Unfortunate Love On ZeeWorld Monday 31st August 2026 Update, Rishi sees Lakshmi crying alone and comes to console her. He asks what is bothering her and tells her not to cry. He assures her that everything is fine and will be fine. He tells Lakshmi that he is with her and promises that everything will be alright. Lakshmi pushes him away and continues crying. Rishi asks her again what happened. Lakshmi says she is in pain. Rishi tells her not to feel that way and assures her that no one can separate them.

Lakshmi tells Rishi that everything has ended. Rishi asks her not to speak like that. He says he will listen to everything she has to say once they return home. He asks her to always remember that he will always be with her. He says they will stay together, have a small family, and live a happy life.
Rishi sees Lakshmi smiling and crying at the same time. He thinks she is crying happy tears and tells her to always be happy. He says he will go and get medicine for Ayush and leaves. Later, Rishi sees Lakshmi crying terribly again and becomes worried about her emotional state. He asks her to stop crying and says he will make sure everything stays fine.
Meanwhile, Shalu looks at Ayush. Ayush calls out to her, and she comes to him and sits beside his hospital bed. She holds his hand and quietly cries. Ayush asks if she is alright. Shalu asks how she can be fine when he is in this condition.
Ayush removes his oxygen mask and tells Shalu that he has just gone through surgery and is not in a condition to take a scolding. Shalu says she is not scolding him. Ayush tells her that he can handle any kind of pain, but he cannot handle seeing her cry.
Shalu hugs Ayush. He tells her that he is not going to die and asks her not to worry. Shalu tells him never to speak like that. Ayush teases her and asks if she does not want anything to happen to him. Shalu says she does not. Ayush then asks Shalu to marry him.
Shalu stays silent for a moment before telling Ayush that she will marry him. Ayush becomes unconscious again before she can fully express her feelings. Shalu panics and calls the doctor to check on him.
Shalu later comes to Lakshmi and tells her that Ayush has lost consciousness again. She says she was not able to tell Ayush how much she loves him. Shalu tells Lakshmi that she loves Ayush a lot and will not be able to live without him. Lakshmi comforts her.
Lakshmi thinks about her situation and remembers Neelam’s condition. She realizes that for Shalu’s love to succeed, she may have to sacrifice her own love. She thinks Shalu deserves Ayush and that she will not let her happiness fade away.
Karishma asks Neelam why she allowed Shalu to meet Ayush. Neelam explains that it was the right thing to do. She says Ayush knows that Shalu will be there and that the Oberoi family will also be there, but he still wanted to meet Shalu.
Karishma says she does not want Shalu anywhere near Ayush. Neelam says they cannot do anything more than that in this situation. Karishma asks Neelam since when she has started giving in to circumstances. Neelam leaves.
Kiran asks Karishma why Neelam is behaving this way. Aanchal says Neelam wants to do something and she knows what it is. Later, Karishma, Kiran, and Aanchal approach Neelam and again ask why she allowed Shalu to meet Ayush.
Neelam tells Karishma that she has already explained her reasons. Aanchal says they should keep Shalu away from Ayush because being beside him in this situation will make their relationship even stronger. Neelam says she believes what she did was right and makes a comment about it before leaving. Aanchal says she thinks Neelam is planning something big.
Kiran receives a call from Malishka and leaves to answer it. Malishka asks Kiran to tell her what is happening at the hospital. Harleen enters, so Malishka puts Kiran’s phone on hold. Malishka tells Harleen that she is stressed about Ayush and could not stay at the hospital because of the smell, so she came there instead. Harleen advises Malishka to take care of herself and leaves.
Malishka then continues talking to Kiran. Kiran expresses her concern about Ayush and Shalu’s relationship. She mentions that Ayush chose to speak to Shalu first after regaining consciousness. Malishka says she does not want to hear anything about Ayush and Shalu. She asks Kiran to come up with a reason to send Rishi home because she needs him to take care of her. Kiran agrees.
Rishi later comes to Lakshmi again and asks what is wrong. Lakshmi remains silent. He assures her that everything is fine and that he will make sure they live together. Lakshmi thinks about Neelam’s condition and realizes what she may have to do.
Kiran comes to Rishi and asks him to go to Malishka. Lakshmi also tells Rishi to go home because Malishka needs him, but he refuses. Lakshmi cries bitterly, and Rishi becomes worried that she is planning to leave him. He tells her not to think negatively and says he will only think positively.
Rishi assures Lakshmi that they will stay together no matter what happens. He then leaves for home, but Lakshmi immediately hugs him while recalling their memories. Rishi and Lakshmi become emotional as they hold each other.
Meanwhile, Shalu becomes happy when Ayush regains consciousness. Ayush says he wants to go home, but Shalu tells him to wait for two hours.
Lakshmi later meets Neelam and confronts her about her decision to separate her from Rishi. She emotionally tells Neelam the story of her and Rishi from the beginning. She recalls all the challenges they have faced and how their love has overcome every obstacle.
