Love’s Complicated On Starlife Friday 28th August 2026 Update, Akshara sings a song while wearing the black hoodie Abhimanyu gifted her. She sees her bracelet and recalls her last moments with Abhimanyu. Meanwhile, Kunal and a musician record Akshara’s voice.

One Year Later
Akshara sends a letter to Abhimanyu, confessing that she misses him every day. She writes that he always wanted her to become a famous singer. She says she is going to become a famous singer, but only on one condition.
Akshara confesses that it has been a year, yet she feels like she is living without her heart because she left it with him. She expresses how much she misses Abhimanyu and admits that she is not fine. She breaks down and calls out Abhimanyu’s name.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu takes part in an Iron Man power challenge competition. The host asks him what made him become a finalist. Abhimanyu says that, as a surgeon, he knows a surgery’s success does not depend only on the doctor but also on the patient’s willpower. He adds that willpower comes from the heart, and when someone’s memories live in their heart, that person always wins.
Abhimanyu cuts wood with an axe and recalls Akshara’s betrayal. After his surgery, he had waited for Akshara, but someone later showed him a video of Akshara with Kairav. Abhimanyu misunderstood her and thought she had chosen her family over his love.
Back in the present, Abhimanyu becomes furious and cuts the wood apart. He wins the first round.
Meanwhile, Maya tries to lip-sync but becomes nervous about performing in front of the crowd. Akshara boosts her confidence. Maya says lip-syncing is difficult, but she dreams of becoming famous.
Kunal arrives and tells Maya that he has fulfilled her wish list. He gives her ice cream. Maya says she cannot offer ice cream to Akshara because Akshara has to sing for her. Akshara becomes upset and recalls Kunal’s condition.
Maya tells Akshara not to worry about her singing and says she can eat as much ice cream as she wants. She then asks Akshara to have a coffee with her.
At the Iron Man competition, Abhimanyu is shown pulling a jeep with a rope. He puts on his headphones. The host says everyone is curious about which song is playing in Abhimanyu’s headphones and giving him so much energy. The headphones fall down, and the host discovers that there is no music playing.
Abhimanyu asks the host not to try to understand him and continues focusing on pulling the jeep.
Maya says her song will be played worldwide. Akshara silently wishes that the song does not reach Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu recalls Neil suggesting that he find Kairav so they can learn something about Akshara. Abhimanyu says Akshara did not leave any clue because she herself does not want him to find her.
Abhimanyu is shown becoming a party person. Elsewhere, Kunal and Maya wonder why Maya’s song is being played at the Iron Man power challenge competition. Akshara becomes restless.
Maya calls Akshara and Kunal to take pictures. Abhimanyu is captured along with Maya, Akshara and Kunal. Akshara decides to leave, but Maya asks her to stay because her song will be played at the event soon. She insists, so Akshara decides to stay.
Abhimanyu covers his ears with his headphones. “Piya Tose Naina” plays in Akshara’s voice, but Abhimanyu fails to hear it. Maya becomes excited about her song.
Kunal and Akshara become busy with their work. Maya sees Abhimanyu on the screen and says he is handsome and hot compared to the other men there. Akshara sees the ice cream and becomes upset as she recalls her moments with Abhimanyu.
The host announces the next round of the Iron Man challenge and explains that the contestants have to perform a headstand while balancing on one hand. Abhimanyu becomes excited to take part in the challenge. Maya becomes impressed by Abhimanyu, but Kunal fails to notice him.
Akshara accidentally sees Abhimanyu on the screen and becomes teary-eyed. She recalls their moments together. Kunal switches off the TV after noticing Abhimanyu and scolds Maya for sending her voice without telling him.
Kunal tells Maya that they are working hard so she can win the Mauritius singing competition. Maya asks him to relax and says she only sent the singing clip for the competition. She then shows him an envelope. Kunal is stunned after seeing it.
Abhimanyu wins the Iron Man challenge competition. A reporter asks him about Akshara, but Abhimanyu tells the reporter not to ask personal questions. The reporter then asks whether Akshara left him.
Abhimanyu gets angry and beats the reporter. The host asks him to take the trophy, but Abhimanyu says he does not compete for trophies. Instead, he tries to hide his pain.
Akshara becomes teary while remembering Abhimanyu. She thinks that whenever she meets him, he may not forgive her and could get angry with her. However, she remains hopeful that Abhimanyu will understand her helplessness. She thinks it is good that Abhimanyu has started his surgery.
Kunal comes and informs Akshara that the Mauritius Best Voice finale is scheduled to take place in Jaipur. Akshara recalls her wedding and refuses to return to India. Kunal says the event is important, but Akshara says she is not ready.
Kunal asks Akshara whether she is avoiding India because she fears that Abhimanyu will not forgive her. He asks if she no longer trusts Abhimanyu or their love. Akshara asks Kunal to stop judging her love for Abhimanyu and breaks down crying.
Later, Abhimanyu takes Akshara’s name before falling asleep. Akshara recalls her last moment with him, when she promised to return and asked him not to forget her.
