Love’s Complicated On Starlife Monday 24th August 2026 Update, Rohan informs Abhimanyu that Anisha’s death certificate is ready. He says they need to prepare the body so they can take it. The Birlas and Goenkas stand there emotionally shattered. Meanwhile, the Birlas pray for Anisha. Akshara tries to join them, but Abhimanyu stops her. Akshara says she can feel everyone’s pain, but when it comes to his questions, she has only one answer: Kairav is not responsible for Anisha’s death.

At the Goenka house, Arohi serves water to everyone. Kairav sees the wedding gift and becomes emotional. Manish refuses to drink the water. Arohi questions how the Birlas can doubt Kairav and asks him what is wrong. Vansh also asks Kairav if he will not tell him the truth. Manish says they somehow managed to bring the Birlas to Anisha’s last rites, but he does not know how they will react when they see them at the prayer meet. He adds that if Kairav had not stepped back, Anisha might still have been alive.
Kairav then reveals to the Goenkas that Anisha was using his love and never truly loved him. Manish and the others are shocked. Kairav explains that she had been hiding the truth from him, leaving him heartbroken.
The Goenkas later visit the Birlas. Mahima disrespects them and asks them to leave the house. Manjiri tries to calm her, but Mahima asks her not to stop her. She says she cannot stand the Goenkas anymore. Anand also accuses Kairav of being responsible for Anisha’s death, while Manish tries to defend his son.
Mahima again asks the Goenkas to leave. Akshara asks her to calm down until the prayer ceremony is over. Mahima tells Akshara to leave with her family because no one can understand her pain. Akshara tries to calm her, but Mahima pushes her away. Abhimanyu immediately supports Akshara and says she is not at fault. However, he insists that Kairav is responsible for Anisha’s death and says Akshara is only supporting him because of her nature. He reminds her that she had protected Arohi before and is now protecting Kairav.
Akshara continues telling Abhimanyu that Kairav is not responsible, but she eventually decides to stay quiet. Mahima files a complaint against Kairav. Manish becomes angry and reveals Anisha’s affair to the Birlas. Anand slaps Manish for accusing Anisha and claims he is only trying to hide Kairav’s mistake. Kairav is arrested and begs Manish and Akshara to save him because he is innocent.
Akshara asks Abhimanyu to help Kairav because everyone knows the truth. Abhimanyu refuses to believe the Goenkas. He shows them a painting Anisha bought for Kairav and asks why she would put so much effort into buying a wedding gift for him if she did not love him. Akshara says Anisha did it to hide her truth, but Abhimanyu gets angry.
Kairav says he does not want to go to jail. Akshara again asks Abhimanyu to stop him and says everyone knows what really happened. Harsh asks the inspector to take Kairav because they do not want any more drama during Anisha’s prayer meet. Anand also tells the inspector to take Kairav. Akshara says this is not right and asks Abhimanyu that even if he does not trust Kairav, he should at least trust her. Abhimanyu says the court will decide whether Kairav is guilty or not.
Harsh says the Birlas have been facing problems since the Goenkas came into their lives. Kairav is taken into custody while the Goenkas and Akshara stand there in tears. Kairav remembers his achievements and regrets everything. He apologizes to Kartik and Naira for letting them down.
Manish and Akhilesh try to stop the inspector from filing the complaint until their lawyer arrives. Manish and Parth argue with each other, while Parth insists that the inspector should not listen to the Goenkas and should file the complaint. Manish even asks the inspector if the Birlas have bribed him against Kairav, making the inspector furious.
Abhimanyu and Akshara arrive at the police station. Kairav panics when he sees them. Abhimanyu apologizes to Manish, while Akshara becomes emotional seeing Kairav. She tells him not to panic because he is not guilty. A constable stops Akshara from talking to Kairav and asks her to leave. Kairav begs her not to leave him. When the constable is about to hit Kairav, Abhimanyu stops him and asks him to allow Akshara and Kairav to speak.
Kairav worries about the Goenkas’ reputation, but Akshara boosts his confidence. She tells him not to worry about their reputation because nothing is more important than him. She asks him not to lose hope. Meanwhile, Manish continues trying to save Kairav.
Kairav is placed behind bars. Akshara hides her tears in front of Abhimanyu. He tells her that she can cry in front of him. Akshara says their families are fighting and they are helpless. Abhimanyu comforts her.
The Goenkas continue trying to help Kairav, while the Birlas work on building a strong case against him. Shefali arranges an interview against the Goenkas. Harsh tells Abhimanyu that their lawyer wants to speak with him, while Manish tells Akshara that their lawyer also wants to talk to her.
Abhimanyu goes to meet the lawyer. Akshara sees Kairav’s picture from the jail and decides to do something to end the fight between the Goenkas and Birlas. She tries to speak with Mahima, but Mahima yells at her.
Later, Abhimanyu talks with Parth and starts wondering if they could be falsely accusing Kairav. Parth tells Abhimanyu that instead of supporting Akshara, he should stand with the Birlas. He reminds him that Kairav is accused of being responsible for Anisha’s suicide, not of directly killing her.
