Dana had night mares about Adam. She was upset that he had left all his properties to Jia, meaning that he loved her more. She went to David’s house to see Jia but she was out. Dana asked David to give Jia a cheque of 270 million. David asked if the cheque meant she admitted to sabotaging RJ&E but Dana continued to deny it.
She was upset that Jia was living with him but David reminded her that their marriage was annulled. He asked Dana to apologize to Jia for ruining her company but Dana refused because she was the one who was wronged. She instead asked David to give Jia the cheque because she would accept it from him.
Gab wanted him and Amanda to escape before they were charged with Adam’s murder. Amanda however refused because they had to claim their inheritance. She told Gab that she did not want to be poor again.
Jia went to see Simon for an update on Adam’s case. He told her that he suspected Amanda and Gab could be involved. Jia then received a call from the IT person who was fired from Dragon Empire Builders. He said that he had something to tell her and Jia went to see him with Simon. He told them that Manny had sent the email that Adam had written to appoint Jia as the CEO to his email. He said that he could retrieve it if they were able to access Manny’s compute.
Jia went to Dragon Builders with the IT person to retrieve Manny’s laptop.
Lucy and Dana were not able to stop them because they were in a meeting planning with other clients, hoping to sell the company. Jia got the email and sent it to everyone. Lucy and Dana also received it and went to confront Dana. Their lawyer claimed the email could be fake because it did not come from Adam’s email adress.
An investigation was carried out to affirm the source of the email. The findings were that it came from Adam so it was legitimate and Jia was the new CEO. Dana and Lucy still refused to let Jia have the company. Dana also cancelled the cheque that she gave Jia as compensation for RJ&E.
Jia had a meeting with Dana, Lucy and the board members. She claimed that she did not want to become the CEO so Lucy and Dana could continue running the company. She however made some demands as the appointed CEO.
She asked they not sell the company and were not allowed to fire any of the current employees. She also said that she would have access to the company building in order to investigate Adam’s death.
