Jhanak On Starlife Thursday 28th May 2026 Update, Jhanak sat thinking about how Rishi had proved today that he loved Aditi and not her at all. She asked herself why he lied to her in the first place because if she had any other option for a place to stay she would never have come here. Even so she decided she would help Aditi later on as a way to return the favor. When Rishi came into her room with food and asked her to eat it she questioned why he was doing this and what was the need to show her any sympathy which left him looking confused.

She made it clear that she was staying in the house only because of Aditi’s favor and had no rights over the house or its members. Rishi told her he had never lied and he wanted her to focus on her studies to become a doctor though he could not share exactly how he convinced Aditi about everything. Jhanak warned him that if anyone saw him in her room she would face insults so he should leave with the food right away.
Meanwhile Mishti told Aditi that Rishi had gone to Jhanak’s room side and called Jhanak really cunning so Rishi was not safe around her. Aditi asked Mishti not to say such things about Jhanak but Mishti wondered from when Aditi had changed like this. Back in the room Rishi explained that he had prepared the food himself and today was a special day. When Jhanak asked what was so special he wished her a happy six-month anniversary which left her shocked. She got emotional staring at him and told him he had a wife so he should take care of her instead. She asked if he really thought she would be happy with this gesture. Rishi asked why she was insulting him like that but Jhanak said he had insulted her by doing all this and questioned what he wanted to prove since marriage held no value for them. She scolded him for the whole thing while he asked if that marriage meant nothing to her and urged her to let go of the anger and just eat.
Aditi walked in at that moment so Jhanak quickly told her that Rishi had brought this food for her and claimed he said she had to eat like this to study well. Aditi noticed the nicely decorated plate while Jhanak added that she did not eat fancy food so Rishi did this to make her eat and he had even told her to groom herself. Aditi thought to herself that Jhanak was really cunning and explained that everyone made fun of Jhanak’s food habits which is why Rishi wanted her to groom herself. She told Jhanak to eat the food since she called her sister making Rishi her brother-in-law. Then Aditi suggested to Rishi that they should go to the mall for matching outfits and asked Jhanak if she wanted anything but Jhanak replied she already had clothes and would wear something from them. Aditi left with Rishi after that and Jhanak wondered why Rishi thought she was so cheap.
Later Dadabhai came out after getting ready and asked what the need for all this was. Abhimanyu said today was Dadabhai’s special day so it was necessary while Tanushri added that he should get ready like this. Dadabhai questioned if it was right to do all this at his age especially since Indumati had gone to the parlor which felt strange and he asked what else he had to do. Surjeet explained that first Dadabhai’s haldi ceremony would happen then Indumati’s. Dadabhai got happy hearing the food menu and asked when he would get a chance to eat but Neelu told him to wait. He said today he would eat sweets and Payal asked him to wait for Indumati. Abhimanyu noted that everyone was happy and their family would have been complete if Ridhiman had returned but Dadabhai told them not to talk about Ridhiman since he had forgotten he had a son and went inside.
On the other side Arshi learned that Choton had applied to cancel her bail and she scolded her lawyer’s assistant while wondering what to do next. Aniruddh asked why she was screaming so she told him everything and he said he would talk to Choton. Mishti went to college and told her friends that Aditi had brought Jhanak home just to do household chores so Jhanak could not come to college. Ayush overheard this and decided to talk to Jhanak but Mishti and her friends teased him as he left and called Jhanak with no response from the other side.
Aniruddh later told Arshi that Choton would not withdraw the case. Arshi complained that his family never supported her and always backed Nutan instead which led to her mother dying because of Nutan. Aniruddh said Srishti was responsible for that but Arshi insisted Nutan was not Srishti’s daughter and asked if he would not fight to prove Jhanak was not his daughter. Aniruddh did not want to talk about it now and told her not to speak to Bablu and Anjana until the issue was solved while he would try to manipulate them before leaving. Arshi thought she should not have taken Aniruddh to Kashmir and recalled their past moments.
Aditi gave a kurta to Rishi and told him to get ready. She noticed his phone ringing and took it saying there was no work today. Rishi got ready and said he felt happy to have his Aditi back. Aditi told him she understood he loved only her but Rishi recalled moments with Jhanak and thought he could not love two girls while wondering why he was not sure about his feelings. The episode ends.
