Anubhav “Anu” is a young scientist who lives with his extended family with traditionalist values. His opposite, Riddhima “Gungun” is a spoiled brat with an arrogance that is masking hate and loneliness stemming from her mother’s choice to leave her, and their family, at a young age to pursue her desires. Anu’s family finds Gungun a match for Anu, but Anu disagrees, with Gungun reacting similarly.
Love By Chance Starlife Full Story Summary, Gungun’s mom calls her, and she breaks with anger on the phone. Anu hears this call and is now aware of her mental state. Though both dislike each other’s behaviors, through circumstances, both Anu and Gungun agree to marry. Before the marriage, they make a deal and sign to each other to break their marriage once circumstances rectify.
Later, at an event, Gungun tries to patch up with Akriti, her cousin, who harbors negative feelings about her estranged mother but fails. Akriti has feelings for Anubhav but later is shocked to learn about his marriage. At the event, Gungun is also impressed by Anubhav.The marriage faces problems as Golu, Anubhav’s uncle, is falsely accused of robbery done by his colleague. The marriage is canceled following which Gungun becomes aware and assists with funds. The police then resolve the matter, and the planned marriage is resumed. Meanwhile, Akriti confesses her love to Anu, which he rejects.Maya, Gungun’s mother, returns to India for the marriage and develops a negative opinion of Anu’s family. Akriti leverages this and the two ladies join in scheming to use disgrace.
Maya’s insult results in the marriage being called off again and Gungun harboring even more negativity towards her mother. Gungun, wanting to apologize immediately does not. Akriti then immediately attends to Anu’s family, to curry points.With the marriage canceled, Charudutt, the patriarch, wants Anubhav to be wed at the previously planned marriage, but with a different bride, to take revenge. He feels that Akriti is the perfect match for Anu.
They all agree on the marriage, with Anu initially rejecting before agreeing under pressure. Neither Akriti’s mother nor Gungun is informed of the new coupling initially. Akriti’s mother is finally made aware that Anu is the groom at the engagement.
Meanwhile, Gungun and her father go to Anu’s house to apologize for Maya’s insult earlier only to find Anu being engaged to Akriti no less. They apologize and leave. Gungun feels shattered and cheated. After coming home, Maya triggers Gungun. She, in unchecked anger, leaves the house without informing her parents. While driving at speed, she gets herself into an accident. She is treated and escapes danger.
After recovering, Gungun wants to gift a ring to Anubhav at his wedding. Ronnie (Gungun’s boyfriend) calls Gungun and asks her on a trip his friends have planned which conflicts with the obligation to attend Anubhav and her cousin Akriti’s wedding. Ronnie presses the matter, and she agrees on the trip and to gift the ring after returning, taking the ring with her.
Later, on Anubhav’s wedding day, he gets a call from Ronnie saying that on the same day, he and Gungun are going to get married. Anubhav gets furious, but Gungun’s father, who is also unaware, insists Anubhav focus on his marriage in progress. Learning that Ronnie is attempting non-consensual wedlock, both arrive in defense, and Anubhav fights Ronnie and his friends. Ronnie forcefully tries to fill Gungun’s trichion with vermilion, seeing as Anubhav pushes aside Ronnie and himself fills her trichion with vermilion, thus unofficially marrying her to save her. Gungun is now Anubhav’s half-life. The police nab Ronnie and his friends. Anubhav apologizes to Gungun’s father for his impulse and says that he only did this to save Gungun and that he does not consider this a marriage. Gungun, again shattered, does not process the events and this distinction. She gifts the ring to Anubhav.
Reaching home, Gungun refuses to remove the sindoor because she feels that it is wrong to remove the sindoor, as it was applied in a temple, in front of God.Anubhav reaches his wedding venue and hides the fiasco from his family. Anubhav carries on and marries Akriti in presence of all, with all rituals. After Akriti’s marriage, she invites Gungun for humiliation, but Gungun arrives as a married woman to make Anu realize his mistake. Meanwhile, her father suffers from severe chest pain which Gungun does not know about.
At the wedding venue, everyone is shocked and questions Gungun. She informs everyone only that she is married, but not to who. She indirectly confronts Anubhav for his lack of sincerity in his actions. Everyone confronts and humiliates Gungun for her actions, not knowing the truth. When Gungun returns home, she learns of her father’s heart attack who later dies, leaving Gungun alone, heartbroken, and devastated. Now Anubhav develops feelings for Gungun owing to her loneliness. Akriti, now Anu’s wife, pesters to discover from Gungun her husband despite her mental health. Anubhav stands with Gungun through this time and his family finds it questionable.
At her father’s ashes veneration ceremony, Gungun tries to commit a failed suicide attempt by drowning in water, but Anubhav saves her. Meanwhile, Ronnie is trying to blackmail Gungun to marry him with the photo of Gungun and Anubhav’s marriage. Later on, both Gungun and Anu confess their love for each other.At the Tehran, Gungun’s mom, announces her marriage to Ronnie. Gungun keeps mum because of Ronnie. Anubhav gets triggered and unknowingly hurts Gungun by taking off the ring she gave him as a wedding present. While getting ready for her marriage, Gungun is continuously consuming sleeping pills from which she falls unconscious at her ceremony.Despite Ronnie being there, Anubhav insists on taking Gungun to the hospital. Everyone present at the ceremony questions this. Now Maya and Ronnie want Gungun to marry as soon as she gets conscious. At the hospital, Gungun tells Doctor Uncle all the truth and asks him to help them.
Anubhav puts vermillion in Gungun’s trichion before Garima, Maya, Ronnie, Golu, Yug, Ankit and Akriti arrive at the hospital. Akriti is severely furious at Anubhav for his deeds.Gungun tells Garima the truth about her marriage. On the other side, Charu takes a promise from Anubhav that he will never meet Gungun again.Thus, Anubhav and Gungun miss each other terribly.After two years, Anu’s dean calls home. He says I got inspired from my wife, who had to go to US for her treatment, we should make this available in our country by appealing to the govt, so that nobody leaves their country, I dedicate this to my wife.They ask where is your wife. Gungun also talks to the media. They ask why did you leave the good opportunity and come back. Gungun says my family is here. Anu says I have to go to an orphanage today and teach the kids. Dean says it’s a big day for you, you should party. Anu says I want to celebrate this award with the kids. Dean says you will be honoured by the national dignities. He says I will come back soon. She asks about Gungun. He says no news.
She says she will call you when she learns about your award. Gungun tells the future plans of Jeet network. She says I have to go. Senior says yes, you said you have to go and see the new house you bought. She says I have to go to orphanage, they asked me to come today. He asks her to adopt a kid. She says why to adopt one when all the kids can be mine. She leaves. She goes to the orphanage. The lady thanks her for adopting the orphanage and saving them from a big crisis. Gungun says don’t worry, I will manage their education expenses also. The lady says thanks, someone else is managing it. Gungun meets the kids. They praise Anu uncle. Gungun spends times with them.
They say uncle always comes on weekend, even if he is busy. Anu comes and meets them. Gungun sees Anu and gets emotional. Anu also sees her. The lady says Gungun has adopted our NGO, she has come today from the orphanage. She introduces Anu. Gungun greets Anu. The kids call them darling uncle and darling aunty.
