Love Thy Woman Summary, Episode 34, 35 & 36
Jia found out that Dana had been blocking her employment. She went to tell Adam and said she would file a case against Dana. Adam said he would handle it and help Jia set up another business. Jia got upset because Adam always let Dana get away with everything.
Dana was on the phone speaking to her friend Tiffany about how she hired her boyfriend to hack Jia’s company. RJ&E ended up losing 270 million. Adam heard her and got furious that Dana was the one who sabotaged Jia. He therefore told her that she would never get anything from him.
Kai received an anonymous recording of Adam and Lucy arguing over Michael’s kidnapping. Kai and Jia heard them discuss everything about Lucy giving money to Harry in exchange for the baby. Kai went to confront Adam and said that she would put Lucy in prison. Adam did not want that either so Kai offered to let the issue go if Harry went back home because she suspected Lucy had done something to keep him away.
Adam decided to re-write his will and leave everything to Jia. He made a recording and sent digital copies to his lawyer. He was planning to attend the company’s anniversary after he took care of everything. Someone knocked at his door and Kai heard a gun shot from the lady’s room. She went out and saw Lucy walking with a gun. She followed Lucy and the two of them got into an argument. They fought for the gun and it fired but none of them got hurt. They then rushed to Adam’s office and found him hurt on the floor. Kai called Jia to send help but Adam died.
Dana went to the office as well and found Kai beside Adam. She accused her of killing him so Kai tried to run away. She ran into the police and they arrested her. Simon took over the investigation of the case hoping to help Kai prove her innocence. He tried to look for the murder weapon but could not find it at Dragon Empire offices. He also asked Lucy for Adam’s phone but she claimed that she had not seen it. She however took it from the office on the day Adam died.
During her statement, Lucy claimed that there was no problem between her and Adam. Simon found out from investigating the workers that they constantly argued and Adam had recently moved out of their house. He was living at a hotel.
Simon received an anonymous tip that the murder weapon was at the boss’ office. Lucy found the gun lying at her desk and hurriedly hid it in the bathroom. Simon was not able to find it. She told his team that they were disrupting their business and had to leave the building if they could not find any evidence.
Lucy filed a case against Kai for Murder. Lucy’s lawyer asked her to change the charge to man slaughter because she would get a lighter sentence. Jia however refused to agree because Kai was innocent. They did not have enough money to pay for a good criminal lawyer.
Adam’s lawyer called for a family meeting to read Adam’s will. Jia, Lucy, Dana and Manny attended it but were shocked to see Amanda and Gab there. The lawyer said that Adam rewrote his will, leaving 50% of all his assets to Jia. Dana got 10% but would have to give 270 million back to Jia. The rest was divided between Amanda, Gab, Michael and Adam’s charities. Lucy only got the house and some of Adam’s savings.
She was furious and determined to get back all the money that was taken from her. Dana too was hurt because it was clear who between them Adam loved more.
Jia was surprised to find out that Adam left her most of his money. She decided to use it to help Kai get out of prison and help people in need.
