At night, the Deshmukh family celebrates Janmashtami at home. Renuka, along with her sons and daughters-in-law, performs the puja. One by one, they seek blessings from Krishna ji for happiness and success in life. After the puja, everyone enjoys the pudding made by Sayali. Though it tastes really good, Renuka still points out faults in her cooking. Sachin then talks about a Janmashtami competition happening in their locality, but first, they need to form a team.
Sachin, Akash, Tejas, Anish, and their friends form a team to break the matka, which is the main rule of the competition. Tejas gets anxious after hearing that no one will be responsible if someone gets injured. He is pushed to think about the prize money instead. Sachin again tells Sayali to focus on her business and not on bad luck, but Sayali feels something unfortunate is about to happen. Soon, the brothers are called to participate. Sachin notices that Chitti is also part of the competition and will be their opponent. Seeing Chitti’s team, Sayali gets scared.
