Saras and Kumud On Starlife Friday 25th July 2025 Update, Danny comes to talk to Kabir. Danny asks if there is any tension. Kabir says no, he’s fine. Everyone comes to him. Kabir asks why they’re all there and what happened. Laxminandan says they didn’t see the girl’s photo yesterday, so they should see it today and tell them how she is.

Guniyal shows the picture, but Kabir doesn’t look. Yash’s mum says she’s so beautiful. Guniyal says she’s a very nice girl and will adjust well. Vidyachatur says they heard she speaks less, just like him. Yash’s mum says she got educated in Delhi and speaks good English. She says when she visited her house once, she saw her eating with sticks and didn’t know what it was.
Kusum says it was chopsticks. Everyone smiles. Guniyal says she’s good for him and asks him to just see her once. Kabir says he doesn’t want to marry. He says he doesn’t think he can share his life with anyone. He’s lived all his life alone, so they should stop this.
Vidyachatur asks if he has any fear in his heart, but reminds him that marriage is important. Kabir says not for him. He doesn’t want to marry. He gets a call and leaves. Guniyal asks what they should do now. Laxminandan says they grew up in families, but Kabir didn’t see relationships. It’s tough for him to give space to anyone in his life. Vidyachatur says they will show him what happiness a family brings and the benefits of marriage. Danny asks how. Vidyachatur says he and Kusum have to do it.
Everyone sits for dinner. Kumud comes, and Saras moves away, annoyed. She asks Kabir to give his chair. Kabir says it’s her place, but shifts anyway. Guniyal says she made Karela dish. Everyone likes it. Yash’s mum says the Methi ke Theple were made by her today, not Kumud.
She asks Kabir to take it. Kabir says no, thanks. Guniyal insists on the Karela dish. Kabir again says he’s not hungry. She asks why. He says he’ll just have juice and sleep.
Danny says he’s very hungry but can’t eat seeing the karela. Kusum smiles and brings Palak Paneer for Danny. She says she made it for him. Danny says a wife knows everything about a husband’s likes and dislikes, else he would have stayed hungry. Everyone smiles. Laxminandan signals Vidyachatur.

Vidyachatur says that’s the benefit of having a wife. Saras looks at Kumud and feels upset. Vidyachatur tells Kabir that if he were married, he would have something to eat, and asks him to think again. Saras says “Kaka….” Vidyachatur asks why—if he’s regretting being married. Kumud says, “Bapu…” Vidyachatur says he’s just scolding him.
Kusum serves Palak Paneer to Kabir too. Saras and Kumud taunt each other. Saras walks to his room and sees it’s locked from inside. He knocks and asks Kumud to open the door. She says no—he brought the ticket alone, now be alone. He says he’s standing there, to please open the door. He gets angry but calms down. He then says sweetly that he’s sleepy, please open the door.
She says fine, sleep—who’s stopping you? He says his anger is bad, and asks her again to open the door. She refuses and switches off the light to sleep. He says fine, he’ll sleep on the couch. She says it’s good—he’ll get his senses back. He realizes she really slept. He says he’ll have to sleep with mosquitoes and walks off.
In the morning, Laxminandan calls out Danny and Kabir. He sees Saras sleeping in the hall and wakes him up. Saras jokes that they missed him. Vidyachatur says “Saras…” and Saras says they should go, he won’t come, and smiles. Laxminandan calls his name again. Saras opens his eyes and sees them standing. He gets up. Laxminandan asks why he was sleeping there.
Saras says there were many mosquitoes in the room. Danny says don’t make excuses—just admit Kumud didn’t let him in. Saras says it’s time to go to the washroom and walks away. Vidyachatur says it’s too much—Kumud didn’t do the right thing. He says he’ll talk to her. Laxminandan says they decided not to interfere in their matters and let them sort it themselves. Danny says yes, and they need to carry out Mission Ladki for Kabir now.
Saras returns to the room and jumps on the bed to sleep. Kumud comes and sees him. She makes a sound. He says he has a right to this bed. She says no, it’s hers only—he should go to Mumbai and sleep alone. She leaves.
He says he’ll take her to Mumbai. Kabir is ironing his clothes. Everyone watches him. Kabir goes to the bathroom. Laxminandan enters and decides to break Kabir’s overconfidence. He wrinkles the t-shirt and leaves. Kabir comes back and is confused to see the wrinkled shirt. He wonders if he really ironed it or not.
Saras packs his bag and waits for Kumud. He sees her coming and pretends to be annoyed. He keeps packing, including pens and notepads. She says it seems like he doesn’t get those in Mumbai. He says he’ll take their wedding album. She says take it—she has another one. She leaves. He hits his head against the bag. Laxminandan says now it’ll be fun.
Kabir comes and says, “Danny, let’s go.” Vidyachatur points out his wrinkled t-shirt. Guniyal and Kusum say if he had a wife, everything would have been ready. Danny says Kusum is a perfect wife.
Kabir asks if there’s any internet problem. Kusum says the wire broke because of her. Danny scolds her. They start looking for a fix, and Kabir smiles. Kusum leaves and Danny follows. Kabir says Danny will take some time, so he’ll leave. Vidyachatur says they fought in front of Kabir. Laxminandan says Kabir did that—he’s his son. He laughs.
Saras comes to them and says to pack some pickle for Mumbai. He’ll also take the yearly records. Vidyachatur says to take them when he returns. Saras says he doesn’t know when he’ll come again. He sees Kumud and pretends. Everyone smiles.
He says he has paid the water and electricity bills and will do the rest online. He says to pack 2–4 kg of papad—he doesn’t know if he’ll get food there. He says fine, he’ll finish packing and leave. He smiles, thinking this will affect Kumud. Vidyachatur says he’s full of drama, and they laugh.
Saras packs some files. Kumud comes to him. She sees the files and adds more clothes. She says now there’s nothing left here and leaves. He smiles and says, “Some great man said if a wife gets angry, it means she’s showering love. It means we are going to Mumbai together.”
