The following morning, Kumud wakes up in Krish’s room. He apologizes for waking her and pretends to be Superman, making her smile with his antics. Krish recounts how Saras saved her when the pillar fell, implying she called out for his help instinctively. Kumud denies thinking about Saras, but his words weigh on her. Reflecting on Saras’s past rejection, she acknowledges his actions saved her life and feels conflicted.
Guniyal confides in Badimaa about her feelings for Saras, reminiscing on how she saw him as a son. She struggles to accept his departure and the pain it caused Kumud. Badimaa empathizes, explaining that love and marriage often clash with destiny, sharing her hope that Kumud might find love with Pramad. However, both acknowledge the difficulty of Kumud moving forward.
Later, while helping her mother-in-law with gifts, Kumud encounters Saras unexpectedly through the fabric of a saree, sparking memories of a similar past moment. Their locked gazes speak volumes, but the tension remains unspoken. When left alone, Saras attempts to talk, but Kumud silences him, reminding him of his place as a stranger to her now. Angered and hurt, she retreats to her room, clutching a cloth symbolizing her bitterness toward Saras, questioning his betrayal and the shattering of her dreams.
Meanwhile, Vidyachatur prepares to leave for the Karkhana when Sunny arrives with a revelation. He explains Saras’s struggles with Laxminandan and his decision to leave home to marry Kumud. Vidyachatur and Guniyal are shocked but realize Saras’s intentions weren’t to hurt them. However, Badimaa insists they keep this from Kumud, fearing it might rekindle her feelings and complicate her fragile happiness.
Saras reflects on his mistakes and the lost trust between him and Kumud. Kanika interrupts, attempting to flirt with him, but Saras firmly sets boundaries. Kanika threatens to involve Pramad, but Kumud intervenes, defending Saras and dismissing Kanika. Left alone, Kumud and Saras exchange lingering glances, their unresolved feelings surfacing as memories of their bond play in their minds.
Kumud and Saras face each other. Kumud recalls Saras’s harsh words and steps away from him. Kanika observes them from a distance. Saras tries to explain himself, but Kumud’s mother-in-law calls her to the kitchen, and she leaves. Meanwhile, Budhidhan discusses his social work, and Pramad sits nearby. When Kumud enters, Budhidhan greets her warmly. He inquires about Saras, and Palak mentions he is recovering. Budhidhan notes the sadness in Saras’s eyes and suggests that perhaps unburdening himself will help. Kumud silently prays that Saras keeps their shared pain to himself, believing their shattered dreams should not impact Budhidhan’s family.
Later, Kumud asks about Saras’s injuries. Murakh Das mentions that Saras, who was found unconscious on the road, was brought home by Palak. Kumud reflects on this but keeps her thoughts to herself. Meanwhile, Budhidhan introduces Saras to Kumud, calling him Naveen Chandra. Saras and Kumud are taken aback. Palak remarks that Kumud already knows him since Saras saved her during the kuldevi puja. Budhidhan asks for more details, but Kumud excuses herself, saying she needs to speak with her mother-in-law.
At Vidyachatur’s house, he debates whether to contact Laxminandan to learn about Saras’s departure. Guniyal strongly opposes the idea, citing past grievances and their daughter Kumud’s suffering.
Back at Budhidhan’s house, Saras contemplates his feelings for Kumud and struggles with his guilt over breaking her trust. He silently resolves to ease her pain but feels powerless. A young boy, Sid, enters Saras’s room to study. Their brief conversation leads Sid to ask about apologizing, leaving Saras to reflect on his own need for forgiveness.
Budhidhan prepares to leave for a village meeting, asking his family to remain cautious. Pramad, feeling sidelined, reacts bitterly to his father’s instructions. Budhidhan counters by mocking his attitude, deepening the tension between them.
Elsewhere, Yash’s mother schemes to use Kumud’s political connections for their benefit. She convinces Yash to visit Kumud’s house with sweets, hoping to curry favor with her influential in-laws.
Kumud, overwhelmed with questions about Saras’s sudden presence, reflects on her unresolved feelings. She wonders why Saras left Dubai and why he returned so unexpectedly. Despite her inner turmoil, she remains outwardly composed.
Later, Kumud serves tea to Budhidhan, who expresses gratitude for her presence in their family. Saras enters, and Budhidhan thanks him for saving Kumud’s life, calling him trustworthy. Saras hesitates and requests to stay elsewhere, worried about causing trouble. Budhidhan insists that Saras is part of their family now and leaves the discussion for later. Kumud overhears this exchange and is asked by her mother-in-law to thank Saras. Reluctantly, Kumud expresses her gratitude, but the moment is heavy with unspoken emotions.
