Saras and Kumud On Starlife Saturday 18th October 2025 Update, Ghuman wonders what Aarti is doing. Aarti calls her and says everything is happening just as she planned. She tells Ghuman that Saraswati made both her and Saras promise to marry each other. Aarti adds that Kumud is not reacting, but she feels the family is starting to doubt her. She asks Ghuman not to worry and to send money to her family, assuring her that the plan will soon be completed. Ghuman warns her to be careful, saying Saras’s family is very sharp. She also reminds Aarti not to double-cross her.

Meanwhile, Danny, Kabir, and Anushka discuss Saraswati’s wish to get Saras married to Aarti. They all express doubt about Aarti’s intentions, saying she came between Saras and Kumud. Saraswati overhears Aarti and begins to realize that Aarti is taking advantage of her condition. Anushka says she feels Aarti is turning Saraswati against Kumud. Danny says they must do something before it’s too late.
Saras goes to talk to Saraswati and asks Aarti to leave the room. Saraswati asks why he looks so pale and if he is fine. Saras says no, he is still hurt by all that happened to her. He reminds her how she taught him to trust in God and to keep praying, and that’s why he always stayed close to her. He says he was incomplete without her and lived a lonely, quiet life. When he saw her again, it felt like he got his life back, and when he rested in her lap, he found peace like never before. Then he tells her there’s something important he needs to say. She asks what it is. Saras says that Aarti is a nice girl and took good care of her, but he cannot marry her because—
Before he finishes, Saraswati gets upset and interrupts him. She says, “What did you say? You won’t marry Aarti and won’t listen to me?” She accuses him of saying this because of Kumud. Suddenly, she suffers a panic attack and collapses on the bed. Saras panics and shouts, “Maa!” Kumud rushes in and is also shocked.

After some time, Saraswati regains consciousness and sees everyone gathered around her. She announces that Aarti and Chandra’s engagement will take place the next day. She says Aarti is a good girl, sent by God to be her daughter-in-law. She asks Badimaa to help her with the wedding arrangements since she isn’t well. Badimaa tells her it’s too soon to take such a big step and advises her to wait, but Saraswati insists it will happen tomorrow. Kumud cries silently as everyone looks on.
Later, Badimaa talks to Saras. He says he’s trying to stay strong, but it’s becoming too much for him. He confesses that he loves Kumud deeply and can’t bear to lose her again, but he doesn’t know how to make his mother understand. He says his engagement to Aarti is set for tomorrow, and Kumud has given up. Badimaa reminds him that Kumud didn’t give up out of weakness, but because she can’t fight his mother for him. Saras says he knows that, but he doesn’t know how to fix things. Badimaa tells him to leave everything in God’s hands, as He has always guided them through hard times.
Aarti updates Ghuman about everything. Ghuman laughs when she hears that Saras agreed to the engagement and says both Aarti and Kumud have surprised her — Aarti for being clever and Kumud for being foolish. Aarti warns her to speak softly, saying it will be trouble if anyone hears her. Ghuman asks if she’s doing anything to get her released. Aarti says yes, it will happen soon. Ghuman smiles and ends the call, wondering why Kumud gave up without a fight.
Kumud later talks to Saras and asks if, seeing his mother’s condition, he can really tell her the truth. Saras says he can’t get engaged to Aarti. Kumud says he can’t lose his mother again and that no one can help them now. Saras then gets an idea. He says maybe Aarti can help, since she seems helpless and might have agreed to the marriage out of pressure. He plans to talk to her and ask her to pretend until his mother gets better.
Aarti enters just then and refuses. She says she can’t act or lie to Saraswati. Saras asks how she can let this marriage happen when she knows the truth. Aarti says she knows, but if something happens to Saraswati, she’ll feel more guilty. She admits she’s risking her own life but is ready to do it for Saraswati’s sake. She walks away, leaving Saras disappointed.
Saraswati feels happy thinking her son Chandra will finally become a groom. Aarti gives her medicine while Anushka secretly watches her. Saraswati asks Aarti to handle all the engagement arrangements and to get ready beautifully for the ceremony. Aarti asks her to rest, and Saraswati says Chandra will be happy with her.
Aarti steps out and thinks of calling Ghuman. She looks into the mirror and spots Kabir behind her, so she stops. Kabir suspects that Aarti was about to call someone and thinks he should have come in later. Aarti starts to wonder if someone is keeping an eye on her and decides to stay alert. She smiles, walks outside, and looks around to be sure no one is there. Then she takes out her phone to call, unaware that Danny is secretly watching her from a distance. When she turns, he hides quickly.
