Nandini says it is good news related to business. She then asks where Shashwat is, and Raj didi replies that he must be in the study room. Nandini leaves from there.

Ishani takes Raj didi’s blessings. Raj didi asks what is special today, and Ishani replies that it is her birthday. She says she will go out after finishing all her work. Raj didi warns her that if Shashwat loses his patience, Ishani will not be able to handle his anger. Ishani says she cannot miss her classes and adds that she is happy she got the chance to continue her studies. Raj didi questions why Ishani wants to study at this age, but Ishani calmly replies that she is studying for her own happiness.
Pihu comes there, and Ishani tells her to wake up early. Pihu says she will take Ishani out for some time. Raj didi asks who will cook, and Pihu suggests hiring a cook or letting Raj didi help Ishani. She asks Ishani to get ready nicely. Raj didi complains that there is so much work, but Ishani says she is handling all her responsibilities. She then moves toward the study room. Raj didi warns her not to disturb Shashwat as he is working, but Ishani replies that he is her husband and she knows when to speak to him.
Inside the study room, Shashwat hugs Nandini and congratulates her for getting the contract. He says he is very happy for her. Ishani arrives and sees them together. Shashwat tells Nandini that she has to stay in Kolkata and says he feels happy about it. Nandini teases him, saying he looks happier than her. They then notice Ishani standing outside. Shashwat asks Ishani why she is there, and she says she came to talk to him. Nandini offers to leave, but Shashwat asks her to stay.
Ishani takes Shashwat’s blessings. Shashwat asks if today is Ishani’s birthday. Ishani then takes Nandini’s blessings and quietly leaves the room.
Nandini questions Shashwat about forgetting Ishani’s birthday. Shashwat coldly asks whether Nandini thinks Ishani even deserves to be his wife. He says he married Ishani only for his children. Nandini asks what kind of woman he actually likes. Shashwat replies that the woman he likes is standing right in front of him. Nandini thinks he is joking, but Shashwat says he is serious and adds that they are both lonely.

Elsewhere, Pihu takes Ishani to a restaurant. Ishani asks if Pihu has called someone else too, but Pihu says she has not. Pihu then confesses that she is in love with Anurag. Ishani points out that Anurag is older, but Pihu says age does not matter in love. Ishani thinks to herself that she cannot let Pihu ruin her life. She also wonders why she feels uneasy hearing Anurag’s name. Pihu tells Ishani not to overthink and takes her inside.
