The series starts with Lucy, her husband Adam, and their daughter, Dana. Lucy, who is also pregnant with a boy, goes to visit her ailing father but he is not happy to see her. He did not approve of her marriage to Adam because he was not well off. When Lucy asks him to bless her son, he instead curses her and says that her family will never be happy.

After Lucy’s father dies, she goes to her funeral. She suffers complications and ends up losing her baby. The death of her son and her father’s curse leads Lucy into depression. She, therefore, neglects her husband and he ends up seeking love elsewhere.
Adam meets Kai, a singer at a bar. After saving her from a group of men trying to harass her, a friendship develops between them. They eventually have an affair and Kai becomes pregnant. Lucy finds out about Adam’s affair and confronts him. She is shocked to find out that Kai is pregnant and Adam brazenly claims the child as his. Lucy attacks Kai, but Adam tries to stop her. Kai goes into labor and Adam takes her to the hospital. Kai gives birth to a baby girl, Jia.
Adam is adamant about taking care of Kai and their daughter. Lucy is therefore faced with the decision to leave Adam or stay and share his affection. She decides to stay because she loves Adam. Through the years, Adam’s real estate business grows and becomes a big company. Jia and Dana grow up together as well.
Around 20 years (or more) later, the sisters are all grown up. Jia works at her father’s company while Dana has been studying in Singapore. She returns home for her father’s 50th birthday. Lucy is happy to have her daughter back home and brags about her success to her friends.
Jia is dating a co-worker at the office. He asks her to go out so they could talk but he ends up breaking up with her. Jia is distraught and is not paying attention to her things when someone tries to grab her phone. Jia tries to get it back but the man pushes her. Jia falls over but someone grabs her before she hits the floor. David is at the convenience store as well and can disarm the man who attacked Jia.
Because of the incident, Jia is late for her father’s birthday party. Kai brings her some clothes and she tells him all about David as she is changing. David however arrives and Dana introduces him as her boyfriend from Singapore, shocking everyone. Adam and Lucy are not happy with the news and both make it clear that David does not deserve to be with their daughter. Adam asks Dana to report for work so that she can start working at the company.
After the party, Dana visits David. They had made plans to get married and move to Singapore and wanted Dana to tell her parents. Dana is irritated and tells David that she will tell them soon. Keep visiting blastersseries.com for fastest updates.
