snatch Nandish from her. Maitree warns him to not do it. Om and Kusum ask Ashish to stop. Ashish asks them to tell Maitree to leave giving Nandish. Maitree says she will leave and takes Nandish with her. Sona stops her and says their house will be like ruins without Nandish so stay here. Family members take Nandish. Ashish says I will learn how to handle my baby with my family then Maitree doesn’t need to stay here. Maitree looks on.Ashish says that if I learn how to care for my baby with my family, Maitree won’t have to stay here. Maitree observes.
Later, Ashish puts the baby on the bed and goes to get milk for him. Kusum requests that Maitree change her dress. Maitree notices Ashish downstairs and rushes to the baby, saving him from falling from the bed. Maitree dials Ashish’s number. Ashish shows up. She chastises him for not accepting her assistance. She requests that he bear her until he learns how to care for the baby. Maitree says we’re already pregnant, so don’t forget that you can do dramas in my house and that you must follow my rules in order to stay here.Maitree inquires about the rules. Sona invites her to live with them as Saransh’s widow. She requests that Maitree wear a white saree. Om says Maitree is assisting us, so why are you putting these demands on her? Maitree pulls a photo from her wedding album. Maitree tells Sona that she lost his son and feels sorry for her, but that doesn’t give her the right to insult her. Maitree goes to the Diya near Saransh and burns her wedding photograph. Maitree shows Sona the burning photo and informs her that Maitree Tiwari Saransh’s widow is also dead as of today.Maitree responds appropriately to Sona, stating that she came here only for Nandish and the word she gave to Nandini, not for Sona. Sona recalls what occurred. Ashish attempts to converse with Sona, but Maitree requests that he refrain from interfering with their conversation. Maitree declares that she will respect everyone in this room until they respect her. Sona wonders if she is this arrogant because she brought Nandish to this house. Sadhana tells Maitree that she has already packed her bags for her trip to Lucknow, but she is now going to the Tiwari house. Dinesh says she has a month and asks Maitree to come back to her house after that. Dinesh believes Maitree is destroying her future in this manner. In the middle of the night, Vasundhara’s brother and his wife arrive in Nandini’s room. Vasudhara’s brother changes the saline solution because Nandini will not wake up if the medicine does not enter her body. Princy enters Nandini’s room and inquires as to their purpose for being there. They disagree with Princy. Vasundhara arrives and tells them to quiet down. Princy’s mother invents a reason and removes Princy from the situation. Vasundhara inquires about her brother’s transfer of funds to that account. Yes, he says. He questions Vasundhara about why she is sending so much money to that account. Vasundhara hints to her brother that Sona will kick Maitree out of the Tiwari family with this.Maitree will get down on her knees and give her the child. Vasundhara declares that she will not forgive Maitree and that she must pay for her actions.
Maitree exiting her house with her luggage. Ashish offers to help Maitree load her suitcase into the car, but she declines. Maitree is unable to load it into the car and requests Ashish’s assistance. Ashish assists her. Someone is photographing them. Maitree falls. Ashish is holding her. Maitree’s parents and brother arrive. They request that Maitree return home as soon as possible. Maitree has the impression that someone is photographing her. If she doesn’t want to come, Ashish says she can stay at his place. Maitree denies this and sides with Ashish.
Maitree and Ashish return to their home. They can hear Nandish sobbing. Maitree takes the child. Kusum claims he has no idea why he is crying. Maitree claims he won’t be able to sleep until he hears lohri. She calms him down by singing lohri. Ashish promises to keep her luggage in her room. Maitree and Sona request that he not store luggage in Saransh’s room. Ashish invites her to stay in his room and promises to stay with Nandish. Maitree concurs. Maitree later teaches Ashidh how to care for the baby. Someone clicks on their child. Nandish, according to Maitree, will not sleep for the next two hours. Ashish requests that she sleep because she needs to meet with the bank manager for a loan and they need to take the baby to be vaccinated.Maitree requests that he stop acting concerned. Sona feeds the baby the next day. Nandish sneezes. Maitree takes the child. Ashish arrives and informs them that they are running late. They take the child. Sona is enraged. Kusum asks Sona not to refer to Nandish as her son because he is not. Maitree requests that Ashish place ice on Nandish’s vaccination site and informs him that she will meet with the bank manager. Kusum claims that the baby is more at ease with Maitree than with us. Sona becomes emotional and questions why they are distinguishing her. Kusum and Om explain to her the importance of accepting the baby’s identity. Sona observes.
Maitree requests a loan from the bank manager. The bank manager informs her that a guarantor is required in order to grant her a loan. Ashish requests that he bring his bank statement. Maitree refuses to accept his assistance. The bank manager requests Maitree’s husband’s assistance and mocks her desire to work while her husband cares for the baby. Someone takes a video of it.
