Saras looks at Danny, who asks if it’s a lie. Saras tells him to listen, but Danny insists that it must be a lie. When Saras doesn’t say anything, Danny realizes the truth and gets emotional. He says this cannot be happening and runs inside the house in tears. Saras follows him, calling his name. Danny breaks down, asking why Saras never told him. Saras admits that he hid it because a mother is a mother, no matter what her past is. He tells Danny that Ghuman loves him a lot. Danny, feeling betrayed, says Saras did wrong by hiding it from him and leaves. Saras watches him go, thinking that he couldn’t tell Danny the truth because many things were connected to it. He says he never wanted to take away a mother’s love from Danny.
Kumud sees Saras quiet and asks him where Danny is. He replies that Danny wants to be alone for some time. Kumud says he just learned something he never imagined. Saras says trust doesn’t mean revealing everything but sometimes hiding certain things for the better. Kumud reassures him that Danny will understand and tells him that trust takes time. She reminds him that they have a lot of work to do, but Saras, frustrated, says his brother is avoiding him, and all she cares about is the drama. Kumud insists they need to deal with the situation, but Saras says it’s about his brother now. She silently promises herself that she won’t let Saras break the promise he made to his mother. She knows Pramad came to weaken Saras, but she will always be his strength.
Danny keeps thinking about Pramad’s words about Ghuman and remains upset. Kumari and Kusum come to him, but he tells them he doesn’t want to talk. Kumari tries to relate, saying she also struggled when she learned the truth about her father, but Danny cuts her off, saying it’s different. He found out from Pramad, while she was told by her mother. He feels cheated by Saras for hiding this. Kusum defends Saras, saying maybe he was helpless and couldn’t tell him about his mother. She asks him to think about how Saras tried to protect him from this pain all these years. If not for Pramad, Saras would have kept it hidden even now. Kusum supports Saras, but Danny remains frustrated. Kumari tries to change the subject, suggesting they rehearse, but Danny asks them to leave him alone.
Kumud is performing the Bhoomi Pujan. Suddenly, the drama troupe begins performing, and everyone rushes to watch it instead. Kumud and Badimaa are shocked to see the villagers ignoring the puja. Kalika arrives and taunts Kumud, saying no one will attend the Bhoomi Pujan. Saras arrives and says he is with Kumud. He declares that the Vyas family stands with the Desai family. Kalika is shocked. The Meera’s Katha performance starts, and Kumud questions Saras about it. He says he wouldn’t have done this, but since it’s important to her, it will happen. Kalika leaves. However, the audience is still missing.
Saras takes on the role of Kanha and plays the flute. Kusum watches him as he steps into the role of Meera. Kalika instructs the performers to begin the drama. As it starts, some women come to watch Meera’s Katha, but they get distracted by the drama. Kumud tries to stop them, but they say they have no reason to watch the Katha and leave. Danny and Kumari bring some kids, making Kumud smile. The children run toward the drama area, but Danny instructs them to do something. The kids then persuade their parents and others to watch Meera’s Katha instead. They even disconnect the mic at the drama area, drawing people to the Bhoomi Pujan. Badimaa comments on Kusum’s performance, saying she is acting like a real Meera. Kalika is upset seeing everyone shift their focus. Kusum delivers Meera’s dialogues with such conviction that even Guniyal appears tense. Everyone claps, and Kumud smiles.
The Bhoomi Pujan is completed with a large crowd in attendance. Kumud is happy, while Kalika worries. Kumud approaches her and offers prasad, announcing that the puja is done. Kalika, frustrated, hands her divorce papers and says Pramad sent them. She warns Kumud not to think she has won, but Kumud smiles and takes the papers, saying Pramad didn’t come himself, meaning he accepted defeat. Kalika leaves.
Everyone asks Kumud to name the school. She turns to Badimaa and requests permission for Saras to do the honors. Badimaa agrees. Saras unveils the name, and everyone claps. He is shocked and happy to see that the school is named after his mother. Kumud smiles at him. She tells him it was never about her and Pramad but about a mother and son’s love. She urges him to fulfill the promise he made to his mother by lighting the shagun’s diya. Saras, overwhelmed with emotion, lights the diya as everyone claps. He thinks to himself that only Kumud could have done this for him—she has completed his bond with his mother.
Meanwhile, Pramad is driving recklessly, with Kalika worried beside him. He recalls Kumud’s words and stops the car. Kalika yells at him, asking what he is doing. He laughs and says he hasn’t done anything yet—one more plan remains. Kalika warns him that they have already failed and should lay low for now. But Pramad is determined. He makes a call and asks for some goons, saying something big is about to happen to Kumud and her family.
Danny remains upset. Saras approaches him, but Danny says that if their roles were reversed, he would have slapped Saras. Saras tells him that he cannot slap him because he values his love more than his hatred. He explains that hatred is always weaker than love. Danny realizes he overreacted and apologizes. Saras makes him promise never to say he wants to stay alone again. Danny agrees and hugs him. Saras jokes that being serious is his job, not Danny’s. Danny smiles, thanks him, and hugs him again.
Kumud tells Kusum that the brothers fought because of her. Kusum reassures her that Danny had to learn the truth one day and that Saras is probably relieved now. She points at them and says their fight is over, and they are back to normal. Kumud and Kusum smile. Danny asks Saras if he is upset with Kumud. Saras denies it but admits he was worried. Danny suggests apologizing if he hurt her. Saras smiles. Kusum comments that Saras and Danny are like Ram and Lakshman and will never stay upset with each other.
Pramad talks to Kalika and the goons about Kumud. He describes her, and Kalika mentions that Kumud wears a kamarbandh. Meanwhile, Kumud gives her kamarbandh to Kusum as a reward for her performance. The goons, seeing Kusum with it, assume she is Kumud and kidnap her. They admire her beauty, while Kusum is terrified.
Kumud, Saras, and Danny search for Kusum. Kumud calls her, but she doesn’t answer. Saras finds a piece of Kusum’s dupatta and grows worried. He remembers sending Kusum to the sweet shop and decides to check there. He tells Danny to take Kumud home while he looks for Kusum. Kumud senses something is wrong.
Saras searches for Kusum, following the trail of her torn dupatta and earrings. Meanwhile, Kusum remains in the goons’ custody. Saras reaches their hideout, but they hide her before he sees her. He leaves, unaware that she is right there.
