Preeta tells Daljeet that she does not think Karan is responsible for Nidhi’s suicide attempt. Daljeet says she has important work to do and takes Shanaya away from there. Gurpreet notices that Preeta is not looking well and tells her so. Rajveer informs Daljeet that Preeta’s blood pressure became low, but Preeta insists that she is fine. Daljeet asks her to rest and sends Mohit to bring some fruits. Preeta goes inside.
Palki tells Rajveer that she hopes he did the right thing. Daljeet returns and takes Palki away. She later tells Palki that her marriage with Rajveer cannot happen. Palki refuses to accept this and says that no one can break their relationship. Daljeet says she will make sure they separate. Palki goes inside, leaving Daljeet angry. Daljeet tells Shanaya that she will not spare Palki today.
At the police station, Mahesh meets Karan. Karan asks about Nidhi’s condition, and Mahesh assures him that she will get better. Karan says that Shaurya will also become normal if Nidhi recovers. Mahesh warns him that it will not be easy to get bail if Nidhi does not regain consciousness. Karan says he trusts the law and is sure he will be released because he did nothing wrong. He asks Mahesh to calm down.
Varun arrives and consoles Mahesh. Karan asks Varun to take care of his family, especially Kavya. Varun tells him not to worry about them before leaving with Mahesh. Karan is left alone and cries.
At the Luthra house, Rakhi tells Dadi that they know Karan is innocent, so he will be released. She says Nidhi loves Shaurya so much that she believes Nidhi will recover. Rakhi is also happy that Preeta has gone to her house and believes that nothing bad will happen to them now. She thanks God.
Daljeet asks Palki to open the door. She becomes worried and assumes that Palki may try to commit suicide. Shanaya also asks Palki to open the door. Palki eventually opens it, and Daljeet slaps her. She scolds Palki for creating unnecessary drama.
Shaurya cries while looking at Nidhi. He remembers the moments they shared, holds her hand and begs her to wake up. He says he cannot live without her and promises to protect her from now on. He apologises for not taking care of her. Kavya hears him and starts crying. Varun consoles her, and Kavya hugs him.
Rajveer sees Preeta sleeping and thinks that she will soon understand that Karan is a bad person. He admits that although he does not like Nidhi, he still feels bad for what happened to her.
Daljeet’s mother-in-law arrives at the house. Daljeet takes her blessings, while Palki also takes Beeji’s blessings. Rajveer greets Beeji, and Shanaya introduces him to her. Beeji says she likes Rajveer for Palki, making Palki happy. Palki hugs Beeji.
Karan is surprised when Preeta arrives at the police station. She tells him that she brought food for him. Karan says he is not hungry, but Preeta convinces him to eat. She tells him that he is a very good person and that he cares deeply about his family.
Preeta says she saw him praying for Nidhi and asks whether she made him uncomfortable. Karan shakes his head and tells her that they are friends. He says he wants Nidhi to get better for the sake of his children.
A constable asks Preeta to leave because Karan’s family has arrived to meet him. Karan asks Preeta if she cannot stay a little longer. She tells him that she will come back to see him later and leaves.
Rakhi tells Kareena that she does not understand who has come to meet Karan. Kareena hopes it is not a journalist. They become angry when they see Preeta. Kareena says she feels that Preeta may not have lost her memory after all. Rakhi asks Preeta why she came to meet Karan at this time. Kareena warns that a journalist could use the situation against them.
Rakhi tells Preeta not to meet Karan again and goes inside with Kareena. Karan asks Rakhi and Kareena to behave properly with Preeta. Kareena says he does not care about their feelings. Rakhi tells Kareena that Karan has changed and then tells Karan that his actions are hurting them.
Rakhi says that the person standing in front of her is Preeta’s husband, not her son, before leaving. Kareena tells Karan that he has hurt Rakhi. Karan explains that Preeta is the Luthras’ daughter-in-law and that she is working at the hospital because of financial problems. Rakhi returns and tells him that Preeta is not the Luthras’ daughter-in-law.
Meanwhile, Beeji asks Daljeet what is wrong with Palki wanting to spend time with Rajveer. She learns that Daljeet slapped Palki and scolds her for it.
The police inspector tells journalists that he will visit the hospital the next day to take Nidhi’s statement. He says that if Nidhi’s statement is against Karan, Karan will be punished. He adds that Nidhi must give her statement before the court punishes Karan.
Preeta hears this and asks the inspector to help the Luthras. She tells him that Karan is innocent and asks him to go to the hospital the next day to take Nidhi’s statement. The inspector reminds her that Nidhi is unconscious, but Preeta insists that Nidhi will regain consciousness the next day and give a statement in Karan’s favour. She then leaves.
Rajveer asks Palki why she fought with Daljeet. Palki explains that Daljeet has a problem with his salary and status. Rajveer says he is not rich and considers himself lucky to have Palki in his life. Palki says she tried to explain to Daljeet that Rajveer means a lot to her.
Rajveer tells Palki that she loves him deeply. He says they can fight against the whole world for each other, and they hug. Meanwhile, Daljeet tells Beeji that Palki crossed all limits, which is why she reacted that way. Beeji tells Daljeet that she will help her break Palki and Rajveer’s relationship.
The next day, Preeta reaches the hospital and speaks to the unconscious Nidhi. She tells her that the Luthras are worried about her. Preeta informs Nidhi that the police arrested Karan for her suicide attempt and that Karan’s release depends on Nidhi’s statement.
