Between You And Me on zee one Monday 24th July 2023 update, Chuttan says I will keep wreaking havoc till the time you will send me back to my home. You guys aren’t my family. I want to be with my mother! He makes a sad face. Akhilesh is about to scold him but Ira says I don’t know how to explain to you that we are your family. I am your mother. You are a part of this family. She goes upstairs sadly. Akhilesh calls Chuttan Ravan. Mishri and Akhilesh follow Ira upstairs. Pushpa asks Chuttan why he hurt Ira. Stay like Ravan.

She leaves as well. Devina praises Chuttan. You were very smart. You did what I couldn’t do in all these years! You brought tears in Ira’s and Pushpa’s eyes at the same time. I will guide you what to do next. He shrugs her hand away. I don’t need you. I only listen to my Mayi. Devina asks him where his so called Mayi is.
Chuttan replies that he has no idea but I will look for her once I get out of here. She tries to talk to him but he warns her to stay away.
The landline rings. It is Devina’s friend. She decides to meet her asap. Devina is going to meet her friend. This little kid is showing me such attitude! I don’t care though. I will get out of here once Sid claims property for Vansh. She receives Sid’s call and reprimands her for not claiming Vansh’s right in the property. You cannot do like this! I need that money too. Sid hangs up on her. Devina is sure it must be Vansh’s idea. Only Chuttan can help me out of this situation. I wish I could meet his Mayi. She turns and collides with Chanda. She scolds her badly. Chanda looks at her and feels that only Devina can help her get Chuttan.
Ira is crying in her room. Akhilesh gives her water and hugs her. Everything will be fine. Don’t cry. She blames herself but he reasons that Chuttan’s behaviour isn’t because of her. He is a kid. He will take some time to adapt. She says it is happening because of me only. How could I not know that I have another kid? Don’t know who raised him and how he turned out to be like this! Which mother forgets a kid after giving birth to him? Akhilesh says he is kid. We will talk to him. I will talk to him. He will accept us sooner or later. Ira says he will never accept us. He will keep doing something or the other against us. He consoles her. We will find a solution. Please stop crying. Mishri is watching them from outside. Chuttan brought tears in Mapu’s eyes as soon as he came in this house. It is wrong. I will have to do something now. She thinks of an idea.
Chanda requests Devina to help her. Devina scolds her for entering in her compound. She calls security but Chanda holds her feet. Chanda tries to tell her but Devina walks away in a huff. How to give money to her? I don’t have anything to give in alms. All this happened because of Pushpa, Akhilesh and Ira! I will ruin their lives with Chuttan’s help. I need to find his Mayi for that. She realises that she will have to go to the low class Basti to find her. She calls the driver. Chanda thinks only she can help me but she isn’t willing to even talk to me.
Chuttan thinks that his Mother India would have been so proud of him if she saw how he has been troubling Pandey family. They would have sent me with her then. Mishri comes there dressed as Hanuman. She breaks the headgear which angers Chuttan. What will I tell the costume guy now? He throws his headgear. Mishri hits him with a mace. He asks her if she does not love her life. She says you enjoy being Ravan so I became Hanuman ji. Hanuman ji had set fire in Lanka. Chuttan tells her she cannot win from her. I don’t fight with girls. Mishri mocks him for making an excuse. You are so afraid! He refuses so she challenges him for a fight. Mishri has a upper hand chases him around the room. He shouts for help but she continues to hit him. Ira and Akhilesh come running there. Ira shouts at her and asks her what she is doing. She pulls her away. Chuttan says she broke everything that we had taken on rent. What will I tell the guy from whom we had rented the costumes? Ira questions Mishri again. Mishri replies that she is Hanuman. I will teach a lesson to this Ravan. He has been troubling everyone since he has come here. He wont listen to anyone! I wont let someone hurt my Mapu and Bapu. Ira explains that Ravan wasn’t a bad guy either. His company was wrong. He would have taken the right path if he was in the right company. It is the same with Chuttan. He will take some time. He too will become nice after staying with us. He will become the apple of our eyes. Chuttan says I don’t want to be nice. I am glad being Ravan. Mishri says I told you (Ira) that Ravan can only be changed by hitting him with a mace. Ira ends up shouting on her. Don’t you understand things in one go? Who hits their brother like this? Leave now. Mishri tries to say something but Ira tells her to leave. Akhilesh tells Ira to calm down. Mishri leaves sadly. Akhilesh shoots Ira a disappointed look. I never thought you will shout on our daughter for Chuttan! She is crying. He leaves as well. Chuttan looks at Ira who starts fixing the room immediately. He walks up to her. You say that you are my Mayi but I still don’t believe it. You are also like my Mayi though. She too fights with people when someone hits me. I will help you fix the room. Ira nods. He helps her set the room again.
Mishri is crying (acting) downstairs. What’s my mistake? It is just that I love my Mapu and Bapu very much but Mapu scolded me today because of that Chuttan! I cannot let this injustice happen to me anymore. Akhilesh comforts her. Pushpa goes to bring water for her. Akhilesh says I know you are crying because your Mapu scolded you. I know you were trying to teach a lesson to Chuttan but Mapu does not want both the kids to fight amongst each other. He will take some time to adjust. She cries harder. Pushpa gives her water. Mishri says Mapu does not love me since Chuttan has come here. She does not love anymore. Akhilesh denies. She does not love me as much as she loves you. She chose to stay with you for 5 years and raised you without me! Mishri winks at Pushpa and they both end up laughing. He looks at them in confusion. Mishri says I couldn’t control myself after seeing you so tensed or I was acting so well. He understands their plan. Why were you acting? Mishri says Chuttan feels all alone in the entire house. I thought to cry once Mapu scolds me. Chuttan will hear me and will that Mapu loves him just as much as she loves me. They will be friends then. Pushpa seconds her plan. Akhilesh asks her what she is giving to Mishri as she is becoming very smart. He pats her head proudly. Mishri says it was Badi Ma’s plan. Akhilesh says I thought so. You got scolded for no reason. Pushpa makes Mishri say Dabang Movie’s dialogue. Mishri says it sweetly. I can do this much for my brother. Akhilesh and Pushpa smile proudly. Akhilesh says another dialogue of the movie. Mishri covers her ears. Don’t say it. We will continue this fun but we have to make Chuttan a part of this tool. Please befriend him soon.
Ira seconds Devina. Maybe we rushed things a little. Ira and Akhilesh decide to talk to Chuttan but Devina offers to speak to him instead. He knows I was not a part of the legal adoption process. Pushpa is not convinced but Devina assures her she can handle kids who taunt her always. I am not doing it for any noble cause. You guys can sponsor my shopping if Chuttan agress. Pushpa agrees. She hopes that Chuttan agrees to be a part of their family somehow. I wont ask for anything else.
Chuttan is miffed with Ira for cheating him. I thought you are the only one who understands me but you also turned out to be like them. I wont talk to you ever again. Devina tells him that he has lost the bet. You must listen to me now. Open the door. He shouts at her to leave. I don’t want to talk
to anyone. She tries again. I am your friend. I told you beforehand that these people were going to take advantage of you but you did not hear me. Now you should open the door. He calls her a liar. I wont hear anything. She tells him that this family has cheated her for years. We are in the same boat. I am the only one who can unite you with your parents. He opens the door. Can you actually do that? She nods. I understand your pain. I was thinking how to get your Bapu out of jail. I have also found a house where you can stay with your parents. He asks her what he should do now. She tells him to go downstairs and tell the family that he is ok being a part of this family. He refuses.
Ira is worried about Chuttan. Akhilesh stops her. I should not have talked to Chuttan like that. I will apologize to him. Ira asks him what if Chuttan scolds him. Akhilesh says he is my son. I will hear it. They come out of the room and see Chuttan and Devina outside. Chuttan tells them that he has finally understood that he is a part of this family. Everyone smiles. Chuttan calls Ira and Akhilesh his Mayi and Bapu. Ira hugs him. Akhilesh says I am very happy. We will start afresh now. Pushpa asks for a hug as well. He says you must accept a condition before accepting me. Ira says we can fulfil every condition of the son of this house. He asks them to send Mishri away if they want him to stay here. Everyone is stunned. Chuttan says I don’t like her anyways. I cannot stay with her. Send her to hostel. Devina smirks. Flashback shows Devina telling him to keep this condition before Ira and Akhilesh. You have to pretend to be in agreement for their demand. Ira will get angry and throw you out of the house herself! You will be free then. He asks her if she is sure this plan will work. Devina nods. He agrees to follow her every advice. She thinks poor Chuttan also has no idea of what she really wants. Flashback ends.
Chuttan continues to speak against Mishri. Devina acts before the family but Chuttan stays put. You must decide who do you want to stay with – me or Mishri. Akhilesh asks him to give some time to Mishri. I bet she will soon become your bestfriend. He refuses. I will accept you as my family only when Mishri will leave the house! Ira asks him how she can choose one out of them. You both are my eyes. He shrugs her hand away. I cannot bear Mishri and especially her ponytail. I will cut it today! Akhilesh loses his temper again. Everyone loves you so much and this is how you will talk to us? Chuttan is firm on his condition. He ends up pushing Mishri. Leave this house. This is my family now!
Pushpa and Akhilesh rush to Mishri’s side. Akhilesh asks Chuttan how dare he push his daughter. You are so ill mannered. Few ladies walk in just then. They are from Child Support. Is this how you will speak to a 7 year old? We never thought we will witness this sight here! Devina is glad that finally Chuttan will be out of this house. Child Support group continues to question Akhilesh. He explains that he loves Chuttan just as much as he loves Mishri but he crossed his limits today. They point out that an adoption is under probation for first 7 days. Our report can cancel his custody. We don’t think he should be with you. He looks so scared. We will have to take him with us. Chuttan plays along and starts crying. I don’t want to stay with these people. Please take me from here. Akhilesh is very bad. Pushpa whispers something in Mishri’s ears while Chuttan continues his drama.
Mishri tells the ladies to take Chuttan with them. Everyone here loves him so much but he wont listen to anyone. My entire family forgot me since he has come. Chuttan stares at her in confusion. She says you should go as you want to go. I will bring your stuff. Akhilesh tells her that siblings don’t part ways like this. She reasons that Chuttan does not consider her as his sister. We should let him go if that’s what he wants. Pushpa cries. Don’t know which family will take care of him. He might have to go very far from us. I wont let it happen. Mishri tells her to let him go if that’s what he wants. Chuttan thinks he cannot go far or his Mayi wont be able to find him.
Mishri tries to send Chuttan away but he tells that he wants to stay with Pandey family. Mishri repeats his previous words. He says what you are saying. We are twins. I am with you. You don’t have to go anywhere. Devina fumes seeing Chuttan hug Mishri. Pushpa smiles at Mishri. Everyone looks at them in confusion. Chuttan tells the ladies he will stay with this family only. Brothers and sisters do fight sometimes. They ask him if he is sure. He nods. They tell Akhilesh they will visit again and leave. Akhilesh nods confused. Chuttan lets go of Mishri as soon as the ladies leave. He closes the door. Don’t think that I said that from my heart! I still don’t like Mishri or this Khadus Uncle! He runs upstairs followed by Devina. She asks him if he has gone mad. This was your chance to
get out of this house. Why did you back out from the plan? He shrugs her hand away. My Mayi wont be able to find me in another city. She can atleast try to take me from here! She tells him to speak slowly but he shouts at her and runs inside. The ladies warn Devina to be careful in future. You wasted our time by calling us here when Chuttan actually wants to stay with them! Devina apologizes to them. Chanda overhears the ladies. They also want to send Chuttan away but he said no? What his on his mind? Has he fallen in love with this family?
Akhilesh asks Mishri why she was instigating Chuttan to leave the house. Ira answers instead. It was Moti Ba and Mishri’s plan. I saw them both whispering. Pushpa says you only told me about reverse psychology. That was why I was crying in front of Chuttan. I said he may have to leave the town knowing well that it would mean he will have to be away from Chanda and Ramavatar. Ira says it is still wrong. He is staying with the hope that he will meet his mother some day. Pushpa tells her not to worry. We will love him very much and raise him well. We will make him realise that this is his family. He will forget his fake mother very soon. Akhilesh says we will do it only when we will get a chance. He is always upset with us. Mishri says I have an idea and smiles.
Chuttan is sitting sadly in the room. Mishri tells him to come out asap. We must shift to a hotel asap. Ira seconds her. Three lions have escaped from the jungle. Our lives are in risk. Chuttan isn’t bothered. I would tell them to take me to my Mayi. Akhilesh tells him that lions are dangerous. He stays put. Akhilesh asks Ira to come. I cannot put my entire family in risk for him. He isn’t willing to listen to us. Chuttan walks up to the door when everything becomes quiet outside. He opens the door. They actually left me alone! He peeks downstairs and finds the house completely empty. Now no one can stop me from leaving this house! He is passing from the kitchen area and notices a lion on the slab. He inches closer carefully and is petrified to see a lion. He runs around the house. Save me, Mayi! He keeps running around while shouting for help. Chuttan tells the lion to spare him. Mishri says how I can let go of you. I will eat a Baccha Biryani today! Chuttan looks at him in disbelief. How can a lion talk? Mishri says I learnt to talk while staying in the zoo. Ira and Akhilesh also come there wearing the lion costumes. Chuttan requests them not to eat him. Some people live nearby. Akhilesh asks him to become a part of their family. Chuttan reasons that he isn’t Mowgli.
Chuttan pushes Akhilesh’s mask and Ira and Mishri also follow suit. Chuttan asks them if they were trying to scare him. Mishri replies that he wasn’t willing to come out of the room. We thought to do this drama for that. Chuttan says you guys are used to lying to us. Ira holds him. Give us a chance to show you how much we love you. We will even give our heart to you if you say so. He tells her to give it right away. Ira turns around and then gives him a heart shaped balloon. Mishri and Akhilesh also hold a heart shaped balloon for him. He makes a face. Ira says I think you should start interacting with us now. Is it that difficult? Akhilesh says we are trying to pacify you since so long. Little cub can complete our family. Mishri seconds him. We have also prepared a special lion dance for you. Everyone wears their mask again. They dance on Tara Rum Pum. They fall down while dancing. Chuttan laughs. Ira says we wouldn’t have fallen if you had supported us. We need you for that. Pushpa also comes there. Will you guys not give me a chance to talk to my grandson? I know he dint like their small hearts. She also holds a heart shaped balloon for him. He refuses. She asks him how she will put if back in her body. She deflates the balloon. Chuttan laughs as she changes her voice. Akhilesh, Ira and Mishri also deflate their balloons. They all talk like chipmunks. Chuttan starts laughing badly. My stomach is hurting due to all this laughter! Ira suggests him to give her a hug to save himself. Chanda peeks inside and notices Chuttan hugging Ira. The entire family is smiling broadly. Chuttan tells the family that he is tired of smiling. Ira says you must be hungry now. Will you have Suji Halwa? He sits up happily. Pushpa and Ira decide to make it. Mishri goes to bring ghee.
Chanda is crying outside. Ira has snatched my son from me! He forgot me completely. Who should I live for now?
