Aparajita’s father and sister are happy to see her return home. However, her mother scolds her before taking away the evil eye. Aparajita becomes emotional over the gesture. Meanwhile, a woman is performing puja at home when the doorbell interrupts her. She opens the door and is shocked to see Rakshit arriving on horseback. She questions why he brought a horse along, but Rakshit says he has come to meet his bride. He asks his aunt where his bride is, and his mother soon joins them. Rakshit wishes her a happy 40th wedding anniversary. His mother questions why he is behaving so childishly and rejects him as a groom. Rakshit tells her that she will never find a better groom than him. However, his mother reminds him that she found the perfect groom 40 years ago and already has two sons.

Back at Aparajita’s house, her mother takes her inside. Aaru asks if Aparajita has time for her younger sister. Aparajita says she has just arrived and hugs her. Aaru says she thought Aparajita would not be able to attend her Tilak ceremony because of Lalit. Aparajita assures her that she could never miss such an important occasion. She then asks her father about the letter she sent him, but he tells her to forget about it. He says her presence is enough to make their family bonds stronger.
Aparajita’s aunt arrives and warmly hugs her. When Avinash comes in, Aparajita runs to him and embraces him. She promises to help him with his responsibilities, but Avinash says he is now used to managing everything alone. He assures her that he can take care of his household while she focuses on managing her in-laws’ home. Aparajita’s father questions why Avinash is speaking to her that way, but Aparajita tells him not to worry.
Arvind then arrives in wet clothes, making his wife laugh. She says he has forgotten again. Her son asks her not to make fun of his uncle because he has Alzheimer’s. Arvind admits that he forgot to take off his clothes and apologises to everyone. Rakshit wipes away his tears and asks why he is apologising. He jokingly says that getting wet is a new summer trend. He then pours water on himself and Vivaan before splashing his aunt’s son as well. They all start dancing, while Arvind and his wife, Sudha, laugh at the sight. Sudha says she must have done something good in her past life to deserve such happiness. Her aunt becomes irritated by the comment.
Meanwhile, Aparajita’s mother, Malti, tells her husband that she kept the truth from Aparajita because of him. She reminds him that daughters become guests in their parents’ homes after marriage. Aparajita’s aunt asks Malti not to speak so loudly because the neighbours might hear her. Unfortunately, Aparajita overhears their conversation and breaks down in tears.
Later, Rakshit informs Sudha that he has called the priest. Sudha asks the priest to predict when Rakshit will get married, pointing out that he is already 35 but has not shown any interest in marriage. Rakshit explains that he called the priest to discuss Arvind and Sudha’s wedding anniversary instead. The priest examines Rakshit’s hand and predicts that he will get married, but the journey will not be easy. He says his bride will have to face many challenges to win him, just as Sati went through many trials to be with Mahadev. He further warns that Rakshit must protect the girl and fight against every storm that comes her way. Meanwhile, Aparajita hopes that her decision will not destroy her family.
