Adam called David and asked him to go to his office in the morning. When he arrived, Adam asked him for his help with a new project that Jia was working on, since he is an architect. David said that he had a job in Singapore and was leaving in a few days so he would not be able to work for him.

Adam said that he only needed his recommendation and sent him to the site to see Jia.
Jia was working on a design for an old property that everyone wanted to be demolished. David however said that they could preserve the history of the place, which Jia agreed with. They worked on a new presentation with Jia’s team and David was finally able to get the project approved. He however gave more credit to Jia and her team.
After the meeting, David asked to talk to Adam and Lucy. He told him about his and Dana’s plans to get married. Adam and Lucy did not want that because they had bigger plans for their daughter. Lucy asked why they were in a hurry and realized that Dana was pregnant after she touched her belly. Lucy then slapped her. David said that he and Dana had planned to get married and move to Singapore. Adam got furious and told David that his daughter was not going anywhere. Dana told David that they needed to discuss their situation and he got upset because the two of them had already agreed. Before he left, he said that he was going to be in his child’s life and give him his name.
Lucy scolded Dana at home for getting pregnant. Adam however said that there was no need to do so because she was already pregnant. He said that they would help her take care of the child even if David was gone. Dana apologized for disappointing them and said that she would still pursue their plans for her.
Jia was told by the HR team that she was promoted to Project Manager over a year ago but Lucy blocked her promotion. She tried to talk to Adam but he could not see her because he was busy. She ran into Lucy and she said that Jia was not ready for such a responsibility.
Dana was given the position of Vice President of operations and Jia’s friends noted that she did not have to work her way up. Jia, therefore, decided to take a job offer in Singapore and booked a flight to go for the interview. She tried to talk to Adam but he was busy again so she left the country without seeing him.
Kai, Jia’s mother, went to see Adam at his office. She told him about Jia’s promotion, that Lucy had blocked and he said that he would take care of it. Kai ran into Lucy outside and the two of them had a nasty exchange about how Lucy treated Jia.
Jia ran into David in Singapore and he took her sightseeing after her interview. Meanwhile, Dana was having a hard time with her pregnancy and missed David.
