Indu snaps at him to stay quiet and says she promised Zoon that her father will attend the volleyball game. She worries that making such a promise might land her in serious trouble. Vivek calms her down and reminds her that he is an event manager, so he knows what he is doing. He asks her to trust the plan and says everything will work out in their favour.

On the other side, Ritesh recalls his fight with Sameer and the harsh words Sameer said to him. He calls Rahul and asks him to tell the advertisement company to give their offer to Sameer. In return, Ritesh agrees to do their next three to four advertisements and even offers a discount of thirty to forty percent on his payment. Rahul gets shocked, scolds Ritesh, and asks what is going on. Ritesh tells him to just do what he said. Rahul feels something is seriously off with Ritesh.
The next morning, Indu gets ready early.
Sunita questions her about it, and Indu says she is going to Zoon’s school for the annual sports day celebration. She asks Sunita to help Zoon get ready and reminds her that she promised Zoon her father would attend the event. Sunita gets shocked and asks if Indu is seeing someone. Indu clearly says no. Sunita gets confused and warns her not to do anything that could create more problems for her and the family. Indu assures her nothing bad will happen and leaves the house.
Rahul informs Ritesh that the company agreed to give the advertisement opportunity to Sameer. He again asks Ritesh why he is doing all this. Ritesh explains that after his fight with Sameer, he realised Sameer is not wrong. Both of Sameer’s films failed, so he never got the chance to prove his talent.
Ritesh also says he does not want to repeat mistakes like gifting a car to Indu, who comes from a middle-class family. He adds that he is going to correct that mistake too, leaving Rahul confused. Rahul asks what his new plan is. Just then, a worker brings grocery items into Ritesh’s room. Ritesh tells Rahul he is gifting these to Indu. Rahul is stunned and asks if he has lost his mind.

Ritesh defends himself and reminds Rahul that he once said middle-class families often run out of ration by the end of the month. He says he is only doing the right thing. He asks the worker to gift-wrap everything and send it to Indu’s house, then leaves the room. Rahul scolds the worker and walks away.
Indu goes to meet Zoon’s school principal and apologises for meeting her without an appointment. The principal understands and says it must be hard for Zoon to see other kids’ fathers participating while her own father is missing. Indu says that is exactly why she came and shares her plan with the principal. The principal questions if Indu thinks she is giving false hope to Zoon. Indu replies that she does not care about anything as long as her daughter is happy. She pleads with the principal to agree. The principal finally agrees, saying she normally would not allow this but is doing it only for Zoon. Indu gets emotional, hugs her, apologises again, and leaves.
A peon informs the principal that the teacher handling the special guest has requested her to speak with the chief guest. The principal feels confused but calls Kadambari. Kadambari speaks to Nidhi and lists her demands, also saying she wants a personal welcome. Nidhi agrees and ends the call. She mutters that actors are far better than Kadambari.
Meanwhile, Rajender and Asha are making a list of grocery items they need to buy when the doorbell rings. Asha opens the door and gets shocked seeing men carrying gift boxes, saying Ritesh Malhotra sent them. Rajender and Asha are stunned and start discussing that something must be going on between Ritesh and Indu. Asha excitedly says this means Ritesh will become their son-in-law. Sunita walks in and asks who they are talking about. Asha tells her it is Ritesh Malhotra.
Sunita remembers Indu talking about Zoon’s father attending the sports day and Zoon saying her genie Ritesh will help her find her father. She connects everything and misunderstands that Indu and Ritesh are in a relationship. The Rainas open the gift boxes and find groceries inside, which confuses them. Sunita calls it a sweet gesture and says Ritesh will take good care of Indu after marriage. Rajender also agrees that it is very thoughtful.
On his way to the shoot, Rahul tells Ritesh that the gift has reached the Rainas’ house, making Ritesh happy. Suddenly, his car gets stuck near Zoon’s school, and the driver says they need a mechanic. Rahul decides to book a cab so Ritesh can reach the shoot on time. Ritesh notices Nidhi and other teachers nearby, goes to her, and praises her teaching. Nidhi invites him to the sports day celebration. Ritesh agrees and asks Rahul to make excuses to the producer. He enters the auditorium, and the kids get excited on seeing him. Zoon looks especially happy.
Elsewhere, Vivek calls out Zoon’s father and assures Indu that the plan will definitely work. The teacher asks the kids whose fathers will participate in the volleyball game to step forward. Zoon also steps ahead. The teacher starts calling out the fathers’ names one by one. Ritesh notices Zoon and remembers her earlier request, feeling confused about how her father will participate. Meanwhile, Nidhi goes to welcome Kadambari. Zoon looks sad as the teacher repeatedly calls for her father, but no one comes forward.

Zoon and Kadambari bump into each other. Kadambari scolds Zoon because her mobile falls on the floor. Zoon boldly tells her to keep her important things safe if she truly thinks they are important, shocking Kadambari. Everyone cheers for Zoon’s father as Ritesh watches silently.
