Unfortunate Love On Zee World Friday 28th August 2026 Update, Anushka tells Malishka that no matter what she does, she will never win against Lakshmi. Malishka asks Anushka to stay within her limits, but Anushka replies that Rishi will be the one to show Malishka her limits. She then says she wishes she had someone like Rishi in her life.

Shalu steps on Anushka’s foot and manages to escape. Ayush immediately asks Shalu to leave. However, Neel grabs a gun from the cops and fires it into the air. He declares that nobody will leave and orders Shalu to come back. Anushka takes Shalu hostage again and taunts Ayush, asking if he really thinks he will get to live happily ever after with Shalu. She says she will never let that happen. Ayush warns Anushka that he will kill her if she harms Shalu, but Anushka mocks him.
Anushka then claims that everyone in the house has wronged her. Looking at Neelam, she says Neelam mistakenly believes that she controls the household. Lakshmi intervenes and tells Anushka that Neelam is the elder of the family. She makes it clear that she is not defending Neelam just because Anushka was once the daughter-in-law of the house.
Anushka questions why Lakshmi is interfering in her conversation with Neelam. Lakshmi replies that she is also a part of this family. She says that if Anushka wants to go against Neelam, she will have to face the whole family first. Lakshmi then demands that Neel release Shalu. Neel warns Lakshmi not to take another step and fires the gun into the air again.
After hearing the gunshot, Harleen, Aanchal and Rano decide to find out what is happening. However, Aanchal locks Harleen and Rano inside a room. She tells Harleen that Neelam will be furious if she finds out that Harleen was put in danger. Aanchal insists that Harleen stay in the room while she goes to check what is happening.
Neel warns everyone that he fired into the air this time, but he will not hesitate to shoot Shalu next. He orders Lakshmi to step back. Lakshmi reassures Shalu and tells her not to worry because she is there for her.
Anushka questions Neel about why he has not shot Shalu yet. She blames Shalu for ruining his life, then insults Shalu and threatens to kill her. Ayush pulls Anushka aside and begs her not to do this.
Anushka taunts Ayush and reminds him how he always treated her unfairly. She says that even when he was with her, he was always thinking about Shalu. Anushka then demands that Ayush apply sindoor to her hairline, but Ayush refuses.
Neel urges Anushka to stop, but she tells him not to interfere. She makes it clear that she does not see him as her husband and says that the only relationship between them is about money. Anushka again demands that Ayush apply sindoor to her hairline, but he firmly refuses.
Anushka blames Shalu for Ayush’s refusal and tries to stab her. Ayush quickly pulls Shalu aside, but Anushka ends up stabbing Ayush instead.
The Oberoi family panics after seeing Ayush injured, but Ayush assures them that he is fine. Shalu becomes furious and tries to fight Anushka, but Lakshmi stops her. Ayush once again tells everyone that he is fine before confronting Anushka.
Ayush admits that he was always thinking about Shalu, even when he was married to Anushka. He reminds Anushka that they never had a true husband-and-wife relationship. He says that before their marriage, he had already told her that he could never love her as a wife because his heart belonged to Shalu.
Ayush accuses Anushka of betraying him by hiding the truth while still demanding that he fill her hairline with sindoor. He says his upbringing has taught him that once he loves someone, he will only honor that person. For him, that person is Shalu.
Rishi supports Ayush and says this is the value of their family upbringing. He tells Ayush that he does not need to fill anyone’s parting with sindoor except Shalu’s. Neelam is shocked by Rishi’s suggestion. Rishi pleads with Neelam to allow Ayush to fill Shalu’s hairline, reminding her how long Ayush has waited for this moment.
Aanchal then appears from upstairs and asks if everything is alright after hearing the gunshot. Taking advantage of Neel’s distraction, the police inspector snatches the gun from him and restrains him. The lady constable also captures Anushka.
As the cops prepare to take Neel and Anushka away, Anushka curses Shalu and says she will never win Ayush’s love. She claims Shalu will spend her entire life thirsting for his love. Lakshmi becomes furious and confronts Anushka for cursing her sister. She tells Anushka that she and Neel will face the consequences of their actions and assures Shalu that she will protect her.
Anushka then turns her curses toward Lakshmi and says Lakshmi will also never find love. Shalu intervenes and tells Anushka to stop.
The cops try to take Neel and Anushka away, but Ayush stops them and says Anushka cannot leave yet. Anushka misunderstands him and assumes that Ayush still loves her. She smugly comments on it, but Ayush sharply dismisses her. He tells her that he only wants to show her where she stands in his heart.
Ayush looks deeply at Shalu and begins expressing his feelings for her, but Anushka interrupts him. Furious, Ayush silences her and says the blood on him is not just blood but a symbol of his relationship with Shalu.
Ayush then uses his blood to fill Shalu’s hairline with sindoor, shocking everyone. Anushka becomes furious and curses Shalu again, even threatening to kill her. Lakshmi boldly tells Anushka that she will have to go through her first if she wants to reach Shalu. The cops finally take Neel and Anushka away.
Later, the Oberoi family admits Ayush to the hospital. Karishma is extremely worried about Ayush, and the family comforts her and takes her aside. Shalu stays with Ayush and watches over him.
