Bhavna asks Mamta not to think that way and defends Mukesh, insisting that he likes Mamta only as a friend and respects her but does not love her. Mamta asks whether Bhavna thinks she is lying. She continues manipulating Bhavna and turns her against Mukesh by accusing him of being disloyal.
Mamta asks Bhavna to call Mukesh home but then tells her to wait. She calls Mukesh herself and asks him to come to her room because Bhavna wants to see him. Bhavna questions why Mamta said that, and Mamta claims she does not want Mukesh to misunderstand the situation. When Mukesh arrives and asks what happened, Mamta asks him to bring her bag containing her medicines. He advises her to visit a doctor, but she suddenly begins rebuking him for following her. Mukesh is shocked by her sudden change of behaviour.
Mamta questions why Mukesh is worried about her and tells him to stay away from her and focus on Bhavna, who is carrying his child. She reminds him that Bhavna and their unborn baby need him. Mukesh asks what she is talking about, but Mamta insists that she is telling the truth. Meanwhile, Lakshmi tells Rishi that she wants to reveal the truth to him but no longer wishes to explain herself because he does not trust her and will simply call her words a lie. Rishi stops her and tells her not to lecture him when she has made a mistake and should apologise instead. Lakshmi asks him to release her hand because she is hurt, but he tells her that he is no longer affected by her pain. She asks him why he has changed so much. When she screams in pain, he apologises, but Lakshmi says she should return to the police station because she can no longer tell him the truth.
Lakshmi regrets wanting to explain the real situation to Rishi and says she should change because he has changed. Rishi calls her a culprit, claiming that she has admitted to the crime, and asks why she is putting on an act. Lakshmi reminds him that she denied committing the crime when she appeared in court and asks whether he did not hear her statement.
Kiran asks Malishka why she has stepped out of the house. Malishka tells her about Shalu’s attempt to ruin her image and says Shalu has challenged her to expose their truth. Kiran urges Malishka to do something before Shalu reveals everything. Malishka then tells Kiran something shocking: Lakshmi has escaped from jail and is currently at the Oberoi mansion with Rishi in his room.
Meanwhile, Mukesh asks Bhavna to believe him because he loves only her, but she refuses to speak to him. Kiran suggests calling the police to have Lakshmi arrested. Aanchal meets a detective named Neha, who feels indebted to her because of the help she has received in the past. Aanchal explains that she wants to discover who really killed Neelam. She asks Neha to keep the investigation secret, revealing that Neelam was murdered by a member of the family and she wants to identify the culprit. Neha asks whether she can stay at the mansion to investigate discreetly. When Aanchal questions how she will avoid attracting attention, Neha suggests disguising herself as a servant and joining the household. Aanchal agrees, and Neha promises to begin the investigation soon. Aanchal is determined to do whatever it takes to find Neelam’s killer.

Meanwhile, Shalu checks the door and asks the inspector why he has come to the house. He asks whether Lakshmi has returned, but Shalu questions how she could have come home. The inspector explains that Lakshmi was being transferred to another jail when she escaped. Shalu insists that Lakshmi is not at the Oberoi mansion, but the inspector reveals that the other prisoners were caught and told the police they had left an unconscious Lakshmi at the mansion.
The inspector adds that he does not blame Lakshmi for escaping because she did not leave jail of her own free will. Nevertheless, he wants to search the house and arrest her. Ayush arrives and learns about Lakshmi’s escape. He asks Shalu whether Lakshmi is there, and Shalu tells him not to blame her. The inspector also explains that Lakshmi was not responsible for the escape because the other prisoners took her along.
Ayush tells the inspector to do his duty, and the police begin searching the house. Shalu asks Ayush why he has changed so much. He replies that everyone has changed. Shalu says she will regret what has happened, but Ayush wishes she would genuinely regret it. He explains that if he is at fault, he will accept his guilt, handle it and correct his mistakes. However, he refuses to become a fool by believing Shalu again.
Shalu feels that Ayush will never understand her, but he asks her to stop trying. Meanwhile, Bhavna hears about Lakshmi’s presence at the mansion and goes to inform Mukesh. Mukesh is surprised and asks how Lakshmi could have returned home. Bhavna tells him what the inspector said, and Mukesh suggests that they look for Lakshmi. Soon, the inspector approaches Rishi and informs him that Lakshmi has escaped from jail. Malishka keeps shouting at him, and Ayush tells her to shout as much as she wants. Kiran questions whether he is drunk to be behaving so disrespectfully. Ayush taunts both women and tells them to look at themselves in the mirror. Kiran demands that he stop talking nonsense, but Ayush tells Kiran and Malishka to leave him alone and deal with each other instead.
Shalu arrives, and Ayush asks whether the police have left. She tells him they are still there. Malishka insults Shalu and orders her to leave. Shalu questions why Malishka is asking her to go when Ayush had told her to stay because of the heavy rain and storm. Ayush recalls that he had indeed asked Shalu to stay back.
