Imlie On Starlife Sunday 21st May 2023 update, Cheeni searches for food at her home to feed Aryan. Aryan suggests her to take money from his wallet and bring something to eat. Cheeni asks him to have half prasad laddu as she needs remaining half for someone else. Aryan asks her to free his hands to have laddu. She says he needs mouth to have laddu. He says she likes sweets, so her mother named her Cheeni. Cheeni asks if he has any friend whose is named after some stuff. Aryan recalls Imlie.

Narmada’s condition deteriorates after Anu poisons her. Malini reaches Rathore House and says she will call Aryan. Arpita says let it be as Aryan can’t do anything from Pagdandiya. She tells Sundar that they should take Narmada to a hospital. Malini says Aryan should know about it and calls Aryan. Aryan asks Cheeni to check who called him. She spells name. Aryan says let it be as he doesn’t want to talk to Malini. Cheeni instead of rejecting the call picks it. Malini sees her and recalls her baby girl. Cheeni calls her ma. Malini asks who is she and why is she carrying Aryan’s call, looks like a small girl stole Aryan’s phone. Cheeni warns her to mind her tongue. Malini says all Pagdandiay people are thieves.
Aryan speaks. Malini informs him that his mother’s health has deteriorated suddenly. Aryan gets worried and asks Cheeni to free him. Imlie reaches home and freezes thinking her daughter is with a city man and she is unable to face her past. Aryan panics and asks Arpita to take Narmada to hospital immediately. Cheeni asks everyone to keep quiet, rudely tells Malini that she doesn’t look intelligent and hence should give phone to someone intelligent. Arpita snatches phone from Malini. Cheeni asks her to take a deep breath and then feed neem leaves water to Narmada. Aryan asks cheeni if she knows what she is doing. Cheeni says she is confident. Namada’s condition normalizes and she asks Aryan not to worry about her. Arpita asks Aryan if he met Aryan. Aryan says he came her to confront a report who wrote a wrong article against Bhaskar Times and then will return back to Delhi. Arpita hopes he meets Malini and asks him to thank the little girl who helped them.
Imlie breaks the window open and enters house to find out Cheeni shaking hands with the city man. Editor calls her and asks why didn’t she inform him that she used to work as Bhaskar Times’ senior reporter 5 years ago. Imlie says its not a big issue and recalls her first meeting with Aryan till their last fight. Editor says his news paper’s future depends on her past now and he will be destroyed if she doesn’t meet the city man and clear the misunderstanding, she should do anything and save him from the legal battle.
Aryan gets angry waiting for the reporter/Imlie and finds his watch missing. Imlie looks at Aryan’s watch and recalls him. Cheeni asks Aryan if his mother will scold him now. Aryan says his mother doesn’t scold him for losing things. She asks then for what she will scold him. He recalls Arpita scolding him. Imlie cries recalling Aryan and then thinks she should stop crying and speak to the city lawyer. Doctor checks Narmada. Malini tells Arpita that village girl’s home remedy will not work. Doctor says Narmada’s illness is cured completely with home remedy. Anu says Malini is taking care of both business and house, only a daughter and or daughter-in-law can take care of the house so well. Neela and Preeta get tensed and say Malini is like a sister for Aryan. Anu says they joke well. Malini says she is just a business partner and takes Anu from there.
Aryan calls Sundar and goes aside. Imlie walks in next and asks Cheeni why did she bring city man home. Cheeni says he is like coconut, hard from outside and soft from inside. Imlie asks if she trusts him so much. Cheeni says yes and goes to call him, but finds him already gone. She offers half laddu to Imlie and jokes that she heard on a TV that one’s love increases if they share food, now Imlie will fall in city man’s love. Imlie scolds her, and she runs away laughing.
Cheeni finds Aryan having food at a dhaba and asks why didn’t he inform her before coming here. He offers her food and asks if the reporter came. Cheeni says reporter is waiting for him at her house. Aryan asks can’t she come here. Meethi starts praising Imlie’s qualities and says she learnt everything from the reporter. Aryan asks if the reporter is her mother. Cheeni says she is everything for her and continues praising Imlie. Aryan says lets go and meet her now. Imlie watches toy shop outside her house and thinks she should buy a toy for Cheeni. She checks her piggybank to buy a toy.
Malini tells Anu that she many times explained her that she is not interested in Aryan and still loves Aditya, says she will get Aryan married to any idiot and close the doors permanently for Imlie, be it Preeta or anyone else. Anu says she can think about it later, but how will she stop Aryan from meeting Imlie in Pagdandiya. Malini says Aryan is still in Pagdandiya because of a kid, she will get rid off the kid before she becomes a hurdle. Imlie breaks her piggybank and counts money, which she finds insuffient to buy a toy. She prays Seeta Maiya and asks how will she tell Cheeni that she doesn’t have enough money to either feed her or buy a toy. She feels disheartened and apologize Cheeni for not taking proper care of her.
Malini calls a job applicant Rajat and says he will get a job at Bhaskar Times if he clears her problem in Pagdandiya. He sends Cheeni’s pic to him. Rajat says her work will be done. Cheeni looks at a toy at a toy shop. A lady scolds shopkeeper for letting Cheeni touch a toy. Shopkeeper yells at Cheeni to not touch the toys and spoil them. Cheeni gives them both a befitting reply. She then notices Seeta maiya’s idol and tries to touch it. Shopkeeper stops her and warns not to touch it with her inauspicious hands. Imlie seeks salary from her boss. Boss says she has to deal with Aryan and send him back to the city if she wants her salary.
Shopkeeper pushes Cheeni away. Aryan holds her and asks shopkeeper if the shop belongs to him. Shopkeeper nods yes. Aryan picks a toy. Villagers ask him not to touch this toy as inauspicious and dirty Cheeni touched it. Aryan recalls Imlie’s ordeal. Aryan asks Cheeni which toy she wants. Cheeni says Seeta maiya. Shopkeeper refuses to sell it to Cheeni. Aryan tongue lashes him and villagers for being hypocrite and offers a money bundle to the shopkeeper.
Meethi offers money to Imlie and says all her mud toys were sold today. Imlie notices all her unsold toys and brings it to her. Cheeni gets teary eyed. Imlie says its Meethi’s savings and she should keep it for herself for her hay days. Meethi asks if she can seek money from her boss or arrange it from somewhere, but not her mother. She asks when she can send her money from city every month, why can’t she accept it. Imlie cries that she is 25 years old now and couldn’t do anything for Meethi or Cheeni. Shopkeeper gets greedy and hesitates to sell. Aryan offers him more bundles. Shopkeeper says he can take all the toys. Aryan says price is for the childhood and not toys and warns him thatif he misbehaves with Meethi or any other kids and will buy whole Pagdandiya and even its air. He then offers toys to kids and notices Cheeni already gone, thinks if he can help Cheeni in some way. Imlie heads to meet city man/Aryan.
Cheeni cries recalling villager’s bitter words for her. Rajat looks at her recalling Malini’s order to kill Cheeni if he needs a job at Bhaskar Times. He burns the hut and leaves thinking Cheeni will die in a fire accident. Cheeni panics seeing fire all around her and calls Imlie for help. Aryan and Imlie return to Imlie’s house and seeing the house burning run towards it to save Cheeni. Aryan enters the house first and wraps a blanket over Cheeni. Imlie enters next, drops water on Cheeni. Aryan and Imlie both hold Cheeni’s hand and walk out of house. They then slump and fall down and ask Cheen if she is fine. They are shocked to see each other after 5 years and recall the events from their firs meeting, their marriage, their romance, to their separation.
They both emotionally hug each other. Tu Mere Paas Hai Abhi.. song plays in the background. They both express their concern for each other. Imlie says he has injured himself a lot. He hates himself for letting her go. She asks why did he let her go then. He says his dreams had shattered because of her one dream. He leaves her hand and says his love died after her one mistake. Imlie says she had to repeatedly remind her that even she lost her baby and asks if he will hold her hand. Aryan recalls asking her to hold his hand and share his pain. They get out of their imagination when Cheeni speaks and says they met at last. Aryan asks Imlie if she is that journalist. Imlie asks if he came from Bhaskar Times.
Aryan notices Imlie holding his watch. Cheeni says he told his watch will return to him and addressing Seeta maiya’s idol tells Imlie that she got what always belonged to her. She exchanges watch and idol. Imlie tries to leave with Cheeni. Aryan stops her and says he needs to have an important talk. Imlie says later as Cheeni is tired. Cheeni says she is not, so they can speak. Imlie says may years passed without speaking, she doesn’t mind if another 1-2 nights pass. She takes Cheeni home. After sometime, she talks about the the internal wounds one faces. Cheeni asks why did she cry seeing Aryan. Imlie says she doesn’t know why. Cheeni asks she was eager to meet city man, then why didnt’ she speak to him when she met him today. Aryan also thinks he was ager to meet her since years and when he met her, he couldn’t speak.
Cheeni reveals how Aryan rescued her from monkey mask man and how she saved Narmada’s life with her herbal remedy and how rude Malini was over phone. Imlie thinks she was rounding in a circle since 5 years and fears if Aryan found out who Cheeni is. Aryan thinks Cheeni didn’t say that Imlie is her mother but said she is everything, he doesn’t care how they are related. Rajat calls Malini and informs her what she did.
Malini praises him and says now mannerless and arrogant little girl Cheeni will be in a fear and thinking 10 times before speaking arrogantly. Cheeni tells Imlie that someone must have set fire into the hut purposefully. Imlie says it must be an accident. Cheeni recalls villagers bullying her and says they told that she is an illegitimate child and doesn’t have a father.
