Saras and Kumud On Starlife Monday 17th March 2025 Update, Saras talks to Danny, confused by his words, and asks him to be clear. Danny hesitates but mentions Kusum. Before he can explain, Kumud rushes in, distressed, saying this cannot happen as she just received a call from the inspector informing her that Pramad is ill. She refuses to believe it and immediately leaves to see him. Saras watches her go, her dupatta slipping from her shoulder in slow motion. At the police station, Kumud meets Pramad, who is happy to see her and tells her he had faith she would come.

Meanwhile, at home, the family is shocked after Danny informs them about Pramad’s condition. Saras arrives with Kumud, and she directly confronts Pramad. She throws a glass of water on his face, calling him a liar and accusing him of acting. She insists he is only pretending to be ill because he cannot see her happy. She reminds everyone that she once trusted him, and he tried to burn her alive. Saras, however, says Pramad is not lying. Kumud remains unconvinced and claims that he has bribed everyone, declaring she will not be fooled this time and will proceed with their divorce. Just then, Pramad starts coughing up blood. Kumud is shocked to see the blood in his hands as the doctor arrives and calls for a ward boy to take him away for treatment.
Kumud finally realizes that Pramad is seriously ill. Pramad, weak and in pain, tells her that he could never burn her because he himself is going to burn in a few days. Kumud is left tense and shaken by his words. Meanwhile, Kalika is worried about Pramad and tries to call him. At home, Yash’s mother and other family members discuss Kumud and Pramad’s situation, particularly why Kumud rushed to see him if she truly wanted to divorce him. Vidyachatur comments that there might be truth in what they are saying. Kumud then enters and confirms that it is indeed true—Pramad has only a few days left to live. Vidyachatur asks her if she is okay, and she responds affirmatively, explaining that Pramad’s drinking habits led him to this condition. She states that he never cared for anyone and believed that his father’s influence would always save him. She reassures everyone that they do not need to worry about Pramad. However, despite her composed demeanor, Badimaa notices that Kumud is suppressing her emotions. Kumud then diverts the conversation by talking to Kusum about her upcoming marriage, telling her that her groom lives in America and will take her there after the wedding. Badimaa hugs Kumud, sensing her inner turmoil. Later, Saras and Danny have a conversation about Kumud. Danny tells Saras that he should be with her, but Saras says he does not want to weaken her by always standing beside her. Saras also asks Danny about Kusum, but Danny remains silent. Saras then reminisces about his bond with Danny and their brotherly moments. Badimaa brings food for them and sees that Saras is troubled. Saras expresses guilt over how he treated Pramad, saying he never knew he was so ill. Badimaa comforts him, telling him not to overthink. Saras rests his head on her lap as she sings a lullaby, and he drifts off to sleep.
The next morning, Saras visits Pramad in the hospital, while Kumud prepares for school. Guniyal suggests she take a leave, but Kumud refuses, saying she is fine. Badimaa reminds her that they need to make arrangements for Kusum’s engagement. Kumud smiles and says she will return soon. Meanwhile, Saras questions Pramad about why he apologized to Kumud. Pramad tells Saras that he will understand one day. Saras hands him his medicine, and Pramad sarcastically questions whether Saras was born on earth or fell from the sky, mocking his kindness. Saras sincerely apologizes for beating Pramad earlier, but Pramad only claps and laughs at him. He ominously tells Saras that although he has only a few days left, they will soon be together. Saras firmly states that such a day will never come, but Pramad insists that one day Saras will bring Kumud to him. Meanwhile, at home, Badimaa asks Kusum if Kumud called from school, but Kusum says no. Badimaa suspects Kumud is worried about Pramad, while Guniyal says Kumud is strong and will take care of herself. Later, Badimaa asks Kusum to make laddus for the engagement. Danny approaches Kusum and points out that she seems unhappy despite it being her engagement day. He advises her that life is easier when one has their true love beside them. Kusum remains silent, and Danny realizes that she is not marrying out of love. He assures her he will not share her secret with anyone if she considers him a friend. After she leaves, Danny is left heartbroken, feeling it is unfair that he has to sacrifice his love.
At school, Kumud teaches her students about the human body and uses Pramad’s disease, liver cirrhosis, as an example. Saras, who is watching from outside, notices her struggle to maintain her composure. After class, he approaches her, but she is visibly disturbed. She expresses her deep hatred for Pramad, reminding Saras of all the horrible things Pramad has done—how he destroyed her emotions, tried to kill her, and even hit Saras with his car. She admits she once wished Pramad would die but finds it ironic that fate is now punishing him. She insists she has no pity for him. She also confronts Saras for hiding the truth from her and warns him not to do it again. Saras admits he lacked the courage to tell her. Kumud asks why, and Saras simply tells her to look at herself and see how much the truth has affected her. Kumud struggles to understand why she still feels sad for Pramad. Just then, a little girl gets hurt, and Kumud instinctively rushes to comfort her. Saras watches, recognizing her soft heart despite her words.
Later, Kumud receives two letters—one containing divorce hearing papers and the other hospital documents requiring her signature as Pramad’s wife. She is conflicted and asks Saras what she should do. Saras is also unable to give her an answer. She walks inside, leaving Saras deep in thought. Meanwhile, Pramad is at home, and his condition worsens. Murakh Das brings him medicine, but Pramad refuses to take it. His parents arrive, shocked to learn about his illness from Murakh Das. His mother is devastated and pleads with him to take his medicine. Pramad coldly tells her that she should be happy since his existence will soon be erased forever. Budhidhan insists that Pramad will recover, but Pramad refuses to take his medicine and instead makes a demand—he wants Kumud. His parents are shocked by his words.
At home, Kumud is preoccupied with the letters when Chandrika talks to her about decorations. Later, Vidyachatur discusses the engagement arrangements with a priest and decides to hold the event at home rather than in a temple. Kumud agrees and asks about Kusum’s whereabouts. Saras then arrives and tells Kumud that she has a third option—today is Kusum’s engagement, and she should forget all problems and focus on that. Meanwhile, Pramad insists on seeing Kumud, leaving his parents disturbed. Saras takes the letters from Kumud, and Badimaa smiles. Saras assures Kumud that her worries are now his, at least for the day. They head off to prepare for the engagement.
Kusum sits alone in her room, crying while holding a peacock feather. Danny sees her crying and misunderstands the reason. Kalika watches from the window, smirking at the situation. She notes that Saras understands Kumud without words, while Danny remains clueless about Kusum’s true feelings. She decides to “help” Danny. Meanwhile, Saras asks Danny to assist Kumari with the arrangements. He watches Kumud from afar and sees she is still tense. Badimaa advises her to get ready, but Kumud hesitates. Saras gives her new clothes as a gift, hoping to cheer her up. Kumud is touched and tells him they are beautiful. Saras says they will look even better when she wears them. He then tells her he is leaving, not wanting to be questioned by others. Kumud stops him, asking him to stay for some time. Saras insists he will always be with her, no matter where he is. The song “Saraswatichandra” plays as they share a moment.
Kusum continues crying while getting ready. She remembers Saras’ words and puts on the kamarbandh. Danny confronts her, asking why she is crying when she has chosen to get engaged. She denies her feelings, saying they were only ever friends. Danny is devastated. Meanwhile, Saras welcomes the groom’s family. He smiles when he sees Kumud wearing the dress he gave her. Meanwhile, Pramad’s condition deteriorates, and he collapses, coughing up blood. His parents panic and rush to help him. Budhidhan calls the doctor while Pramad, struggling to breathe, insists his mother call Kumud.
