Dadabhai’s friend tells him that everyone is dancing, but Dadabhai says this is wrong and decides to leave. Jhanak stops him and asks him to dance with her. Dadabhai refuses, so Jhanak announces that Dadabhai will dance with her during the Bhajan. She starts singing a Bhajan and forces Dadabhai to dance. Dadabhai’s friend says Jhanak is not a daughter-in-law but a bomb. Later, Dadabhai secretly takes Kali Mata’s weapon and hides it.
The next day, Jhanak asks where Kali Mata’s weapon has gone. Dadabhai’s friend says this is a big bad omen. Dadabhai says this is why he told them not to give responsibility to youngsters. Jhanak asks Mishti and Putul to check the room where they kept the puja items. Tanushri asks Jhanak whether Kali Mata’s weapon fell when she was bringing it. Abhimanyu says nothing like this happened when Dadabhai was president. Dadabhai says something very bad has happened. Jhanak says she remembers bringing everything. Dadabhai again says nothing like this happened when he was president and that this is why children should not be given responsibility.

Meanwhile, Koushik asks Aditi why she called him. Aditi asks him why he has not settled down yet. Koushik says he has not found a girl. Aditi tells him that she wants him to stay happy, but Koushik says he thinks only Jhanak can make him happy. Aditi is shocked to hear this.
Koushik says he is no longer interested in the idea of marriage because Jhanak loves Rishi and he does not want to come between them. He adds that he would have married Aditi if she were even 10% like Jhanak. Aditi gets angry and tells him that he is deliberately insulting her. Koushik says he wants true love and is inspired by Jhanak after seeing how she fought for her love. Aditi decides to prove to Koushik that Jhanak is not great and is no better than her.
Jhanak eventually finds Kali Mata’s weapon. She then makes Dadabhai dance. Dadabhai asks Rishi to take him to his room because he is feeling dizzy. Abhimanyu says Dadabhai is hurt by Jhanak’s behaviour and has decided not to participate in the puja.
Jhanak comes there and asks why no one is ready yet. Indumati tells her that they only need to change their sarees. Jhanak says their excuses never end. Abhimanyu says Jhanak has been behaving like a goon since she became president. Jhanak accepts that she is a goon, making Tanushri and Indumati smile.
Indumati asks Payal whether Surojit called her. Payal says Surojit did not call her. Mishti gives Payal a letter and says Surojit sent it. Payal is shocked after reading it. Indumati asks when Surojit is returning, while Tanushri asks Payal what is written in the letter.
Payal goes to her room and reads the letter again. Surojit tells her that he has fallen for the doctor and knows he cannot force her to give him a divorce. He says he cannot meet Payal again, but he will never forget her. He also says he knows Payal will not hurt his family and will leave the house. Payal cries after reading the letter. Indumati comes in and asks why she is crying, but Payal shakes her head. Indumati says she understands that Surojit is not returning now. Payal decides to hide the truth about Surojit from everyone. Indumati then asks Payal to get ready for the puja.
Meanwhile, Koushik asks Aditi to forgive him if he hurt her. He says that one day he will propose to her for marriage. Aditi asks if he thinks she came to beg him to marry her. Koushik tells her that one day she will become his choice. Aditi leaves.
