Unfortunate Love ZeeWorld Wednesday 9th September 2026 Update, Karishma notices Shalu decorating the house and tells her to get ready instead of making everyone feel like they are making her work on her engagement day. Shalu asks Karishma if she is upset with her. Karishma says Shalu’s habit of answering back is what upsets her and scolds her. Neelam arrives and also asks Shalu why she has not gotten ready. Just then, Rano comes with a makeup artist and says they will help Shalu get ready. They leave the room together.

After they leave, Karishma tells Neelam that she feels Shalu is unlucky. Neelam advises her not to think that way, but Karishma silently gets angry because she feels Neelam always takes Shalu’s side.
Meanwhile, Malishka is on a call with Balwinder. She tells him that Lakshmi is suspicious of her and is looking for evidence. She asks whether he signed any document when he accompanied her to the hospital. Balwinder confirms that he signed one document. Malishka looks around and becomes anxious when she does not see Lakshmi. She tells Balwinder that she feels Lakshmi might expose her, leaving him worried.
Malishka later spots Lakshmi leaving the hospital and quickly calls Balwinder. She orders him to stop Lakshmi from checking the register. Lakshmi reaches the reception, tells the receptionist that she is a doctor and starts checking the visitors’ book. Malishka anxiously waits for Balwinder to stop her before she discovers the truth.
At the same time, the makeup artist finishes getting Shalu ready. Rano compliments her and says she looks beautiful. She asks about Lakshmi, and Shalu explains that Lakshmi went out. She asks Rano to call her, but Rano checks her phone and finds there is no signal. She tells Shalu and goes to get something to eat. The makeup artist tells Shalu that she is ready, and Shalu thanks her. However, she becomes worried about why Lakshmi has not returned.
Ayush enters and gestures that Shalu looks amazing. He teases her, and they share a sweet moment. He hugs her and says he does not like seeing her shy because he prefers her fighter mode. Shalu admits that she wanted to tell him about her feelings earlier but could not. Ayush says he also thought he was not her type, so he never confessed his feelings. They smile, feeling happy and relieved.
At the hospital, Balwinder pretends to have a seizure to distract Lakshmi. When Lakshmi rushes to get water, Malishka sneaks in, tears the page containing the important information from the register and escapes. By the time Lakshmi returns, Balwinder has also disappeared. Lakshmi is shocked and realizes she may have missed important evidence.
Lakshmi becomes even more suspicious and wonders if Malishka tore the register page and how Balwinder managed to disappear. The hospital staff decide to check the CCTV footage to find out who tore the page. They later spot Malishka in the footage and decide to catch her. When they see her, they start chasing her, with Lakshmi joining them. Malishka panics and thinks her phone has failed her, leaving her unable to call Balwinder for help.
Back at the house, Karishma yells at the workers. Aanchal asks what is wrong, and Karishma says she is worried that Shalu may bring trouble to the family. Aanchal asks her not to think negatively. As the guests arrive, Anushka overhears their conversation and smirks, thinking she will create even more problems for everyone.
Rishi finds Ayush and Shalu and tells them that opposites attract. He says he feels complete with Lakshmi and believes Ayush and Shalu will feel the same. He asks about Lakshmi, and Shalu says she is outside. Rishi decides to call her and leaves. Rano approaches Ayush and asks why he is still there. Ayush makes an excuse and leaves. Shalu tells Rano that Ayush is happy, and Rano prays that no evil eye falls on their happiness.
Meanwhile, Malishka calls Balwinder and orders him not to leave the hospital until Lakshmi is gone. She tells him not to cause her any more trouble. The call disconnects. Rishi also calls Lakshmi and asks why she video-called him, saying he was happy to see her. Lakshmi is tense and speaks rudely to him, leading to an argument. She cuts the call, leaving Rishi frustrated. He decides he will not answer her calls again and silences her number.
Ayush promises himself that he will never let Shalu cry. He takes off his blazer, and Karishma reminds him to get ready for his engagement. He asks for two minutes. After she leaves, he uses body spray. Feeling that someone is spying on him, he calls out and steps outside to check. Anushka uses the opportunity to sneak into his room and cuts his blazer.
Later, Ayush notices that Rishi is upset and asks what happened. Rishi says Lakshmi is angry with him and that no matter how much he tries to make things right, she keeps pushing him away. Ayush defends Lakshmi and tells Rishi that she is his Bhabhi and he should speak about her with respect. Rishi gets annoyed and asks Ayush to leave, saying he always takes Lakshmi’s side.
Back at the house, Ayush puts on his blazer and discovers that it has been ruined. He calls Karishma and shows her the damage. Neelam and Karishma are shocked. Neelam confidently says she knows who could be behind it. Karishma asks who she suspects, and Neelam says it could be either Anushka or Neel. She calls security and asks them to check the guest list for anyone who entered without permission. They agree and leave.
Neelam and Karishma decide to buy a new blazer from the market. Rano arrives and learns about the torn blazer. She says there is no need to go out because Shalu can easily fix it. Neelam agrees and asks Rano to call Shalu. Rano leaves to get her.
After they leave, Ayush suspects that Neel could be behind the sabotage. Meanwhile, Anushka watches him and smirks, thinking that she was the one who cut the blazer and that she will not let his marriage with Shalu happen.
Rano brings Shalu to Ayush. Shalu asks what happened, and Ayush shows her the torn blazer, saying he does not know who did it. Shalu suspects Anushka and says she might have done it because Shalu invited her to the event. Anushka quietly watches them.
Rano questions Shalu about why she invited Anushka. Anushka smirks and thinks Shalu was foolish to bring her there. She vows to ruin Shalu’s happiness. Rano scolds Shalu, but Ayush asks her to calm down and tells her to go downstairs and enjoy the event. Before leaving, Rano warns Shalu and Ayush to be careful around Anushka.
After Rano leaves, Ayush asks Shalu why she invited Anushka. Shalu explains that she wanted Anushka to see that they are meant to be together and that fate is bringing their love together. Ayush smiles after hearing this, and they share another sweet moment. Anushka watches them with jealousy.
Meanwhile, Malishka deliberately makes sure Lakshmi sees her and uses it to lure her into the cold storage. Lakshmi unknowingly follows her into the trap. Inside, Lakshmi calls out for Malishka and asks her to come out and confess the truth to the family.
Malishka manages to escape from the cold storage and locks Lakshmi inside. Lakshmi realizes that Malishka has trapped her and starts shouting for help, but nobody comes to the basement to hear her cries. She begins shivering in the freezing cold, and her condition gets worse.
At the same time, Shalu searches Ayush’s cupboard. Ayush notices Anushka in the mirror and confronts her. He takes her out of his room. Anushka tells Ayush that she knows he loves her, but Ayush firmly tells her to leave. He says there is nothing between them, that he only loves Shalu and wants to be with her.
Anushka insists that Ayush is only in denial, but he tells her that he does not want his family to suffer because of her actions. Just then, Rishi comes out of the guest washroom and sees Anushka. He asks what she is doing there. Anushka boldly says she will stop the engagement. Rishi warns her that he will call the police if she does not leave. Anushka reluctantly leaves, promising to return another time. Ayush feels relieved, while Rishi encourages him to stay happy.
Later, Shalu surprises Ayush by fixing his torn blazer. Ayush praises her talent and tells her that Anushka was the one who tore it. Shalu asks why he did not tell her earlier. Ayush says he did not want anything to ruin their engagement day. Shalu apologizes for inviting Anushka, but Ayush tells her to forget about it.
Shalu then asks whether Lakshmi has returned. Ayush suggests that they check downstairs.
