Saras and Kumud On Starlife Friday 31st January 2025 Update, Kumud is cooking something in the kitchen. A little boy comes, and Budhidhan’s wife introduces him as Pramad’s brother. Kanika enters the kitchen and sees Kumud cooking Dalya. Kumud says it’s for the man who was found on the road. Kanika replies that she needs to make tea for Pramad. Kanika says Pramad does not like cold things. She insists she will take care of everything, saying she knows her husband more than Kumud does, and she will go and give tea to Pramad. Kumud looks at her. Kanika adds that Pramad needs tea to start his day. Kumud leaves the kitchen.

Kumud brings Dalya for Saras. She turns and sees his back. She enters the room and looks at him, but she cannot see his face. She tries to see him but cannot. Saras is sleeping, and she covers his leg with the blanket. She feels something—an unexplained feeling runs through her. She leaves the room.
Kumud comes to her room and sees Kanika and Pramad getting intimate. Kanika makes Pramad drink tea with her own hands. When they see Kumud, Kanika gets up from the bed and smiles (shameless!). Pramad says he thought Kumud left, but she is still here. Kanika explains that Kumud was serving his parents. Kumud replies that she has come here, and they can leave now. Pramad insists that Kanika will wait until he finishes his tea, saying that Kanika takes care of him. Kanika leaves with a smile, and Pramad looks at her while she walks away.
Murakh Das comes to Saras. Saras asks who made the Dalya. Murakh Das says to leave it; anyone would make it. He mentions that he brings everything home, and someone cooks it. It’s because of him. Saras asks for water, and Murakh Das asks what type of water he should bring. Saras eats the Dalya. Kumud gets a call from home. Guniyal speaks to Kumud and asks about her welfare. Kumud asks how they are. Guniyal says they miss her and wanted to call since morning, but they thought it wouldn’t look good, so they called now. Guniyal asks about Pramad. Kumud says he is very good and cries. Badimaa talks to Kumud and asks how she is. Kumud controls her tears. Badimaa also asks about Pramad. Kumud lies, saying he takes good care of her, which makes Badimaa happy.
Kumud pretends someone is calling her and tells Badimaa that she has to leave. Badimaa blesses her. Kumari says she also wanted to talk. Badimaa says her mum-in-law was calling her, and they can talk later. Guniyal feels satisfied after speaking with Kumud. Pramad tells Kumud to tell her parents the truth. He taunts her. Kumud replies that she did not come here to go back. He stares at her and throws his teacup in anger. Kumud fears him.
Budhidhan’s son-in-law comes and greets him. He shows him his work and presents the map. He hopes the plan works. Palak argues with her husband. He mentions that 100 crores will be required for the project. Saras arrives and states it will be 73.3 crores. Everyone looks up to him. Saras makes a good entry, showcasing his knowledge. He gives the actual estimation. Palak introduces Saras to Budhidhan. Saras greets Budhidhan and thanks him for taking care of him. He expresses his desire to see the blueprint. Saras studies the plan and shares his opinion, impressing Budhidhan with his skills.
Palak agrees with Saras, stating she checked it on the Internet. Budhidhan asks his son-in-law how he made this plan. His son-in-law says he will talk to the engineer. Budhidhan instructs him to rework it. Saras mentions that the man’s name is Naveen Chandra. Budhidhan inquires how he got wounded. Someone arrives, and Budhidhan leaves with them. Palak suggests they go inside and talk. Kumud is coming from the other end, and Saras walks with Palak. Kumud misses seeing him. Saras converses with Palak, who thanks him and asks how he is doing. He replies that he is fine. Kumud and Saras face each other but still cannot see themselves.
Kumud and Saras are standing at some distance and cannot see each other. Palak says, “Let’s go.” Guniyal talks to Vidyachatur, who says he learned today how much work Kumud used to do in the karkhana. He mentions that Budhidhan called and spoke about Kumud. Guniyal replies that they also spoke to her, and she is happy, but Kumud does not know those people. They might expect a lot from her, which worries him. He adds that she will come and meet them. Guniyal expresses concern that Kumud can hide a few things from them. Vidyachatur says that sometimes there are worries and problems that they must deal with without sharing everything to live a happy life. He believes Kumud will make a good family there.
Kumud comes with Krish to Saras’s room and asks about Saras. Murakh Das says he has gone. Kumud sees that someone had the Dalya and thinks about Saras and their old moments. Kumud cries, feeling she has left his memories behind. She asks about the patient, and Murakh Das describes Saras. Kumud’s mother-in-law takes her with her. Saras comes to Palak and Budhidhan. Palak asks where he is going. Saras says he is better than before and is thankful to her. He says she helped him, and he thanks her. Budhidhan remarks that he is a politician but has not done anything to be afraid of. Saras greets him by touching his feet. However, he suddenly feels ill again. Budhidhan asks him to stay for a few days so that he can thank him. Saras asks for what. Budhidhan says for the suggestions he gave them. Budhidhan then asks him where he is from and about his family.
Saras pleads, “Allow me to go.” Palak says they won’t permit him to leave until he becomes fine. Saras recites some good lines. Budhidhan counters, saying he cannot win over them with words. He tells Saras to think of it as his father asking him to stay. Saras recalls Laxminandan’s anger and their fight, becoming upset. Budhidhan asks if someone is waiting for him, and Saras says no, no one is waiting for him. He mentions needing some work and a motive in life. Budhidhan suggests he can work for them, feeling that Saras came not to leave but to stay with them.
Kumud bumps into Pramad, who taunts her and tells her to pack her bags. He calls Kanika and asks for his handkerchief. Kanika comes, and Pramad and Kanika share an eyelock, which Kumud observes. Kanika makes some silly remarks and taunts Kumud. Pramad suggests that Kumud take some time out and be with him. Kumud asserts, “I’m not a guest in this house; this is my house, and I don’t need anyone.” She tells Kanika to do her work and leaves. Pramad laughs, while Kanika gets angry.
Kumud overhears Budhidhan talking to Saras and Palak. She looks at them. Budhidhan offers a work opportunity to Saras, who agrees. Budhidhan says he expected this from him. Saras states, “You are right; I did not come here to go back. Maybe fate brought me here so that I can start a new life and stand on my own to prove myself.” Budhidhan assures him that this work will give him a good beginning. Kumud tries to see him but cannot. Her mother-in-law takes Kumud with her. Kumud thinks about the patient. Kumud’s mu dikhai rasam is ongoing, and all the women praise Kumud’s beauty and values. Kumud engages in discussions with those women, who bless her.
Saras shares some ideas with Budhidhan, who likes them. Budhidhan asks Palak to take Saras with her for the elections. Palak’s husband, Inkesh, stands there and asks for his recommendation in the army, to which Palak taunts him. Budhidhan laughs and invites Saras to join the Kuldevi puja. Palak doubts that Saras participates in puja, but Saras says a few lines about puja. Palak and Budhidhan are impressed. Budhidhan mentions that they have kept this puja for their Bahu.
