Imlie On Starlife Saturday 20th May 2023 update, Imlie tells Cheeni that her hero did a big favor on her by saving Cheeni, so she wants to thank him. Cheeni takes her along to meet Aryan. Aryan feels emotional recalling Imlie, picks Imlie’s anklet from his wallet, and recalls their nok jhok when she finds her anklet in his wallet. They both share their feelings for each other and get romantic. Kesariya tera ishq hai piya.. song plays in the background.

She says he can keep her anklet as her memory and she will keep his performed kerchief as his memory when he is not around. They both hug each other tightly.
Aryan thinks why he feels Imlie is around him. Imlie walks near door and feels Aryan’s presence around her. Aryan opens the door and gets Malini’s call just then. Imlie also busy chatting with the inspector doesn’t notice him. Aryan asks Malini why is she calling him repeatedly thrice in a day when she didn’t call him once in 5 years. Malini says there is a problem at Bhaskar Times. Aryan says she can handle it herself, he handles his problems permanently. Cheeni tells Imlie that he is her hero who saved her. Imlie asks her not to disturb him as he is on phone. Aryan walks into room. Imlie gets into room and not finding him asks Cheeni where is her hero. Cheeni says he comes and leaves with his wish.
Imlie thinks why she is remembering Aryan so much today, is it because she got a call form Bhaskar times, she knows Aryan will never support wrong. Cheeni asks what is she thinking. Imlie says she is thinking that Cheeni’s safety is important to her and when she cannot thank hero ji, she will thank Seeta maiya. Malini gets angry when Aryan ignores her. Anu asks why don’t she marry Aryan to garner Aryan’s attention. Malini says there are many ways to lure a man, when she can stoop low to separate herself from her baby to separate Aryan and Imlie, she can go to any extent to call back Aryan.
Narmada gets concerned watching news about people’s protest outside Bhaskar Times office. Arpita says she feels there will be a good news coming as Aryan has gone to Pagdandiya and Aryan may meet Imlie there. Narmada hopes so and prays Matarani. Imlie visits Seeta maiya’s temple and recalls the event when she returns to Pagdandiya with Cheeni and villagers humiliate her and refuse to let her enter the temple. Cheeni asks if she got into flashback again and asks why is she hesitating to meet her friend. She holds her hand and says let us go in. Villagers stop her again and warns her not to enter the temple. Cheeni warns them to dare not threaten Imlie or else she will pinch them. Villager gets angry and push Imlie down on the floor.
Aryan reaches news paper office and asks editor who dare to misbehave with him over phone. Editor tries to say that it was small girl, but Aryan without listening to him asks who is the reporter who reported against Bhaskar Times. Editor says Binni’s story is true and he will not reveal his independent reporter’s identity. Villagers try to expel Imlie and Cheeni out of temple. Cheeni starts her jokergiri and challenges to enter the temple this time at any cost.
Cheeni challenges villagers that she and Imlie will enter the temple at any cost. Villager tells Imlie that her daughter speaks more than her, when she couldn’t stop their age old customs, what will her little daughter do. He orders other villagers to kick them out. Imlie says they themselves will go away. Cheeni asks what is she saying. Imlie says god stays in her heart and asks villagers to get back to their work as she is not entering the temple. Cheeni gets sad. Imlie says Cheeni can go inside the temple though and pray her best friend/god and prasad. Cheeni says she will ask best friend to let Imlie meet her one day and enters temple.
News paper editor calls Imlie and informs her that someone from city has come who is threatening to shut their news paper and destroy them. Imlie says she is coming there and thinks she couldn’t support truth for herself, but can support truth for her duty and will see who wants to shut her news paper. She drops Cheeni home and asks her not to leave the house. Once she leaves, Cheeni walks out recalling she forgot to take prasad from the temple. Imlie’s slipper breaks when she reaches outside news paper office and gets busy fixing it. Aryan gets irritated, says one who cannot respect time cannot be a good journalist, he himself will find this journalist as there won’t be much journalists in Pagdandiya. He walks out not noticing Imlie sitting nearby.
Cheeni takes prasad from temple and thinks of sharing it with Imlie. She notices Aryan getting into his car and calls him. Aryan walks to her and asks what is she doing here and asks mother’s phone number to come and take her back home. Cheeni fears Imlie will scold her and asks him not to call his mother. She says she knows everyone in this village, so she is not lost. She offers prasad to him. He accepts it and asks if she knows eveyrone in Pagdandiya, she must be knowing a news paper journalist then. Cheeni says she knows her well and is going to meet her. He accompanies her to her house. Imlie enters office where the editor informs that the man already left and was saying Bhaskar Times incured huge losses because of Imlie’s article. Imlie feels Bhaskar Times shhouldn’t bear any losses because of her.
Anu arranges kitty party at Rathore House. Narmada asks Arpita why kitty party is arranged in their house when Aryan is not at home. Anu says she arranged kitty party here to make them feel relaxed as Malini told they are and Aryan in tension. Guest says Aryan is lucky to have Malini as his wife. Anu thinks Malini will become Aryan’s wife soon, she wanted to get this thought in Narmada’s mind. Arpita tells guest that Malini is Aryan’s business partner and not wife. Anu says they both look smart together, anyone can get confused. She gets Malini’s call, goes aside, and says they were talking about her just now. Malini reminds her to finish her task first. Anu mixes a drug in juice and serves it to Narmada forcefully. Narmada thanks her and takes a sip. Anu walks aside and informs Malini that her task is finished.
Aryan walks with Cheeni. Cheeni asks if he is a reporter. He says he si a businessman who incurred losses due to that reporter. Cheeni asks if he came to fight with the reporter and not award her. Aryan promises to offer her choc and toys. She deals with him to drop him to the reporter’s house, blindfolds him, and takes him along. Imlie’s colleague informs Cheeni that he saw Cheeni with a rich man. Imlie thinks if Cheeni met Bhaskar Times lawyer who had come to meet her. She rushes out searching for them and finds Aryan’s watch on the road.
Cheeni takes Aryan to Imlie’s house and ties is hands to a cot. Aryhan asks why did she tie his hands. She recalls him beating Girish and says he uses his hands a lot and talks about the boy bullying her at school and how she handles him with a pinch.
