Jhanak On Starlife Wednesday 12th August 2026 Update, Arshi says they should begin the Aashirvad ceremony. Aniruddh says he has to leave for an hour because of an urgent meeting. Arshi asks how he can leave when everything is ready and tells him to cancel it. Aniruddh says his client has an emergency, so the meeting cannot be postponed. Koushik’s father says he understands because he is also a businessman. Bablu tells Aniruddh to go and says he will manage everything.

Aditi asks if he is sure he will return on time. Arshi asks how he can miss Aditi’s Aashirvad ceremony. Aditi says he may even miss her wedding because today is Jhanak’s wedding. Aniruddh repeats that he is going for a meeting. Koushik asks him to return as soon as possible, and Aniruddh thanks everyone for understanding.
Later, Aniruddh reaches Rishi’s house. Everyone is shocked to see him there. He tells Dadabhai that he wants to perform Jhanak’s Kanyadaan. Parashar says he has no problem because Aniruddh is Jhanak’s biological father. Abhimanyu says they have no issue, but they do not know what Jhanak will say. Dritimaan says Jhanak will not object. However, Jhanak asks why Aniruddh should do her Kanyadaan and says Parashar will perform it instead. Aniruddh says he understands her anger. He admits he made mistakes without knowing the truth and wants to prove that Jhanak is his daughter by performing her Kanyadaan. He requests her to give him this chance, but Jhanak says she does not need him because she already has Parashar.
Dadabhai tells Jhanak that Aniruddh has the right to perform her Kanyadaan. Dritimaan reminds her that even Parashar has no problem with it. Parashar also asks her to agree. Aniruddh folds his hands and begs Jhanak to let him fulfill his responsibility as a father. He says he even skipped Aditi’s Aashirvad ceremony to attend her wedding. Rishi also asks Jhanak to allow Aniruddh to do the ritual. Jhanak breaks down in tears. Aniruddh tells her not to cry and promises to always support her if she gives him one chance. Jhanak says she suffered because of him and that Nutan died because of him. Aniruddh says that is exactly why he wants a chance to bring happiness into her life. Dritimaan asks Rishi and Jhanak to sit in the mandap and tells Aniruddh to perform the Kanyadaan.
Meanwhile, Aditi and Koushik’s Aashirvad ceremony begins. Koushik’s mother performs the ritual and gives Aditi a gift. Arshi says the necklace is beautiful and asks Aditi to take blessings. Aditi and Koushik take blessings from Koushik’s parents, followed by Bablu and Anjana. Arshi performs another ritual and gives gifts to Koushik. He takes her blessings. Arshi tells Koushik’s mother that Aditi is a special girl and hopes she will always receive love and care. Koushik’s mother says her son is like a diamond and knows how to recognize another diamond, which is why he chose Aditi. Koushik’s father says he is lucky because Aditi is going to become his daughter-in-law.
Back at the wedding, Rishi and Jhanak exchange garlands. Aniruddh performs Jhanak’s Kanyadaan. Rishi and Jhanak complete the wedding rounds around the sacred fire and sit back in the mandap. Rishi then applies vermilion to Jhanak’s forehead, completing the marriage.
After the ceremony, Arshi says the Aashirvad function is over, but Aniruddh still has not returned. Koushik’s father says they also need to leave, and Aniruddh is not answering his phone. Arshi apologizes to them on Aniruddh’s behalf. Koushik says it is alright, but it would have been nice if they had all eaten together. Koushik’s mother says Aniruddh should have been with his daughter today. Koushik says Aniruddh should have at least answered the phone because they deserve that much respect. He asks why Aniruddh did not even call when he knew they were waiting for him to eat together. Arshi asks everyone to have their meal, but Koushik refuses. He says they will eat another day when Aniruddh has time. Koushik’s mother agrees and says they cannot eat without Aniruddh.
