Rohan sees a blanket and uses it to slide down the railing again. He falls and hurts himself badly. Both Malishka and Lakshmi see the accident. Malishka rushes to get water while Lakshmi asks Parvati to call Rishi. Parvati agrees and runs off.
Malishka notices black ash in a kitchen utensil. She also sees that Lakshmi dropped the Pooja ki Thaal while running to Rohan. Malishka takes some ash with a wet cloth. While Lakshmi is busy on a phone call, Malishka applies the black ash to Rohan’s shirt to frame her.
The entire Oberoi family gathers around Rohan. Neelam asks how he fell. Malishka immediately blames Lakshmi. Neelam and Harleen tell her to stop and say Lakshmi would never hurt Rohan. Lakshmi also insists she would never harm him because he is like a son to her. She demands Malishka stop questioning her love as a mother. Malishka argues that Lakshmi only pretends to care and actually wants to harm him. She accuses Lakshmi of blowing black ash into Rohan’s eyes, causing the fall. Lakshmi tells her to stop talking nonsense.
Malishka claims she has proof and asks everyone to check the ash stain on Rohan’s shirt. She says Lakshmi tried to wipe it off but left a mark. Lakshmi pleads with her to stop and says she would never hurt Rohan. Neelam angrily tells Lakshmi to stop pretending and asks how she could do this to him. Malishka then brings the Pooja ki Thaal and shows the ash inside it. She points out it is the same ash on Rohan’s t-shirt and questions why Lakshmi tried to wipe it from her own clothes too. Harleen stays silent.
Lakshmi gets frustrated and says she is tired of trying to convince them. She tells the family they seem to hate her more than they love Rohan. She insists they should focus on getting treatment for Rohan right away. Neelam refuses to let Lakshmi touch him and says the doctor is already on the way. Malishka continues arguing with Lakshmi and asks how she could hurt her son. Lakshmi repeats that Rohan is like a son to her. Malishka snaps that he is not her son and warns her never to claim that. The argument gets heated as Lakshmi defends her love while Karishma tells her to stop repeating herself.
Lakshmi decides to take Rohan to the hospital herself since the doctor has not arrived. Aanchal stops her and reminds her that Neelam said not to touch him. Lakshmi argues with Aanchal and points out that Aanchal stayed quiet when the family was wrongly accusing her but now speaks up against her. She tells Aanchal a sister should correct her sibling when wrong. Lakshmi criticizes the Oberoi family for always believing Malishka and treating Neelam’s words like orders. Neelam defends herself and says she saw the proof with her own eyes. Lakshmi challenges her on how quickly she believed Malishka.
The doctor finally arrives. Lakshmi asks him to check Rohan but Malishka tells Anushka to take Rohan while keeping Lakshmi away. Harleen comforts Lakshmi, who promises she would never hurt Rohan. Harleen says she can see the truth in her eyes.
Rishi and Ayush reach Rohan. The doctor asks how the injury happened and Malishka blames Lakshmi again. Rishi takes Malishka aside and questions why she is saying this. He defends Lakshmi and says he knows she would never do it. Malishka replies that even Neelam believes Lakshmi is responsible. Neelam comes and tells Rishi she made the decision for Rohan’s safety.
